I came to Karma Dog Training very uncomfortable with how my young Rottweiler was reacting to…read moredifferent situations. He was eager to learn and loved the trainers. These girls gave me great tools and confidence while training Groot. I am so thankful they didn't label him aggressive either, just unsure of things. Thanks to them I feel comfortable taking him out on walks or even just into pet smart to grab a treat with confidence that we can handle any situation.

Kaitlan Rester is wonderful with our littermate puppies, Reggie and Lambeau. She was the first…read moreperson they met, outside of our vet, when they were only 5 months old. Ever since, they truly love seeing her! We have worked with Kaitlin in two private lessons and enrolled in the puppy kindergarten class for them both with her and Hannah Barrera (they love Hannah too). In the private sessions with Kaitlan, she has helped us work with both dogs on basic commands, long leash training, and behavior issues. (they're still learning manners!) Here's the thing...litter-mates are hard and a LOT of work...more than anything I've ever done. There are days I literally feel like I just want to collapse from exhaustion. It is a job in and of itself. The upside? If you want to lose 10 lbs. ....get litter-mate puppies. :) I do love them, though. In all seriousness, litter-mates are a whole other ballgame that I wouldn't recommend to anyone because it's so much work and there can be a lot of issues. It's better to get one dog that's older. All that said, we're working DILIGENTLY to manage behavior and avoid serious issues and, of course, we love our dogs so much. It's absolutely critical that we provide the best training....which means we have a lot to learn ourselves! Maybe that's why we were drawn to rescuing them as litter-mates. We take training our super cute, litter-mate, exhausting puppies, sometimes gremlins, very seriously. Both Kaitlan and Hannah have a calm presence with our energetic dogs (and me) and got us through the first round of basic training in puppy kindergarten by using positive reinforcement techniques. Kaitlan has helped us in private training. If you're looking for puppy or dog training classes and/or private training, I highly recommend!
