They were very patient with our first heating system, which turned out to be a crappy boiler (not their install) that they kept going for years. They helped us select a new high-efficiency boiler a few years ago that has been running smoothly since installation. There is great comfort for me to know I can call them at any time I have an issue and they're there. Techs seem well trained, friendly, professional, clean and care about what they're doing. Office staff are friendly and help me accomplish what I called for. We've been doing budget plans for all our fuels for years - great comfort in having a regular payment instead of huge swings in the winter/summer. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that they don't automatically schedule my boiler cleanings like they did years ago. Actually, I guess that really should be my task anyway.....changing my 4 to a 5 now :) If you want to set things up to happen without much further attention, they make that easy. I'm too busy to worry about those things - glad I have a company I can trust.

They also repaired my boiler's vent tube and installed a cap, so the vent whistle works and things are now up to code. Everything looks great and works perfectly. Jason and his crew were very polite and professional, and they explained everything that they were doing throughout the process. They were punctual and completed work in a timely manner. They also kept everything neat and clean. Best of all, the finished cost was exactly what I had been quoted in the estimate. And the price was very reasonable. I was in tears before I was even allowed to speak to someone interested in helping. Lisa, helped me trouble shoot the problem for 10 minutes and told me I must purchase a $150 non-refundable part as her best guess at a fix. Too bad for me if she is wrong and at 2PM mountain time they are closed for the weekend. Despite the fact that the product failed within a year, the time to bring out an electrician and plumber cost me my warranty period and an entire day, $150.00 and no more hot water than when I started. I will never buy from this company again and warn anyone else to purchase an instant hot water heater from a reputable company. While Lisa was nice, it was clear to me that she hears the exact same complaints all day long and there is nothing she can do about it. Beware!

It is supposed to be 10 years on the heating elements period per the literature that comes with the unit. However if you call 5 times you will get 5 different answers with varying degrees of sarcasm and rudeness. for a $900 water heater to have this kind of customer service its inexcusable. Bosch really purchased a lemon from these folks in the Northeast. The whole customer service team is head by Lisa Cameron who thinks she is the smartest person on the telephone line when your lucky , enough to get her on the phone, and that only after calling 20 times and having your call screened like your bering interrogated. by the CIA. These units break down and are very temperamental. This is why the support is so much a part of the purchase. Move on and stay away from this brand. Titan water heater, from Niagra Industries of Miami Florida is a fraction of the cost and may not be as state of the art, but at least they stand behind their product. They answer their calls, return your messages, and want to keep you happy. Ms. Lisa Cameron, managed by Dave Tinkins are allergic to good customer service. It simply just doesn't exist for them. Shame on you Bosch Powerstar.
