Over the years, I've become a bit if a fan of the occasional cigar. Blame it on trips to the Bahamas and the Dominican Republic over the past fews years and having good friends who are cigar aficionados. One of said friends mentioned this spot recently so my fiancee and I wanted to give it a try. Great place too! The atmosphere is very laid back and the staff are all extremely friendly and welcoming. You can bring your own cigars or buy them from the walk-in humidor. They even have their own signature cigar and branded cigar accessories for sale. They have a full bar and their bartender's old fashioned game thay night was absolutely on point. They have live music on occasions as well. I was in town for work so, I was looking for a cigar spot to relax and unwind! So, I went to Blaze cigar lounge. The cigar lounge has a nice vibe and atmosphere! The cigar lounge had more than adequate parking so, that was not an issue. I had my own cigar so, I didn't go into their humidor so, I can not comment on their cigar selection. The service from the staff was fair and if you have read my post you know I have an issue with lack of service. But, service can be an issue at most establishments in today's market. They have a good selection of Bourbon and other alcohol beverages and the bartenders seamed to be more then capable of making the drink of your choice. I was drinking Basil Hayden bourbon with a large ice cube and smoking a Monte Cristo White Series. So nothing special for me tonight. Blaze is a nice and chill. Grab a drink, smoke a cigar and chat it up with friends or a stranger that became a friend. Although the humidor is not huge it has a good selection any palate would appreciate. The bar also has something for everyone as well as a beer cooler. Summer was a great server and provided a-1 cigar suggestions. There were about 10-12 customers when we were there and she served the all seamlessly and still maintaining great service. WOW! This place is amazing! It is rare, at least in this part of the US, to find a cigar bar and even more rare to find a good one....this place is the "cigar unicorn"...a great cigar bar!!! The atmosphere is classy and sophisticated. This is not you cheap, stuffy cigar bar. The interior is beautifully furnished and arranged. It has excellent ventilation so there's no heavy smokey atmosphere. The cigar selection is quite sufficient. There is also a full bar with lots of offerings. This place is freaking awesome! The Owners and the bartenders are very friendly and helpful. They reserved an area for my group to accommodate us, which I appreciate. The Mojitos are potent and come in several flavors. The blackberry one is especially delicious! I didn't have a cigar but my friends said they were great. And the flavors they had smelled lovely! The plantains are tasty as well. My burger and tater tots weren't spectacular, but they were decent. **FYI** Their live salsa music is THE BOMB. Very elegant inside but we went outside where they had a couch, some end tables and chairs. The bartender was friendly and let us into the humidor which was small but my boyfriend found something to smoke and he enjoyed it. We went to Blaze for the first time this evening. I was enraged within 10 minutes. I couldn't believe we hadn't found this place prior to this evening. Dallas, the owner, is fantastic. He knows his bourbon and cigars. But, don't let that deter you from the food. My wife and I got two Cuban's with tots to take home. Absolutely fantastic! You will not find a better Cuban in the Cincinnati area. Possibly not anywhere. I've read the negative comments and would like to address one. The humidor is NOT a cigar shop. They have a nice variety. If you like your particular brand of cigar, bring it right on in and pay a the $5 cut fee. That's pretty standard. I was excited to take my husband here after reading reviews about awesome Cuban sandwiches - but we didn't get an opportunity to eat one. First and foremost this is a cigar bar....and contrary to other reviews, the ventilation system is NOT great. Even my husband remarked that he felt like he was in a smoke box and would never be able to eat here. Despite sitting at the bar, it took awhile to get a drink, because there was only one employee working. The owner even came in, but chose to sit and smoke a cigar rather than helping the one employee trying to serve a busy bar. As for being a cigar bar - it might be great. Just don't plan to eat there because the one employee is not able to cook and be a bartender. read more

I met the owner, Dallas, my first time in and he was very welcoming. I decided to become one of the first members of Blaze because I could see his passion for success here.
