It seems that the laser tag places in Louisville are all closed except for Main Event, which is very expensive. I was glad to find this place just a short 45 minutes away, and it was great. My son and I played four games of laser tag and a bunch of other stuff. We went on a day when that county's schools were in session, so there weren't hardly any people there. Two staff members hustled quite a bit but took good care of us. I'd certainly come back. read more

This place has a lot of things to keep a child busy: Inflatables, Putt-Putt golf, Rock climbing, Roller skating, Arcade and ticket prize machines, Food, Party rooms and a Toddler area. It's good for a few hours but it can get old for adult chaperones (parents) quickly. Why not 4 stars? Here we go. The arcade features mostly older machines and they almost always aren't giving tickets out like they should (translated: kids are driving you out of your mind about their tickets while you continue to pester the employees that the machines aren't giving them out). With the few ticket spitters they have, you should just save some money and order from Fingerhut and save your money. The typical crappy kid items are outrageous and some will be impossible without a cubic crap ton of repeat visits. You're exceptionally lucky when a trade wind from Alaska brings you a cell signal strong enough to make a call or text someone during your adult boredom. You need to bring a book or tap into their sometimes sluggish wifi. read more

I dont take my daughter to blazers too often but decided to have her 5th bday party there in Dec and was not disappointed. The party planner Lynn took care of everything for me. She decorated the room beautifully, went out of her way to have a game and coloring activity that went with my daughters theme, she packed up all of my leftovers, handled all the guests, I mean everything you could think of she did. The cake I ordered from blazers was great and it was nice not to have to make an extra stop somewhere else for it. Blazers included food,drinks and treat bags and the admission fee for 10 kids in my party package and it was well worth the money. If anyone is looking to throw a kid party for a reasonable price that you can just sit back and relax at this is the place. read more

I'm ashamed I had not looked into the reviews prior to spending over $120.00 (7 kids and we purchased the $16.99 for 2 hours of the bounce house, laser tag, roller skating, and ax throwing (plush)). Thank god we did not spend extra on the arcade because these games were clearly ancient. My disabled mother and I brought the children and were then told I needed to pay $5 each for my mother and myself to get and sit to "supervise" the kids. Ages 11,11,11,11, 12,12,13. So I asked to talk to the manager and the young boy said I'll go get the owner. When she came to the desk I explained that I was spending $120.00 why should I have to pay another $10 for my mother and me to sit down in the place. She explains they do not supervise and we needed to supervise- again all 7 children are of age to be left alone at home in the state of Kentucky, as long as I did not leave the premises why could I not just stand at the door? Or better yet, just don't change the adult a fee if they are already spending $120 dollars. She explained she was a small business owner and she had to charge me the additional $10 aside from the $120 total I was paying for the children to participate. A successful business owner would be happy to waive the adult fee ($10 total) so that she wouldn't take a chance on missing out on the admission of 7 children (over $120.00). And to add- you are not able to "supervise" your children during the laser tag because it's upstairs and behind a closed door, they have video screens downstairs which are not helpful because you cannot see clearly ANYTHING on any of the screens. We encountered only 1 nice employee (Donavan) the entire 2 hours we spent there, hats off to you Donavan for being nice and professional while working around such negativity! YOU are the only reason I gave 1 star and the kids and I appreciate you! **And just to add- I was, in fact, going to let this experience roll off and not leave a review. But the younger boy working the register (that went and got the owner for me upon arrival) yelled to me loudly as I was leaving trying to gather my children up to walk out the door "It was such a pleasure having you all here!" So for me, after another unprofessional rude encounter, this made the decision to make this post easier and even more essential for others to be aware of. I have many pictures of other very concerning things I encountered while here, and I will escalate this further to the appropriate authorities. My 10 year old asked me to rate this place because he saw some of the negative comments before we came. I know workers depend on the day...but today he wants everyone to know "the attendants were super nice" and that everyone was nice. Both boys 7&10 had a great time and we didn't even pay for an arcade card. The food service is pretty slow but they are understaffed so I get it. Thats really the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. That and Im not really in agreement for charging parents after we spend a ton already to get our kids in and on other things. We purchased the $239 package for our 10 year old granddaughter's birthday party from 12 to 2pm on a Saturday. We had to spend 10 minutes signing in because the woman at the front desk made us wait till 12noon. (Rude). Bounce house inflatable was poorly lit and frightened our 1 year granddaughter. We were not allowed to play laser tag till 1230. Battery packs went dead for two of us very quickly. Pizza was cold and soft drinks watery. Don't feel like we got our money's worth. My husband and I brought our children here today because this is where they were begging to come. We get to the counter at 1:22 and they give my children a sticker stating they are able to play from 1-2. So first they only are going to give my children 30 minutes to play when we paid for an hour. I talked to a "manager" and asked we are able to get our full hour correct, she told me yes. As my 7 year old is jumping at 2 a grown worker comes up to him and tells him to get off of the jumpy house he can't play anymore, after she stood there staring at us for minutes, she decided to talk to my kid instead. My son came over upset, saying a grown up hurt his feelings. This was a terrible experience, we will NEVER take our kids back somewhere, where they 1 don't allow you to get the full time you pay for and 2 don't have the guts as adults to come up to us and handle a problem instead of a child. I'm appalled by the behavior I experienced when trying to correct the matter, being told "we'll let you finish your time" no I payed for an hour my kids are going to play for an hour! read more

