Blessing Thai was a delightful find. The food was averagely priced for the type of restaurant. They were accommodating to a unique allergy in our party. They had a very polite wait staff. Appetizers came out very quickly and were delicious! Food took a bit longer to come out, but was pretty tasty. Wished they had filled waters/drinks a few more times than they did! My husband and I went for lunch. I had the Thai red curry & he had chicken cashew. We loved both! Haven't had great red curry since we left Portland OR almost 8 yrs ago! This was very tasty, just wish it had carrot, maybe some eggplant. It is on the thin side but I just put all my rice in the bowl with the curry and chow down! They will ask what level of heat you would like...1st time I said medium, wow! Ate some, took most home, made more rice to dilute it. So if you like it spicy that's it. 2nd time I said 3, better, just have a Kleenex handy! LOL my husband had chicken cashew & he loved it. 2nd time he had the red curry also but he said 5! He looked in distress! LOL but he loved it. We also had the salad rolls without the shrimp. They come with a tasty peanut sauce! (It doesn't look like creamy pb) the people are very friendly. Lincoln is lacking in the Thai department, so it's difficult to find a place that is affordable but also delicious. I just ordered from Blessing and I wasn't too crazy about it. I ordered the chicken Panang curry and there was one small piece of chicken in the curry. The chicken satay was dry and in total I spent almost 20 bucks on the whole meal. For what it was worth, it wasn't very good. If you're really wanting thai, you're going to have to take what you can get without going to Blue Orchid. I wouldn't suggest it, but make your own decision and try it out. read more

We absolutely love Blessing Thai! It's our go-to restaurant. Our favorite is Tom Kha Soup with shrimp and Chicken Pad Thai.

This place needs help desperately. Though some of the flavors are good, the stir fry need to be priced 2-3 dollars less or be 50% larger. They are overpriced for the portions you get unless you get one of their overly sweet curries. No music, weird wires coming out of the ceiling and very little assistance with the menu was given. Saying something is in a special sauce with some veggies is not an accurate description of what you get. They need a translator to help them remake their menu, this is the biggest issue. You have very little idea of what you're ordering. The pork in my mystery meal was so hard... I've had softer beef jerky. The soup is nasty and the egg rolls were crunchy but flavorless, filled with silver noodles only, there was no internal texture, and the sauce needs a touch of acid. My partners meal had exactly three shrimp in it. Not a good value for ten bucks. They have no lunch specials. No alcohol and the tea was weak. One bag for an entire pot of water. Wonderful restaurant ! I'm excited to have a great Thai place in town. Went with a group of 5, ordered 3 appetizers and 5 entrees. Everyone was super happy withntjeor choices. I'll pass on the apps next time as the entrees are large and definitely the star. You can request your own level of spiciness on a scale of 1-10, which I love. My sister ordered Khao Soi (Thai Curry soup) and it was my favorite thing of the night. Husband had dried sukiyaki which was also amazing. I ordered pad Thai and it was by far the best I've had. I didn't try my brothers red curry but he ordered it on a spice level 6 and said it was really good. Our friend got Thai Rah Na, also very good. Service was fast and friendly and though the atmosphere isn't anything exciting, it's very clean and comfortable . I really wanted to like this place more than I did. The wait staff were extremely friendly, polite and efficient. The restaurant and the toilet were very clean. The toilet however, needs to have the paper towel dispenser either filled or repaired as it wasn't working Saturday. The toilet lid is also broken, bad news for the ladies. I ordered the Panang curry at a heat level of 6, and my wife ordered the red curry with basil, at a heat level of 3. We also ordered the chicken skewers as an appetizer. The chicken skewers came with a peanut satay sauce that was pretty bland. No heat, not much flavor other than the chopped peanuts in it. The chicken was good, nice and tender. But the curries, that's where it went wrong. Both curries tasted exactly the same, with the only difference being basil in my wife's "red" curry. Both were slightly yellowish orange, with very few vegetables or meat in them. I had chicken, and there were 3 small pieces of green bell pepper, 1 small piece of red bell pepper, and about 4 small pieces of chicken. The rest was about 6 baby corns. My wife got a whopping 3 bait sized shrimp in her curry. This in what essentially was soup, not curry. Curry should be a sauce not a broth. So we both paid 10 bucks a piece for a watery bowl of soup. I'm not sure I'll go back. They're going to have to really step up their game flavor and content wise. read more

We went in and ordered carryout. We got the fried beef meatballs which were delicious! Chicken pad Thai, which was pretty good. Not my favorite Pad Thai I've ever had, but it was still really good! I would probably order it more spicy next time with extra sauce! The second entree we got was the Dried Sukiyaki, this dish was excellent! My husband and I were fighting over who got that one (even though we shared both entrees). Seriously delicious! Overall, the food was exceptionally good and reasonably priced! Blessings Thai is by far the most authentic Thai food you will find in Lincoln. We ordered the Spring Roll and Egg Roll appetizers. They were around 3.99, which was reasonably priced and the dipping sauce tasted very authentic and good (not just a peanut sauce out of a skippy jar)! Then we ordered the Panang Curry (7.99) and Pad Kee Mao (8 ish). We asked for the Curry to be a bit spicy and were not disappointed. I love spicy food and was nearly crying by the end. The rice was also delicious. My partner's Pad Kee Mao was spicy as well with deep flavors. The portion sizes were generous. We also ordered a Thai Iced Tea at the end, which was the only forgettable part of the meal, mostly because it was too sweet. Overall, the price was quite reasonable and the food was very authentic and tasty! I highly recommend trying this place out. read more

The menu stated a choice of beef or chicken. Thin slices of meat. The description also states meatballs. I am celiac and I tried to clarify. It did not work. The soup still can out with meatballs. As you come in through the doors, the place is clean with simple decor. You are greeted by a friendly staff who will seat you immediately either on center tables or side booths. There's definitely signs that this establishment is fairly new! However, don't let this stop you from checking it out. For being new, it has a good selection & a wide variety of authentic dishes to choose from! From starters, to soups & salads, to noodle dishes, to curries, to specialties and even a variety of rice dishes!! Of course, if you still have room..don't forget to try some Thai favorite desserts. Blessing Thai is the best Thai food in Lincoln hands down. Their peanut sauce is the greatest sauce. The wait staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. I love the owner, Mary as she always comes out and greets me as I order the Larb salad consistently. I eat here at least a couple times a month and have brought with me several people who are not familiar with Thai cuisine. Recently I have been very disappointed because the portion sizes have decreased almost by half and it is more expensive...doesn't make sense! "We ran out of the big containers" is a questionable answer when you are charging the same price as what I have gotten in the past. I ordered beef pad thai and shrimp pad thai along with egg rolls to go, the food came out quickly and was fantastic. The portions were very generous with plenty left over after we were full to save for tomorrow.
