The owners are friendly. Fast service. The #2 is my go to sandwich (the Beast). Roast beef, bacon, l/t, thousand island dressing on a roll.

The next time I went back I informed them of the mistake and they didn't make it right. They could care less. Again, not the end of the world but it's the point of the matter. With all the bagels shops in this town I'll just be going down the street from now on.

This is the second review that I've written recently where I have to lead with the temperature…read moreinside the establishment. It was a brutally cold morning. I quickly scurried from my car to the warmth of Gino's...opps maybe not. It wasn't much warmer inside. There was quite a line inside, which I took as a good sign - it wasn't. It's simply a representation that there doesn't seem to be much of a system, just a lot of people running around, seemingly working hard but not efficiently...and for all of their running around, even they're freezing too. Everyone working there was bundled up. After waiting close to 5 minutes someone took my order - a buttered bagel. That's it. You'd think the person taking the order would simply butter it and I'd be on my wait. Nope, it got handed off for someone else to do it - after they finish the orders they're already working on. 7 minutes pass, still waiting on a buttered bagel. They place is quite busy so my frustration is rivaled with my expectation that they must have some amazing bagels - why else would this many people be putting up with such crappy services. At this point I'm almost 15 minutes in. It's been such a waste of time that I figure adding home fries will make me feel like it was worth while. NOPE. I'm starving, so I dig as soon as I get in my car. The bagel is nothing special and the home fries are lacking any kind of flavor. No pepper, no onions, nothing. And of all the insults (the long wait, the plain tasting food, the prices being way too high for what you get)...all of that in the mix, and the worst part - the fact that it was freaking FREEZING the whole time I wasn't my morning in there. Turn the damn heat on!!!! Have some respect for your customer and have some mercy on your workers.

What you're going to get is an old school grocery store you'd see in the movies owned by friendly locals who'll remember you and your "usual" order. I went here for the first time the other day because of a craving for Boars Head ham and swiss cheese cold cut sandwich. I just needed one... on a roll with double sided Mayo, lettuce, tomato and onions! They made it right in front of me using the veggies already sliced up and ready from their tupperware laid out on the prep table. Honestly it felt like the good old days when you'd visit your friends after school and his/her mom would make sandwiches for you as a snack hahah loved it! And the sandwiches were delicious! Thanks guys!

I like to try bacon eggs and cheeses from every deli I go to, and this one really was up there with one of my favorites. A sandwich that you can tell was crafted with love, an energy that seems to radiate with the family that runs the deli. I'm going to be coming back every chance I can!

Rainy days and tacos just make sense together…read more While driving near Nyack, NY, we stumbled across a small hidden gem called El Cuñao Taqueria & Deli tucked away from the busier stretch of Main Street. No frills, no flashy atmosphere -- just comida auténtica and seriously satisfying flavors. I ordered the carne asada nachos and an order of tacos al pastor, and both hit the spot perfectly. Fresh ingredients, bold flavor, and that classic street-style taco taste that instantly lifts your ánimo on a gloomy day. The nachos were loaded, cheesy, and packed with flavor, while the al pastor tacos were simple, fresh, and delicioso. And yes... we washed it all down with a Coke Zero in a glass bottle because somehow it siempre tastes better that way. Now, if you're looking for upbeat energy and polished service, este lugar probably isn't it. The staff seemed a bit inexperienced and lacked motivation. But where the service fell short, the kitchen absolutely delivered with authentic flavors and generous portions. Sometimes the best spots are the quiet little hole-in-the-wall places that let the food do all the talking.
