After countless hack jobs at the quick and cheap barbers, I decided to step up my game and go somewhere with a little more class for an upcoming family wedding. After some research I decided to set my appointment with Blake. It was immediately made clear that his attention to detail was far better than possibly anyone I've ever had cut my hair. It was a pleasant surprise. I also had him trim my beard, which I generally take care of myself, and he did a fantastic job with that, as well. John fixed my hair when I had it in absolute messed up form. Months of going to different hair stylists had my hair going every which way but the right way. Immediately, John had a solution which worked for my hair which didn't involve a buzz cut. Amen to that. Upon arrival in their space within the Sola Salons building, water or beer was offered. Gone were my college days and so I chose the former. Haircuts did not feel rushed at all. 45 minute appointment times meant John spends an ample amount of time to get your hair just right. Other places will speed through the process to get the next customer in quickly. Through small-talk conversation, you could tell John knew his stuff. He even went on to educate me about how much more hours of experience a cosmetologist receives vs. your standard Supercuts barber/hair stylist. That extra experiences shows in his work which you could view on Blend's Facebook or John's Instagram. A shampoo after the cut followed by expert styling left me feeling as sharp as ever. A lot of compliments at home and at work never hurt anyone as well! Since moving to Las Vegas, from West Hollywood, I have been to four different salons, and stylists. I am REALLY picky about my hair, and get super pissed when it is not done right ... I have NEVER had an issue with these guys. John and Blake are really talented, and nail it every time (it also doesnt hurt that they are charmers, and easy on the eyes). The ambiance of the place is really nice, and all of them are super chill. Very chill atmosphere in the shop, I would let anyone of those guys cut my hair. My specific barber is John Lloyd. These guys know what they're doing! I usually let my wife cut my hair and I would go to another place on the strip to get it shaped on occasion. After my haircut today I think this is my new place! Very relaxed atmosphere and they offered me the complimentary craft beer right when I walked in. (Great beers to choose from but I'm there for a hair cut so I wanted to pay attention to the cut.) I went here a couple of weeks ago and it was great. I was recommended to check out this Barbershop and to request John. I looked John up and booked online and it was really easy and convenient, having previously gone to SportClips and never being able to make an appointment. Walking into the studio, at first, was a little awkward, only because it's not what I expected out of a typical Barbershop. It was a little smaller than ones I have been to in the past and when I walked in I felt like I was the center of attention. However, the other two Barbers and John quickly made it comfortable and welcoming. They also played Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which made the entire experience better for obvious reasons. Unlike some other places I have been, there was not a strong odor from any type of hairspray, styling product or shampoo in the studio. It was also very clean. Once you are in the chair it's all about your hair and the style you want. I wasn't exactly sure if I was going to keep the same look or change it up. However, John made sure that I not only left with a great haircut, but that my hair was going to grow properly for the future. Overall, I will say Blend is the best Barbershop I have been to and I will continue to go back and recommend it to all of my friends. read more

The environment is hella laid back and really clean. I always get my haircut with John and he's extremely professional and his cuts are always on point. Found him through Instagram and have never had an issue. Always on time, delivers on what I want, and just the overall barber experience has been the best. I live polar opposite of where Blend is located but when you find a great barber, it's worth it. My first experience with hot towel service, beverages offered, and wash/style included. Got my haircut here a couple more times with Blake since my first review and my rating still sticks! They moved into a new spot in The District at the Green Valley Ranch, which is definitely an upgrade from before. Because of that, they also upped their price from $25 to $30. Not complaining, as $30 is a steal from the great service you get from Blake and his team. Here's a tip: if you have no idea what you want to do with your hair, don't be afraid to let them know! Discovered Blend and had my first cut with Blake in mid-December. Just had my second cut yesterday and wanted to wait to write this review. Quick and easy: shop is intimate and modern, all 3 barbers are chill and down to earth, and they offer a drink during your visit! While waiting, I can definitely tell that the barbers cut with diligence, care, and really listened to the client. That continued with Blake, for me personally. He took his time in achieving what I asked for and continually kept me engaged, asking if I liked what he was doing. John was the lucky guy to tackle my stubborn locks, and after an informative and thorough consultation, he gave me one of the best cuts I've had in years! It was shorter than I'm used to, but I've been getting nothing but compliments from friends and coworkers. Trust that you'll be in good hands. Speaking of hands, the mini-scalp massage that comes with your shampoo is uh-maze-zing. It's nothing elaborate, but it hits all the right spots. I could literally sit there for hours!
