They have an outdoor for the kennels area so they are not kept indoors their entire stay. They also have a play area with a shallow pond where the dogs can play together. The staff are amazing and treat the dogs like family. Our dog gets so excited when we get there, it has become his second home. They also have daycare so your dog doesn't have to be lef alone all day. It's a great place for dogs to get socialization with other dogs. We always pay for a bath before picking our dog up because he's played outside, especially in the pond on hot days! We absolutely love Pet Galaxy. We also had Duncan there for training when he was a puppy.

When I picked him up at 12:50 no bandanna or cologne. Not the first time they missed that. Makes you wonder if all the services were performed when you pay $150. Manager attempted to interject but kept interrupting me. At that point, I was checked out. He stated he would inquire and call. No attempt to fix it right then. It's been two and a half hours and still no call. I'll drive a bit further to the 1604 location or look for another dog bather.

They have live cameras (accessible through the web site) in all areas to watch your kids throughout the day. They ensure all vaccinations are current so your dog will be safe and complete temperament tests before your dog interacts with the pack. My boy was recently adopted from the Animal Defense League and he was so scared. I am sure he never experienced Doggy daycare before. They were patient with him and loved on him as if he was their own. When he got really nervous they separated him and gave him some space. He is now a regular several times a week. They have great financial packages, offer tons of services and soon they will opening the area to wash your own doggies. They also offer free day care if you have a primary dog and foster another and they are dropped off together. How amazing is that!!!!!! Ten stars goes to Lucy's.

My…read moreonly interactions with dogs were with my grandfather's hunting dog, Dickie, during a two-week stay in Rhode Island each summer. Two years ago we got a cat with our boys. He's great, but he's a cat. Wally. In March 2019, we welcomed Leo, a chocolate lab. He has stolen my heart, completely. Now, at 90lbs, he even sleeps on our bed, which had you tried to convince me this would be the case a year ago, I'd have laughed. All that to say that as we prepare to go away on vacation next week, I was getting totally stressed about where Leo was going to stay. Wally...he could go in and out of the garage and survive with someone coming by every couple days with food and fresh water. But Leo? There was no way I wanted to leave him in a kennel. Along came Lone Star Pet Ranch, which we heard about from a friend who has brought her dog here for 7 years. We brought him there yesterday for a 1/2-day "Playcare" session in preparation for a week there. I could write as much below from a positive viewpoint as I wrote above from an anxious one. *Everything* about the Pet Ranch gives me confidence that Leo will be both well taken care of and also have the time of his life, like he's at doggie camp.
