I went to blend and bright to get a scalp massage and it was everything I could have imagined and more! I don't dye my hair anymore, so this is worth the money for me to do a scalp treatment and keep my hair looking amazing. I enjoyed that it was a "spa experience" where they have you wear a robe and you sit in a waiting room with a foot massager and a nice warm towel under your neck. Then they let you see your scalp under a microscope video camera which is insane!! But I liked that because you got to see a before and after. You choose your scent for the experience, and the treatment itself was amazing. Scalp massage, water wash, something over your eyes to relax, a blanket, and it's soo comfortable!! I recently learned that Blend and Bright offered 'Scalp Facials' and booked my appointment so fast. I've been waiting for this service to come to the DSM metro area. I booked my appointment with Shelbie and it was great from start to finish. I felt like my scalp needed a good cleanse but also loved the idea of a '1 hour head massage'. It's much more than just a head massage as different treatments and steam is used but it was the most relaxing hour I've had in a long time. I'll be booking again for sure! read more

Had my colors done last winter and was looking to find a salon or a colorist who was familiar with House of Colours' concept. I wasn't able to find anyone in my area but found a whole salon in my hometown that not only offers hair services but does color and style consultations and sells HOC makeup! Genius!!! If you're local, check them out. If you are not local, then still check them out! I drive 4 hours round trip to see them because they are that great, it is worth the trip. read more
