Pricey. Small food portions. I am a BBQ lover. I'd go with with swadleys or billy Sims any day. Also order was incomplete.

Smoked meatloaf (the Thursday lunch special) with potato salad and some fantastic fried okra.

Had an above average BBQ lunch at Blaze's, which is in the shopping center on the corner of Van Buren and Willow. I was greeted immediately by the hostess when I arrived. Blaze's has daily lunch specials. For $7, you get a drink, a side, and the special of the day. We ate at Blaze's on a Thursday, so the special was smoked meatloaf. It's rare that I pass up a meatloaf, so that's what I had. I went with fried okra for my side, and added a side of potato salad. My companion had ribs. The meatloaf is good, but it didn't blow me away. It's a standard beef meatloaf with onions and typical spices, topped with a thin layer of ketchup. I got some smoke, but not a lot. I'd say it was a good basic meatloaf. The sides were great, the fried okra is some of the best I've had in a long time. First of all, you get quite a lot. Second, the breading is thin, which is necessary with okra. Too many places coat their okra in breading so thick you might as well not have the okra. This breading is thin, and it's seasoned well. Great example of this dish. The potato salad is homemade at Blaze's. It's also seasoned well, but mine was a little too salty. Not so salty that I wouldn't order it again, but it was definitely too much. Otherwise, it was a fine potato salad. I also tried a rib, which was appropriately tender and released from the bone easily. There is a dry rub which is good, but they are great with the sauce. Blaze's has mild sauce at the table, and you can ask for hot. The hot sauce actually has some heat, and is classic ketchup based sauce. Well above average sauce. Service was great, I was asked several times about a refill or if I needed anything. I received my food very quickly and received my check timely. They do a quick lunch at Blaze's, and it's good as well. I'll return.

Some of the worst brisket we've ever encountered. Hotlinks we're dry as jerky. Bread was stale enough that toasting didn't save it.

But this place completely surprised me. I decided to keep it simple and ordered the single meat plate with pulled pork, mac and cheese, and fried okra for $18.99. The pulled pork was tender, smoky, and flavorful, pairing perfectly with their selection of sauces -- each one adding its own personality without overpowering the meat. The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, while the fried okra had that perfect crispy bite without being greasy. They also offer 2-, 3-, and 4-meat combo plates for those who want to sample a little bit of everything. But my favorite surprise of the night? The turkey club spud. This wasn't just a baked potato -- it was a perfectly cooked, fluffy spud stuffed to the hilt with turkey, bacon, cheese, and all the right fixings. Every bite was indulgent and satisfying. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, with a staff that seemed genuinely happy to be there. It's the kind of place where you feel comfortable lingering a bit longer after your meal. All in all, Rib Crib turned my skepticism into a full-on craving. I plan on coming back the next time I'm in the area -- and maybe going for that 3-meat plate.

I truly was not expecting this experience -- and wow, was I blown away…read more I had the Salmon Siciliano, and it was hands down one of the best meals I've ever had. The lemon butter white wine sauce was absolutely perfect, layered with mushrooms, artichokes, and capers that complemented the dish beautifully. The salmon itself was cooked flawlessly tender, fresh, and full of flavor. Even the bread served alongside the meal was spot on and completed the experience. The service was top notch. It genuinely felt like fine dining, which completely surprised me since I walked in expecting a quick meal at a regular restaurant. This place is truly a hidden gem. The gentleman who served us was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. He explained each entrée in detail, including the ingredients and what flavors stand out, which made the experience feel thoughtful and personal. You can tell he truly cares about the food and the guests. We finished with the lemon dessert. We originally ordered it to go, but it looked so good we couldn't resist trying it there and I'm so glad we did. This is a meal and service I won't forget. If you're in Enid, this place is an absolute must.
