This is the newest brewery to open up in Etown. Getting here was kind of a pain becau you go the roundabout and turn on a one way street that leads you to a parking lot behind the courthouse that is close by. There is an abundance of parking just be careful where or you may get towed. They have a back entrance and a street entrance. I go in and it's very spacious. I notice there is a kiosk to order food, so no table service. I sit at the bar and order a flight of 4, I always do this when visiting a new brewery. My favorite is the Haus Light is my favorite by far. What really made me give this place 3 stars was the fruit flies flying behind the bar, I had to swat a few of them away but, there was a bunch behind the bar. I didn't really see them until after I got the full pour of the Haus Light. I am glad I didn't eat any food here because I ate before coming here. While sitting at the bar, I noticed people going to the kiosk to order their food, they also had to go pick up their own food. Bartender wasn't behind the bar very much however, she was kind and helpful. I'd like to come back and try the food but, hopefully they fix the fruit fly problem behind the bar. read more

Came back today in the mood for a Reuben. I had seen a previous review that said they were a little skimpy with the meat, and this is unfortunately true. It was super tasty though and it hit the spot! Next time if I'm trying to not leave hungry I will definitely opt for a burger! The sweet potato fries were as good as I remember, and I love that cinnamon marshmallow dip. The staff was friendly and helpful as usual. Wife had an event in Elizabethtown this past weekend and when we arrived late Friday afternoon we were looking for a place to eat. I saw this restaurant on Yelp and it was rated quite well IMO. They were doing roadwork downtown so we just decided to park and walk to Hubhaus. I was a little thrown by the ordering process but it's a lot like many fast food restaurants these days to where you order at a kiosk and in their case text you when your order is ready. I ordered the pork schnitzel sandwich with onion rings and a root beer which is made in house. Y wife ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. After ordering and paying, we decided to order a beer from the bar. I ordered their house beer, Haus Lager and Janet ordered the Farm Wedding which is a cream ale . They were both fantastic. The house root beer was about the best root beer I've ever had. They texted us about 10-15 minutes after we placed our order. You go and pick up your food and any other drinks you ordered such as a coke. The lady placing the orders up at the window for pick up was fantastic and filled my request for mayonnaise and onion, which I forgot to order originally, with a smile and very quickly. Janet loved the burger and thought it was one of the best she's ever had.. fries were really delicious too. I love a pork tenderloin sandwich and this was pretty close. Crispy and delicious. Onion rings were amazing and some of the best we've ever had. A great place to eat. Great selection of food, beers crafted on site, and great service at the bar and food window. Overall, I gave Hubhaus 5 stars because it is a great addition to the downtown scene. The atmosphere and the prices of food were great. We had the following to eat: 1. Pulled pork sandwich- a must try. A great smoky flavor. 2. Reuben- Not bad. A little light on the meat. 3. Wings- We had BBQ wings. They were just ok. Nothing to write home about. We're going to try the zesty buffalo next time. 4. Onion rings- Very good and thick. We took some home to put on our burgers that we are making for dinner tonight. Beer: Good tasting beer, but a little pricey at $7 for 16 ounces. However, the food was priced right, so maybe this is where they are going to make their $$. The bar staff could be a little more attentive, like clean dirty tables instead of playing on the phones and chatting to each other. Overall, this is a new restaurant and they will learn and grow. I have been several times and it NEVER disappoints. If you are looking for laughter, memories, socializing, fun with family and friends ... this is your place! I love the atmosphere here! Lots of parking close by and easy to get to without walking across a busy road. Very family friendly. My kids played games and enjoyed the couches while we waited for food. There are games indoors and outdoors. They have the cutest photo booth! The food was SO good. My kids are picky eaters and when they saw the peanut butter and jelly on the kids menu, they were SUPER excited. The service staff is so friendly and top notch. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners of this establishment. And I could taste the pride and joy they put in their brews. I had the Mexican lager and it was corona with class. The citrus nodes added a light and refreshing finish on a warm summer night. But the cream ale was an easy sip that was rich yet light. It tasted like having a low calorie milkshake. I was talking to a guy in the humidor at Liquor Barn, and he mentioned he was in town for the opening of Hub Haus, and he recommended we check it out. I cannot express emphatically enough how much you are missing out if you do not go to Hub Haus. As a long time consumer of all things meat based, I can tell you that hands down they have the best brisket sandwich I have had in my 46 years on this earth. The sweet potato fries with the marshmallow dip is enough to return childhood memories so deeply buried that they bring a grown man to tears, returning him to a simpler time when everything was a new experience. I liked the concept of this place. We went there for lunch, it wasn't very busy, but the staff was slow. You have to order at a kiosk that only takes credit cards. I ordered a steak and cheese that was overcooked and dry. The fries were cold. My husband ordered the brisket burger and was not impressed. Food is great when you finally get it. Nice ambience and their beer is good. It is just so slow. Took 37 minutes to get a dang salad and it was a slow Tuesday night. Bar staff are slow and seem uninspired to serve ya beer. Not a fan of the two food ordering kiosks either, especially when there are technology challenged folks trying to order. Mobile ordering has not been available either time I've been there, even though there are QR codes everywhere to drive you to a disabled mobile ordering system. Kitchen staff don't always hit whatever button they need to press in order to send the text to let ya know your order is ready. 37 minutes waiting for my order I lost count of how many folks said they didn't get a text when they wandered up to see if their food was close to being ready. Food sat on the counter for countless minutes. Now it is new and I'm sure they're still working out the kinks, but they gotta figure out how to speed things up and this place will be awesome! read more