Our daughter and our two teenage grandchildren came to visit and we took them to Blazer's for fun and lunch. Entry was fast and efficient and I enjoyed the ability to select a combination of things they each wanted to do. My wife and I played golf and some of the arcade games. We all played golf and had lots of fun. My daughter and the kids played Laser Tag and really had a work out. Grandson tried the rock wall climb and we all enjoyed his antics. The place was clean. The staff was visible and everywhere; and they were nice and really helpful. The pizza and fries and drinks were good too. This is a great place to take your family and spend some quality family time. My wife and I enjoyed the arcade games and may just come back and play some more. read more

This place is a joke. It's probably awesome if you have older kids and don't mind spending way too much money. But 5,6,3,2 and 2 babies and we payed too much for a less than good experience. We were greeted with "a free adult pass for kids under 4". So we went ahead and decided on 2 events. Jumping and skating. But that later changed to "only for jumping" and another trip to the counter for 30 dollars in adult skating passes, when our kids decided they wanted to skate. Also, yes babies are free. But if you want to escort your baby (watch them in the play zone) you need to pay. I get an employee and customer miscommunication, but delivery is key. Employees here don't have it. They are rude, condescending, and all around unpleasant. I don't plan to return. Hahahaha...based on the response I think my point is driven home. Rude and unprofessional. Un kid friendly music This is a good place to bring the kids, especially during the summer. They have a ton of stuff to do. Bounce houses, arcade games, all kinds of stuff. However, I haven't tried any of that. Not my kind of thing. Plus, kind of kids only. The only thing that is a little disappointing is the skating rink. While the rink itself is nice and clean, and a nice, but small, place to skate, the skates themself are disappointing. For people like me that ice skate more often, the non inline skates they have are almost impossible to navigate on. I wish there was a choice in the types of skates that are available. Inline and non. Also, while the place is kid friendly, the music that plays over the speakers in the rink can be anything but. While there is an option to pay to play songs, the playlists that play on auto are often a little more adult than I would like. I've often just hoped that the kids with me were more focused on skating than the music playing. Queen, Britney Spears, and much of the country music are good, for teenagers maybe, but not for ten and under, like most of the kids coming here are. Up frontzies: this place is for the littles, exclusively. Not being the target audience, it always seemed unfair to find it lacking, gross, and one call to DCBS away from problematic PR exposure. Since apparently grown folks on their own are scoping the joint out, I figured it would be helpful to add to the conversation proactively. Yeah, I know, city folk have places where adults can actually enjoy playing laser tag or roller skating (let alone wall climbing and arcade - fun). This is not (and has never had any capacity to be) that. This is a pole building with badly cleaned, though maintained, large inflatables (I mean, they all still stay inflated, if stinky - for the love of all holy, wear thick this-purpose-only socks and change them before you inoculate your shoes with athletes foot); a tiny climbing wall; a tiny roller skating room (not big enough to call a rink - more like roller skating in a small basement with some creative lighting installed); an utterly 'meh' (even for pre-schoolers) fenced in mini-mini golf, and a mini arcade that is guaranteed to tree even the most patient of parents, since it's fairly unbearable to enter, yet if you don't monitor 'wins' closely, kiddos will collect about a third of the tickets earned... Price structure is both high and nickel and dimey (bonus!), both generally and for parties. Cell reception is incredibly and inexplicably bad (even receiving / sending text messages involves delays, unless you use their security free wireless, which, honestly, just seemed like an incredibly sketchy idea). Available food is terrible (they don't allow food to be brought in) and is of the "fresh from the freezer" variety. Cool enough for the littles, no doubt, unless you're paying 12$ for a plain cheese (cardboard) pie, and 15$ for a couple of frozen slices of pepperoni. The worse part: I've literally seen staff watch children become violent with other children and do nothing. I'm not talking jostling in line or goofing around, I'm talking children in an area not accessible to non-payers who needed an aware and informed adult to intervene because they were over-stimulated, out of control, hurting others, and the staff had not one iota of interest. Here's the thing: I can't actually blame the staff. They were teens. They (clearly) had no training. They had no idea what to do and (apparently) no protocols for dealing with said problems (has happened more than once). And that, in a nutshell (screaming, "help, get me out of this nutshell!") is why I won't ever go back, no matter how many littles I'm responsible for or related to, ever. read more

