Great RV park. The staff was very friendly and even though we arrived after hours still met us at the office and offered to give us a better spot closer to the bathrooms for no extra charge. The bathrooms were spotless and the showers were amazing! They had a cool game room and free coffee. Never went into the office but it looked pretty nice. They even had mini golf and a pet park. They were very close to the highway which made it accessible, but there was no noise which was great. Probably one of the best if not the best RV parks I've ever stayed at. Definitely will stay here again if traveling through the area. read more

I had a really great stay here. I was so glad they had laundry! My spot was easy to find. They have a really cool patio area with outdoor games too and a little dog area. Everything was great! We are on our way to California and stopped here. The place is very well taken care of the spaces were nice. They had all the amenities like showers, laundry and free coffee in the morning. Great little store with things you may have forgotten if you a camping. Staff was great and very helpful. They do have high water pressure so make sure you have a pressure regulator so you don't blow any lines. We would definitely stop here again. read more

This place was great! It was just what we needed after a very, very long day of driving. The grounds are super clean and they had the best bathroom set up of any RV park I've ever ever been to. There were three separate bathrooms with a toilet and a shower. They also had laundry area and a Keurig set up with coffee and different creamers. Great place! read more

Great little stop on our way across country in our RV. The whole place was clean and having full hookups was a plus for a family of four. They also had three showers amd a game room with a pool table. The only down is the high water pressure, but they loaned me a regulator because I didnt have one. The absolute perfect overnight stop when traveling through New Mexico. Perfectly between Amarillo and Albuquerque, & a very easy area to get in and out of. When we arrived, we realized we'd had an issue with our slide out during the drive and the owner, Kevin, was INCREDIBLY helpful and generous in letting us use his tools in order to make some small repairs for it to be driveable again. Truly the best and kindest customer service we have encountered on our 8 months on the road, and we are so thankful. The facilities are incredibly well-maintained and clean, and the park was level, easy to navigate, and clearly cared for. We used the on-site laundromat (coin operated) and the wifi, which had great speed. We enjoyed a nice sunset while working on our slide-out and absolutely will return next time we are passing through. Felt very safe the entire time and appreciated the ease of the pull-through spot provided. Overall a great and easy stop at a well-maintained campground with incredible customer service. Stayed here for 2 nights May 2021. Had someone next me playing their Death Metal Music really loud but it was no issue for us to get our site changed. The WiFi was really good overall. There was a few hours the first night where some kids were gaming and using a lot of bandwidth, Night 2 they were gone and it was perfect. Bathrooms and showers were clean Motion Lights all over the property are a nice touch. Laundry was just $3 per load for wash and dry. Such a cute well maintained RV park right off Route 66. The owners are so friendly and helpful. They do take you to your site which is always so helpful and more parks should do this. All sites are pull thru which makes things so much easier especially when coming in at dark of a long day of driving. They have self serve coffee available. DVDs to watch, games, puzzles, a dog park. They have a lot to offer. The one thing I would say they need is some additional lighting. It is very dark, they do have motion sensor lights are nice they should also add some bigger ones to the overhead poles to add some extra lights. All in all would highly recommend and we would definitely stay again. read more

We decided to stay here after I called the nearby KOA and there was no answer and no answering machine. I tried numerous times. I read the reviews for Blaze-in-Saddle and should have called this place first, based on the reviews. This place is off the 40 and easy to find. It's not a large campground but it is well maintained. The couple at registration were super nice and led us to our spot. We don't like trees (keeps our satellite working) and it was all gravel. It was level enough for our rig. Had full hookups and 50 amp. We just spent the night here and it was perfect. We would definitely stay here again. read more

My husband and I are traveling through the U.S. And we stopped in this campground for the night. All I can say is it is a very nice campground, very nicely organized and clean. A place that you must check out! They even have a place for horses! Also you must check out route 66 in town. we like that it's not far from Interstate 40. We are new to the RV life. This park was our fourth on our ongoing trip to the Midwest. The park is very clean and well kept and the staff...excellent! When I checked in I knew I had serious issue with the water hose going to water pump. I didn't have the parts/knowledge at the time to fix it. Mike jumped right in, showed me what needed to be done, and fixed it with a new compression fitting he had on hand. I was told RV folks are some of the best and you confirmed it. I've driven past Tucumcari several times but had not been "in the right place at the right time" for an overnight stop... I was very pleased that the manager (Mike? Cell ph connection wasn't the best do not certain of his name) came out to meet me even though I pulled in after office hours (close to 9 PM) & then drove over to give me my change even when I assured him that wasn't necessary ($23 is a great bargain for a horse motel w/nice safe pens & running water right in front!) My mare also enjoyed the green grass which she hadn't seen much of during our previous week of travel... Blaze In Saddle will definitely be on our "safe & solid place to stop" list! read more

This place is perfect for anyone with an RV traveling across I-40 and if you have horses or pets, even better. The owners greeted us upon arrival and helped us get our outdoor pens situated for our horse. Hers had a covered lean to, which was perfect for our needs. He then guided us into our space. They have everything you need to hook up. This place is convenient and easy highway access. Very clean and close to restaurants, and more. Sites are too close together. It is in a beautiful wide open space with a nice view of Mt. Tucumcari. Level gravel sites. But I was sitting in my chair at the bottom of my steps enjoying the fresh air when they put a big rig right beside me. I was literally only a couple of feet from where he hooked up his sewer.
