I got the eggplant mozz and peppers sandwich months and months ago and I thought about it ever since, I today just now got the samqhixh and it was still just as good if not better. They put some balsamic on it and it's just perfect like the best Sam which I've ever had in my whole entire life like the first time I got it I thought about it ever since. Ordered a sandwich, when I opened it up the sandwich was soaked in grease. The bread was even falling apart because it was sitting in a pool of grease. First let me say that whenever I go take out food I get a new menu because prices change rapidly. I had a menu I dated a month ago. It had a sandwich that I ordered saying it was $14 I went there today they had no new menus and the sandwich was 17 dollars nearly a 25% increase in a month the woman at the register said it was 3 months ago they changed their prices okay it's still a 25% increase which is unwarranted since boar's Head produces all of their meats and cheeses in the United States and there bread is Rockland bakery in nanuet. So tariffs does not affect the price of the food. Apparently Luigi O'Grady's thinks people in the area are stupid. I expect imported meat and cheeses at those prices. They are price gouging at this point other places do not charge these prices and I noticed over time the place has less walkin customers. They cater to catering. Well I'm sure they are also getting ripped off. They are a bunch of liars and cheaters. And oh by the way there is no Luigi O'Grady. In 2022 they had a class action Labor violation not paying overtime to their employees. This is how greedy they are. And most of their employees seem to be immigrants so they are taking advantage of them which is evil. I went there for years I'm not going there anymore. The owners are evil greedy slobs. I don't like feeling this way for a place I went to for years and enjoyed but now it's time to move on. I cannot support these evil greedy people. I also find it insulting that they use the word Luigi in there store names. It's to try to attack the population of Italians in the area and I being Italian I'm extremely insulted. I am giving a rating of one star for one reason - I used a credit card and they added a 4% surcharge to my bill. In the digital world we live in everything is becoming based on digital payments. I know that there are credit card charges for using the card but it seems that prices are increasing and credit card surcharges are being added. Paying $12 for a sandwich then a 4% surcharge is getting a little ridiculous. I understand that business was tough during the pandemic and that supply chain issues exist but I really don't understand the fee especially with all of the increased pricing that has been done. Sandwiches are usually very good, thats it. Very slow service and extremely disorganized. Not friendly at all. Seems to be slipping lately, not sure if new management or what. Avoid the family dinner special, the chicken parm was nasty, the chicken was rubbery and extremely overcooked, the pasta ala vodka was mushy and tasteless. The salad was nice though. The First time: Coming for the first time was not as enjoyable as people told me. Probably because they were busy. Just needed my ice. The Third Time: I came in for lunch time, ordered a number 5(great sandwich). There was a mother, her child, and some union workers waiting for there sandwich. Seemed like it was not busy but yet I still had to wait 20 min for the sandwich. The same type of atmosphere like last time I came in. A lot of cursing. There was a child there listening to all that(not cool). Also i noticed that one of the workers dropped one of the meats on the floor and put it back on the cold cut machine(at least clean it!)and went on with there order. They have every facet needed to be a successful deli. However they fail in 2 key aspects: 1) The service is terrible. The workers all stand at the far end of the deli away from the cash register. So if you come in and need to pick up an order or just need to pay for a coffee you will be rudely ignored until you go track someone down in the back. Sometimes they look right at you and don't care to ask if you need help. Paying for your order is the longest aspect of coming here which makes zero sense. 2) They roll their sandwiches. One of the strangest things I've ever experienced. Instead of stacking the cold cuts on one half of the sandwich, they lay them across both sides so when they close up the sandwich you get a ball of meat in the middle with an outside layer of cheese. This ends up causing you to get full bites of just meat or just cheese. They must train staff to prepare sandwiches this way too because it's always the same. Sandwich integrity is very important and they clearly don't understand that. read more

Unbelievably disgusting establishment. This is the second time my husband, our children and I have been patrons of this establishment. Somehow this time around was an even bigger disappointment. The bread was stale yet had a distinct sogginess caused by the innards of the sandwich, regardless of what you order. The second and final time we went, my child was served moldy egg salad. Just canceled my order with Luigi O'Grady's. I went in yesterday and placed an order and after I paid for it, I realized the prices on their invoice were significantly higher than those on the website. When I questioned it, I was told the prices on the website were wrong. I pointed out that they still need to honor those prices since the online menu was what I used while placing my order and figuring out my costs. The staff said she would have someone get in touch with me the next day. Today, someone from the deli called and said she spoke with the owner and the owner said she would not honor the prices from the website. She also said that she would rather lose my business than take a loss on an order. So, that's what she did. Not only did she lose my business, but that of my friends and family who have used that deli for numerous catering occasions. On a side note the prices were not just a few dollars higher, the price charged was over $10 more for each tray, a rather significant increase. It should also be noted that the incorrect prices were still up on the website today, even though they were aware of the problem. After canceling the order I called Munno's Deli and got the same food for much less. read more

There was a time in my life when walking into a deli was an exceptionally pleasant experience. I will also add that was a fine time for many foods including fresh vegetables and fish that elderly people could afford but that's for another blog LOL. I'm not sure if it was influenced by my choice of outfit or something stuck to my face (out of my vision of course) but I couldn't help feeling the workers staring at me, failing to say a word. It took me 10 minutes to figure out where to order because of it! It felt like a staring match! And I have horrible vision! My eyes. Were. Very. Dry. I could take it all personally or I could mention how hard it was to receive even a smile from anyone behind the counter. This element of this particular deli was MOST concerning. A true threat to the development of a fine deli sandwich. Could this be the downfall of my #7? Well, I'll tell you it was. This establishment needs a revamp on their spirits as to not allow such tragedy! You better bet this Grandma ain't settling for another experience like this again, or a disappointed grandson on the job. Am I right people!? Oh man I really like how they help with local fundraisers so we often get the family dinners but the last couple of times, the food was really not very good. I hired Luigi O'Grady's to cater my wife's 50th Birthday Party Party which was last night. What a fantastic experience!! I went for the formal package with hot and cold buffet, appetizers, Sheet Cake, coffee/tea and waitstaff!! The service was exceptional and the food was amazing! AMAZING!!
