Hear No Evil*See No Evil*Speak No Evil Hood said he planned on being there a long time, but he's apparently gone already, as so many before him. Could've seen that coming from a million miles away. By the way, Cornerstone had my first review taken down, as I now suspect many other critical reviews have been. Cornerstone has had some amazing people, Mr Harrison, Mr Puente, Mrs Puente (God rest her soul), Mr Hudspeth, Mr Sessions, Coach Navarrete, Mrs Ruvalcaba, and others, but the administration changes constantly! The big secret is, untouchable families, who do whatever they want, whenever they want, however they want; many are athletes and staff from the church and school. Shouldn't be that way, but we experienced it over & over. So, we left. Many others have left for the same reasons. A friend living near the school took their kids out because the administration wouldn't deal with the untouchables harassing their child who's on the spectrum. They told us 3 other families -on-their-street- left also. Cornerstone should be training up a righteous generation, but instead they're just coddling untouchables. Sad... Change must come from the top. We can only hope & pray.

As a parent who invested more than 10 years with multiple children at SACS, I cannot recommend the school today primarily for three reasons. First, tuition has increased significantly in recent years, yet the quality of education has not kept pace. While there are still pockets of excellent teachers who truly love their students and inspire them, these are the exception rather than the rule. For the tuition and additional fees being charged, the academics and overall experience simply do not measure up. Second, the administration is inconsistent, plays favorites and encourages gender discrimination. Certain families and students receive preferential treatment, while others are held to a different standard. Additionally, certain events are marketed based on gender, intentionally excluding the opposite gender. Instead of upholding fairness, the administration regularly chooses self preservation, politics and favoritism. Third, SACS does not partner with parents. Although the school claims it values collaboration, the reality is when parents raise legitimate concerns or attempt to hold leadership accountable, they are quickly silenced. There has been incidents of misconduct by staff towards students as well as sexual harassment claims against a high level administrative staff member, and in all circumstances, claims have been swept under the rug. Staff members that challenge decisions are fired. Families who question decisions or speak out are often placed on a "blacklist". Families, including those with children in good academic and behavioral standing, are prevented from re-enrolling or denied readmission. The message is clear: conform and be silent or get out. In short, SACS today reflects hypocrisy rather than true Christian values. The school promotes itself as providing a faith-based, high-quality education, but the reality is very different. Tuition is too high for what families actually receive, the environment is political and unfair, and the administration does not respect parents as partners in their children's education. If you are considering enrolling your child at SACS, my advice is to look elsewhere. Save your money for a school that offers genuine Christian values, quality academics, integrity, and displays respect for both students and their families.

Not only that, but the boys get away with everything. we have a uniform at our school, which consist of a polo and either khaki or navy blue pants/skirts. The boys often show up in khaki sweatpants/navy blue sweatpants or not even Antonian outerwear or polos. But the girls are sent to the office every day for the length of our skirts. The teachers always say they aren't looking at the girls in a provocative way, but they never seem to notice how the boys in our class. I was once told that my skirt was too short and I was gifted in many areas. He was talking about my butt. This was teacher. The boys also Wear extremely extremely tight pants and extremely tight shirts. I can see everything and yet my boobs being too big for my shirt is a problem. we are constantly being told to cover up for our bodies and that we are more than what we wear, but then we are constantly yelled at and made fun of by the faculty. I find this funny because it is the boys who are sneaking off into the bathrooms and doing weed. Our principal is more concerned with what is in our hair than the boys smoking and doing weed in the school bathroom. 2. expressing yourself. at Antonian College preparatory high school you must fit in with everybody else. You cannot wear whatever earrings you want or do whatever you want with your hair because it could be too distracting for the students around you. Over the years, they have become more concerned over what type of shoes you are wearing rather than being concerned with the fact that almost half of the senior class not graduate. This school is more concerned about their image than their actual students. They do not care about you. 3. their image and rule following. When I was a sophomore I got sent to the mental hospital. I had a lot of work to make up and it was just a very stressful time for me. The teachers did not care. they were more concerned about the criteria that has been established. if I was overworked and I didn't have time to make up a quiz it would be a zero. overall, the teachers just did not care. They just wanted a paycheck. The teachers take the rules to seriously. Now I know following the rules is important, but sometimes you have to break these rules. if you need to go use the restrooms during advisory, you are considered absent. I once saw my advisory teacher tell a student to go grab something from their backpack. The bell rang and she locked the door on him and told him to get a tardy pass. 4. Did I mention sexism? The sexism in the school is extremely aggravating and disheartening. The boys are constantly praised for doing things the exact same way the girls do. There have been instances where students are having sex in the bathroom and it is only the girl that gets in trouble. I have heard too many instances of the boys getting away (with maybe a detention) but the girls are constantly made fun of and watched upon by the staff. The boys in my class are often playing games and being on their phones while the girls get in trouble for talking. i'm not saying the boys don't get sexist remarks too, because they do. The boys constantly have to do hard labor while the girls just get to sit back and relax. Or, the boys will be asked inappropriate questions about boyhood and it will be seen as a joke. I think these are outdated ideas that are negatively influencing the ideas of young men and women. I could probably write another essay about how awful the school has become and how unbearable it is to go to. And if I feel the need to, I will write another review because I want this School to change for the better.