My kids and myself used to love going to blazers but after our experience yesterday we will not be back. First up until today it was never an issue for me to help my 2 year old daughter on the inflatables without purchasing a wristband as the inflatables are the only thing she can really do for the $16.99 paid for her, even though when we purchased the kids bands I even specifically asked if with the non participants band if I could still help her and was told yes. Then when I tried to help her was told I couldn't so I went back to the counter and asked the boy why he said I could help her but then I wasn't allowed to and he told me that I could help her get onto the openings but that was it which is just dumb in itself. Then after my daughter got trampled on by 2 kids bigger than my 11year old ( given that was those kids parents fault from bad home training) the workers on the floor never missed a breath talking to each other after it happened right in front of them, then I went to stop my sister from buying a band for me to be able to help my daughter because at that point i was already beyond ready to get my kids out of there as quickly as possible but then I was only To be accused of lying by what I'm guessing was the manager when I said that it has never been the way it was in there and that not even 6 months ago I was more than able to help my child on the Inflatables with just the non participants band thats when she said I was lying it was longer than 6 months but didn't have anything else to say when I told her that her employee standing next to her just pulled my account. Save your money unless you enjoy paying a ridiculous amount to be called a liar by their staff. We would drive from Louisville to come there because it was always a friendly fun atmosphere but now its the complete opposite. Small businesses as the owner called this in another review will often fail because of having sh*ty employees that have no customer services skills. read more

Brought our family here to celebrate my son's 5th birthday. I have never experienced a more inefficient place. I paid for 12 people along with some additional services. The bands were all messed up. Had to spend 45 minutes figuring out who attend what activities. The poor children had to wait almost an hour to play. Will not return. No associate or manager apologized. I had to return to the desk 3 more times to clear things up. Then one associate told me that i needed to pay for one more activity, i think not. read more

I see they had my review from a couple years ago removed. I had a bad break in my foot and ankle roller skating a couple years ago here. I understand injuries happen at places like this but my bad review is because the owner refused to call an ambulance when I was in severe pain and asking. It turns out my break was very severe and I had disconnected my foot completely from my ankle including ripping tendons and breaking multiple bones. My surgeon and sports medicine doctor both had a meeting as soon as they got X-rays from the hospital which was a long wait because it wasn't treated as an emergency at first because this place refused to call an ambulance. The owner who had me sign papers before I left literally told me that an ambulance won't come pick me up for stuff like this. Looking back I should've pulled out my cell phone and called anyways considering she had no right to refuse an ambulance when it turned out my condition was severe. I had a 3 hour surgery, 16 pieces of metal in my foot and ankle, and 3 months of recovery. Besides the bad experience of her not calling an ambulance during an emergency the place really is a waste of money like other people said. Not much to do for small kids and they had the toddler section on a scary balcony that makes any parent nervous. read more

