Absolutely horrible. I came in to get my two teens cuts as walk ins and they said "we'll be right with you." We waited over an hour and a half before they took one of them. He showed a reference photo and I explained what type of cut he wanted. All of the people they took before us had cuts that took 30-60 minutes. 5 minutes into his cut the girl had an appointment come in and she told him she'd be right with him. She rushed the rest of my son's cut, it was maybe 10 minutes total so she could get to her appointment. She absolutely butchered him. She took off over 3 inches too much off the top and it looks like a bowl cut. We left before they could ruin my other kids hair. Do not come here under any circumstances. read more

Told we were next in line, there was one person in front of us. Were seen last, they took a family of four before us. Waited over an hour for one haircut. They don't take card payments only cash. $30 for a cut. The place is dirty, I don't think a single person knows what a broom is let alone a mop. I have had very few barbers in my life and am a very loyal customer but when my go to barber for the past few years and the shop he works at decided to close on weekends I had to find a new place. It kind of worked out since he is moving out of the country in the near future. My schedule just does not allow time on weekdays to get a haircut. I had been to Joe's before years ago, have had my hair cut by Joe himself, and for that matter so has my grandfather and his brother many years ago. Today (Sunday) I found myself at Joe's and in Noah's chair. I got a great haircut and beard trim. The attention to detail was second to none and he made sure my fade was perfect before I left. I have found my new shop and barber and couldn't be happier. Additionally, there were two other barbers working and both of the haircuts they did while I was there looked great as well! I get my haircut about 2, sometimes 3 times a year because I am not one to pamper myself like most people are when it comes to their heads. Also, as my hair keep falling out permanently, I also don't mind a simple short hair cut for less maintenance in general on my end...so the following review is a slightly biased & subjective to whoever reads...all comments that I make should be taken with a grain of salt, and your hair will always be your hair: so choose where you go cautiously as all consumers of products/services should. With that being said... I like Joe's for their old school way of doing things. Cash only, straight edge shaving around the neckline, and a lollipop for the kiddos when they're done cutting your hair. I think when people complain about the service, they have to realize that in an "old school" barbershop, when you wait for the person that does the best job cutting hair for you, you wait for that person. You may not have all the time in the world, but that's how it goes. If you're on a limited schedule for the day, go somewhere where they take you in by appointment and make sure you show up on time bc they will definitely skip over you for another paying customer. Joe's doesn't take appointments, but they do have their favorites and for that reason, the wait can be anywhere from a half hour, to as long as 3 hours. Yes, i've had to wait that long...and again, I had time to kill that day, so i didn't mind. Bring a book, play on your phone, and bring your charger/powerbank battery, bc it may take a while. All the stylists there take pride in what they do. I've personally never had a bad experience there in the 20+ years I've been going there...and they all are good stylists that treat their customers with respect. The location is super easy to find...and it may be pricey for some people, but again, I don't go often, so $20 + tip isn't a bad thing. Had a haircut today from one of the barbers named Daniel. For starters he smelled like he had just finished smoking weed as soon as I sat down (This was at 9am). I asked for a mid drop fade and left with multiple hard lines all over my head accompanied by bald spots from the machine. Idk if Joe's barbershop is just hiring anyone off the streets now, but I hope they reevaluate their barbers. I'll most likely wear a hat all week to cover up the cut. read more

If you're looking for an old school barber shop, where they try to shoot the shit with you, while cleaning you up with straight razors this is the one. Joe is the owner and one of the many barbers here. He welcomes all veterans here! Been coming here a good amount of times when I'm need of a clean, on-point fade. The barbers here are very skilled and professional. They have comfortable barber chairs and actually lean you back to shave you a straight razor is asked. They have a waiting area where you wait to be called next. I always bring cash to tip the barbers, so I'm not too sure if they take credit/debit. The parking is limited out front, but they have a dirt lot next door that you can use. It's located off HWY 111. They also sell drinks and hair care products here. Try avoiding Fridays since that's their primetime hours haha made that mistake a few times. Every time I leave this place I have that fresh, barber shop cut scent on me. Overall, 4 stars because it's in need of a touch up on the dirt parking lot and waiting area. Highly recommend if you want great barbers cleaning you up! read more

I had my haircut yesterday morning and I have to say I'm not happy because I have go get it re-cut today. I wasted 20. Plus tip. Be careful and check you hair very well before you leave. They know the difference between "high and tight" and just a buzz. 5 or 6 chairs full on the Fri morning that I visited, but I was seated within 10min. $14 is more than I pay back home, but it was worth it.
