We've contracted with Chill to repair and update the electrical lines as part of a kitchen renovation in our income property. With this, I can say that Chill was a definite partner. They worked with our contractor and gave great recommendations. It was easy to schedule with them, and the work was done on time. And then earlier this week, we brought Chill to our new home to make some fixes. A group of lights in a bathroom and an outdoor light and outlet weren't working, among some other things. These all ended up being super quick fixes, and I appreciated that Chris showed me what he did and explained it so I could do it on my own if one of the problems comes back. I now understand after a quick phone call to them that any material taken off the truck is $50.00, $50.00 for gas, and I thought he said (after the fact) the trip charge was $175.00 or maybe that is what he has to make $175.00 and hour to pay the two master electricians on staff. I needed schooling. Course that doesn't add up so maybe they only charged $145.00 for the trip fee. Either way. Be sure to ask up front what the fees are. The work is unquestionable, it's the bill that makes one think. Most businesses quote "up front" on trip, and hourly rates (plumbers, h/a, electricians, builders) plus material. Was told we didn't ask, so... they don't tell. I bought a $50 outlet from them! :) Low star rating due to transparency in pricing. No repeat business from here. No value for my money.

I called this Business, Johnson's Electric, to have a Flood Light Camera replaced as well have a…read morebracket replaced on one of my Ring Doorbell. Having order a new bracket for the Ring Doorbell because the one I had was so tight I could not get it detached from the wall when it needed to be recharged, they operate off a battery. When Johnsons put in the new bracket, he let me try it but then took it, off the wall saying something about the screws. I wasn't sure what he was. referring to and because I recently had a mini stoke wasn't up to standing there so trusting them to do what they do I didn't say too much and went back in. They had also removed the one on the front door to change it to the backdoor. I felt confident that the job was done properly. however, that wasn't the case. I checked both door bells a couple of days. later as I was getting notices that one needed the battery to be recharged and that's where the problem started. When I tried to get the doorbell away from the bracket it had been done in such away it was impossible for me to get it released after it was worked on a little more when I stepped away. They were told this was the reason a new bracket needed to be put in because the old one would not release from the wall. After I couldn't get it from the wall to recharge, I called and the lady who took the work order for that visit made an appointment for them to come out that next Tuesday and try to fix it for me. Not only did not show up for the appointment they have not answered any of my calls to ask why they had not returned. For the $200.00 it cost for the 1/2 hours' worth of work I paid without question you would think they would not have left it in such a state it made it even harder to detach then it did before the work was done. I can't recommend Johnson's Electric for this kind of effort and lack of answering the calls when they told me before leaving if I had any issues to call and they would take care of the problem but instead no respond. I have a muscle disorder similar to ALS so the strength in my hands is not normal and knowing this and being left in such a state was totally unprofessional as well as costly.

After examining the breaker box and confirming the issue wasn't in there, the journeyman and apprentice wanted over $1,000 just to investigate the issue further in a few days (no guarantee they would find the issue or fix it). I sent them away, and reached out to Zwicker Electric instead. This master electrician came out same-day, and was able to diagnose and resolve the issue for $135. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. He now has a customer for life, and I encourage you to hire him too!

We have a ceiling fan that is controlled remotely. Following a thunder storm that knocked out…read moreseveral digital devices in our kitchen we discovered it also knocked out the fan. We could not tell what was wrong since no breakers were tripped. I called JB Electric and had them come out and look at it. Ryan came out found that there was still electric reaching the fan and found out that the sensor in the fan had blown. He immediately went out to find a store that had a replacement. He came back shortly put the new remote sensor in and all was good and fine in no time at all. Ryan was friendly and did great work very rapidly.