I give it 4 stars for the atmosphere and the amount of things to do for the kids. My son has had 3 birthday parties there and we have attended numerous parties for his friends. The bouncy houses, lazed tag, putt putt golf and roller skating along with the arcade makes for endless hours of fun. Now, the price and party a arrangements could use some help. The cost is outrageous. $268 for two hours and two play items (we chose the bouncy houses and lazed tag) is steep. That was the cheaper of the packages. I know many people who want to have their kids' party there but simply cannot validate spending have a months rent on two hours. I understand that it costs a lot for the bouncy houses, food, electricity bill etc, but COME ON!!!! Many single parents are simply unable to afford anything like this. Also, this year they have switched things around to where the parents are no w to wait in the cafe for an hour while the children play and then the last hour you get the room for the actual party of pizza, and gift opening. THEY ARE very quick to kick you out when the hour is over. The pizza is mediocre. I understand that children's tastes are not gourmet, but after paying $268 I expected More than cardboard with sauce and cheese. The staff was friendly enough, but sometimes had to find. All on all it's not about the parents but the kids, but this place could use some improvements read more

I got injured here may 19th 2017. We were there for only 25 minutes when it happened. I know that's a risk you take when doing some of the attractions in this place but after reading some of the reviews that sound very similar to mine I think this place needs to be looked into. I decided to roller skate and after 10 minutes I had a bad fall and knew it was bad. They had a very young boy monitoring the rink and I told my family I know I've broke something and I was blacking out. When the boy ran to get what I assume was a manager they though I had hit my head because I said I'm about to pass out. I was able to tell them it was my leg and ankle not my head. My skate were removed and I was told to try and stand when I tried all you could see was nine moving and collapsing and the young boy said looks fine to me even though my ankle was bigger than a soft ball. I begged for an ambulance due to swelling and feeling like I was going to pass out often. The woman refused to call saying they wouldn't come get me for something like this and made me sign papers before I could go out the door. At the time I was in so much pain I'm just in a hurry to get help as soon as possible so I go along with stuff so I can get out the door. Looking back I wish I would've called myself and told the manner what I thought about them not calling when I asked. My husband wasn't with me and when I told them later they refused he said that's mot allowed. If someone feels like they need an ambulance no matter what the reason they need to call. Looking back I think it was to make it seem like it was not as big of a deal. I found out I had pulled my foot completely off my ankle and it was no longer attached and broke multiple bones in my leg and foot. It took major surgery and therapy to fix it. I couldn't walk for 8 weeks. My surgeon and the specialist that I met with before surgery said my they had a meeting when closed going over my xrays and talking about my surgery because my breaks were so bad. When I came in for my appointment to go over my surgery date he said I had major damage and might not get feeling in my foot again because damage. Thankfully I did get feeling back and I can walk after having 16 pieces of metal put into my leg and ankle. I'm not leaving this bad review over my injury because I know roller skating is a risk itself but a bad review for how the handled a customer being hurt and it turning out to be a very serious injury. They wanted an email later for an update after I left and a family member emailed letting them know I needed surgery. They said they would send flowers but I never saw them. I had no intentions at all of trying to make a big deal of being hurt or trying to start trouble. I understood stuff happens but treating injured customers like this needs to stop. That's what's making people upset. We weren't even offered a refund after spending a decent amount getting into the place and only being there 25 minutes. From now on if someone says call for help you need to do it weather you think it should come avoided or not because I did find out that was one thing I could've started trouble over butni didn't since I'm a decent person. read more

Visited Blazer's Fun Zone this weekend for frozen yogurt. They have a great selection of favors. We loved the French Vanilla, Orange Sorbet and Pistachio Dulce De Leche. The kids had a great time with lots of games to play, inflatables, laser tag, roller skating and putt putt golf. Great family atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
