I stopped by yesterday and was happy with the work. Except when I was made to feel overlooked, unimportant, and distrusting of how business is ran. If appointments are offered, advise the customer online of the time blocks, have all customers check in, and not just the walk-ins and let another person come in, with familiarity with the stylist, have a laugh, and then proceed to walk him to the chair, without acknowledging the people sitting down who have been waiting for some time as the only other stylist has spent a considerate amount of time making a sign that could have been done later. I hope that careful consideration is made by the owner to reach out. implementations that are easy to use, dont cost much, and will provide you with a loyal customer following are a phone call away.

I'm very glad I did. Michael took his time and was genuinely thoughtful throughout the entire appointment. He reviewed photos of hairstyles I had saved on my phone and gave me honest, practical feedback about which styles would work best for my hair type. My hair is thin and straight and had grown down my back before the cut, so that guidance really mattered. The result exceeded my expectations. Michael did a fantastic job shaping and styling my hair, and I couldn't be more pleased. I now have a stylist I trust and look forward to returning and trying some of the salon's other services. While I waited I noticed a sign that said all haircuts were $35. Since all I need is one third of my head trimmed, it would be less. Was prepared to pay full price though. The woman who did the trim seemed to do it fine. She was personable as well. When I asked how much, it was $30. Most expensive trim I've had, always been $20 or less. That's fine, I paid knowing I wouldn't return. The reason I decided to write a review is first, she left in the two Velcro like things to pull my full length hair out of the way. Second, and the worst part, she cut quite a bit of my full length above the undercut. When I took my hair down, there were hundreds of full length strands falling out. I've never had a barber do this. Yes, a few. No one is perfect. This was much more than a few, more like a few hundred. Very disappointing.

He took off a lot of weight, cleaned up the shape, and layered it in a way that actually works with how my hair behaves instead of against it. The result is low-maintenance but still looks put together. The real test? Wind, work, time... and it still looked good hours later. That's a skilled cut. I have longish curly-wavy hair, and it can be challenging to find a stylist who really knows how to work with that kind of hair. Zac does know. He has extensive experience, and it shows. We had an extensive consultation (and Zac had also asked me a number of questions via text prior to our appointment). I wanted some of the length off and to refresh the style, and said that I was open to his ideas. He told me to advance what he was going to do, kept me advised all during the process, ended up taking off about 3 inches and somehow cut it so it looks like I have double the amount of hair I did when I came in. I have never had a better haircut. I have waves and curls that I didn't think I did, it's easy to wash and maintain (he recommended products that he used on me, and I did get them, and they are excellent), and my hair looks good all the time now. Zac also showed me how to use the products, which makes my at home styling much better than it ever was. I'm definitely returning, in fact I have my next visit booked already. She listens when I want to shift to lighter or darker shades. She is always attentive, responsive, professional and personable. Love her! Her sisters work here, too, and there are often bridal parties getting hair and make-up, or families with children. There is a barber at one of the work stations, too. It is such a pleasant, hospitable, family-friendly atmosphere! I love it here.
