I came in, and those are a huge line. It's a whole high school basketball team in front of me... But I waited to get a good sandwich. I ordered my sandwich, the girl that started and put the meat on super friendly. I asked for the normal toppings and add pickles. The lettuce it was put on was white brown really nasty. I always recommend picklemans. Whenever my husband and I do come back home from Florida we go there to get pizza and sandwiches. I usually get the #1 or the #2 and add whatever I would like. He really likes the buffalo chicken pizza. Everyone in there is always super nice and works quickly. Sometimes when we go in it's slow, but when schools starts back up or on game days it can be busier. They get the line down pretty quick. There is plenty of seating and it is very laid back. Had a bite here with a buddy a couple weeks ago. Right on the corner of O and Centennial Mall. The workers were nice and helpful as they helped me order since it was my first time there. They have a pretty nice menu to choose from and the sandwiches have a ton of different toppings to choose from which is nice. Inside is a colorful environment with music and lots of open space. Terrible. Sandwiches are small. If the sandwich comes with bacon they only give you one piece instead of the normal 2 pieces. Server threw together sandwich with no care. Ingredients falling off bread. Manager was rude. And they don't have any meal options. If you want to add chips and a drink it's another 6 dollars. Portions are small and prices are ridiculous. Fright off campus, really nice staff and saw them cutting all their own cheese and meats, not prepackaged. We tried the Hodge Podge and Chicken Giardiniera sammiches among with the avo-Cobb salad, and they were all great! My husband has previously had the chipotle chicken sandwich and he liked that one too. The bread is perfectly toasted, slightly chewy yet still soft, and a great base to the warm meats, melty cheeses, and tasty dressings. The avo-Cobb salad was fresh and tasty. It comes with ranch dressing and I tossed mine with that plus a side of honey mustard, which is my favorite way to dress a Cobb! Pickles are $1, but if you're in a splurgy mood I'd say get one because they're crunchy and delicious! Pickleman's is kind of pricey, but for the quality and the variety it's definitely a great lunch spot! PS They also do catering, but my experience with that last year was less than ideal (difficult to get a hold of the catering contact, unreturned messages and emails, incomplete emails...) so this year I did not choose to order from there for my event. If I had a dollar for every time they messed up my to go order I would have $5. Which doesn't seem like a lot, but is frustrating. They have forgotten items (chips and/pickle) a few times and twice have given me the wrong sandwich. They staple their to go bags shut, I guess now I know why. Then there was the time I ordered ahead, arrived 30 minutes after my order and then stood there for another 25 minutes waiting for them to make my order.
