How have we missed this place? A friend recommended we hit this spot after we were left Brink. Wow! There were so many great drink options, and even light snacks-delish! There was room at the bar and also cozy seating as well. Service was quick, attentive, and super friendly! This would be a great place to stop at the beginning or end of a night out, or heck, sit your self here all night enjoying time with friends! Can't wait to get back! read more

Laid back bar located in College Hill. They have a lot of fun seasonal drinks that are reasonably priced. We went for a work happy hour and enjoyed the outdoor patio space. It was a beautiful day and a great seating area. We grabbed some light bites which were also great! Service was friendly and prompt. Would definitely go again. read more

Went on a date with a girl I'd been talking to who I matched on tinder, and I really like the vibe of this place. Would recommend if you're looking for a nice spot for a first date. I mean, I did get the second date We sat by the window in front, and she said the chili was really good. read more

Where do I start??? First of its kinda like a Friend's bar, once you go you Will make friends with someone! The friendtenders (yep I made a new word!) Are great! Its located in College Hill across from Brink Brewery ( favorite also). They can make anything you come up with. Oh, and there is a light food menu that changes nightly. Or pizza next door. Great little neighborhood bar with amazing, friendly service. Lots of drinks to choose from and food specials to try while you're there. A very chill place with a wide selection of drinks and small eats. I got the crab cheese Rangoon hotdog and it was tasty. I couldn't even taste the hotdog in it. Who would have thought it blend in so well. It was also inexpensive... only $5 bucks for the hotdog. read more

I love the Big Chill. Awesome service! The music's is on point and some tv shows back in the are shown. It's small where I can have my quiet time by myself, eat my chips, drink my frozen drink, and do some reflections over my day. I really do not know anyone yet and that's ok. It is so nice to have a dedicated bar in town. Not a restaurant with drinks, not a brewery-while these are nice-it's great to be able to pop in and sit at the bar for a drink and a chat and maybe a snack. It's small and cozy and fills up quickly on the weekends. They have drink specials, cocktails, beer, wine, and all the spirits you could wish for. If it's chilly, an Irish coffee is on its way to you. Coming the summer, boozy ice cream to suit your needs. Like I said, the place is tiny, so be aware the building fills up quickly. There is a back patio that will be perfect in the warmer months. Definitely worth a trip in; just get there early. read more

Casually strolled in to check out this new neighborhood College Hill Bar and loved how laid back and cute it was. The bar staff were friendly and made me a delicious margarita that was unique and different. It had some kind of cool winter herb thing in it. Is that helpful? Probably not, but i cant remember what was in it anymore. But what i loved is that they took a classic drink and elevated it by putting their own twist on it and i love it when bars try and live on the wild side. I just remember feeling good about my experience and isnt that all we wanna feel anyway? Big Chill is one of our fave spots in College Hill. Inside is a welcoming vintage feeling, smallish bar but outside in the back there's a large gathering area & fire pit. It's quirky fun in good weather that you can order soft serve cream from a walk up window in the back. Occasionally they even grill food for customers outside too. The outside has great space for different size groups and room for families with children & dogs. The bar food is simple yet tasty. Must try their Old Fashions made with very clear BIG ice, Buffalo Trace bourbon and always a fresh twist of orange rind. read more

I just moved to the area and quickly decided that Big Chill will be my spot in my new neighborhood! Their bar has the best vibes, both inside and outside. The patio is huge, dog friendly (always a plus in our books), and even has a fire pit for chillier evenings! Their pickle dip is killer and they have really good drink specials as well. Every bartender and staff member I've encountered in the few times I've been there has been super friendly too. I'm so glad I found this gem! read more

This place just opened in College Hill. This is so delightful. The neighborhood was in need of a cocktail bar. Brink is across the street focusing on beer. But now College Hill has a true cocktail bar. I enjoyed every minute of it. They also rotate in food from time to time which is unique. read more

The place is small, very quaint and inviting. The bartenders were on point, personable and fun and made some fabulous drinks. The food-wow! I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich. It's a must have! It was delicious, light, filling and not very expensive. If you are in the College Hill area, stop at Big Chill!! It could be a great place to host a birthday party with close friends! But wait! There's more! Keep on walking and find some stairs that lead into a basement. Down here we have sexy black sofas, tables, candles, and a stage! Apparently, this is where the creative get together and make sweet art. Great happy hour prices on cocktails and wonderful staff - we really like Jess who had a great personality and was very personable. I really want to come back to an underground show.

I was unsure if this was allowed but nothing was said upon entrance so I thought it was okay. not even five minutes into being there we were aggressively told to dump out our drinks so I go ahead and do so immediately. We went towards the bar a few minutes later to order a drink and to play pool afterwards. before we could say or do anything the bartender yelled at us to order something and accused us of things. very alienating and rude I would not go here if you don't like to be treated poorly.
