Instead of responding to my review on Facebook, Meldora decided to remove the Review tab from her business page.

Meldora thank you for the quick response to the Yelp review. It is very unfortunate that you were not that quick to respond to me on Facebook. But instead you chose to remove the Reviews tab from your Facebook business page. You never approached me to assist me with trying on the dress. I asked for your assistance and then you left because I was on a Facetime Call with my friend getting her opinion of the dress. You never returned to assist me. Also if you were unable to take my call, you could have asked to get my phone number to return my call. It is very unfortunate that you would fabricate your response because you know you dropped the ball when you yelled across the room. Your lack of customer service service is what offends me the most! _____________________________________________________________________________ I visited the Bleu Hanger on Saturday, May 8th 2021 and will never return!! I had a horrible first impression of this business and the owner Mel. I called the store to let the owner know I would come by to look at dress I saw on their IG page. I told her my name and she said that the only way I could secure the dress is to pay over the phone. I told her that I needed to try it on and I would just call when I am on my way to make sure the dress was still available. So when I arrived, I was greeted by Mel and let her know that I had called about the dress and was here to try it on. While I was in the fitting room trying on a dress, I overheard Mel telling a customer that the dress I was trying on was the last size Large in the store. To my surprise she yelled across the room to me, "Are you going to get that dress. I have a customer who wants to try it on." I was shocked and caught off guard because I still had the dress on. I responded I am considering it. She then said no rush. I felt as though my business was not wanted or I needed to make a decision quickly so she could get a sale. I took the dress off and walked it over to the inquiring customer, since I felt that it was who Mel wanted to have the dress. When I left the store, I decided to call on the phone so I could express my concern. A man answered the phone and I asked to speak to Mel. He asked my name and then he told me to hold on. But after being left on hold for over 3 minutes, I hung up and went to the business FB page and left a review. I now wished that I would have checked out the reviews on Yelp, so I have would have saved a trip.

Horrible. The little shop of horror, in downtown Decatur. The manager/ owner is up your butt until you want and exchange or refund. Then the beast from within comes out. Dont waste your money or time in this store. The clothes are not made well, the materials are cheap and thin.

I've spent quite a few weekends there taking everything from sewing and flower arranging to candle making, and every single class has been a joyful experience. There's something refreshing about stepping away from a screen and actually making something with your hands. The boutique side is just as great--it's packed with unique, high-quality gifts from local makers, so you're always finding something one-of-a-kind. Plus, they give you 20% off any purchases on the day you take a class, which makes it nearly impossible to leave empty-handed. If you're looking for a new hobby or just want to support the local creative scene, you really can't beat the vibe here.

It's easy to get lost in here because there is so much amazing stuff to choose from. Jewelry, clothing, food, crafts, soaps, and much more. I found things that I didn't even know I needed in here and I can't wait to go back. I saw some cologne and intention candles that I want. The price of their items range from $4 - $100 for certain things, but from what I saw the value outweighed the price repeatedly. The best part, again, is supporting so many other businesses in one place. Kudos to the owners for having such an awesome vision. There's lots of parking here because they are located off Caroline in that shopping area. Parking is free too. The shop is super organized and Mari greets everyone who comes in. You will leave with something.

The store picks items based on trends, brands, season, what sells well for them, and condition. I love Finders Keepers. I have been consigning with them for about a month now and have sold a ton of stuff. The women who work there have been nothing but friendly and kind to me. When they don't accept an item of mine, it's not an issue. Not every piece of clothing is going to be wanted! I think the prices are really reasonable, especially for very lightly used or even new expensive clothing. I love how they get new clothes in daily so I'm never bored with the selection!

I have been a consigner for a few years. I've had some decent success in unloading some clothing…read more I also sell on Ebay and Poshmark, but just have too much to sell and not enough time, so Finders Keepers fills in when needed. My advice to anyone consigning is - use the website to keep track of your items! I've noticed discrepancies on occasion, but the worst thing that happened to me was when my brand new Dooney & Burke cross body bag was somehow "switched" with an "as is" Dooney & Burke shoulder bag that was almost worthless I noticed this error on line and went to the store the next day and OMG - they went to the back room and pulled out the "as is" shoulder bag - which looked absolutely nothing like the bag I brought in. It was very dirty and basically falling apart and I was surprised that they even accepted this to sell. They corrected the situation, but if I hadn't noticed this by checking on-line, I'm sure that I would have taken a big hit. I still don't understand what happened as the two bags did not look anything like one another. The other thing to do is mark on your calendar when your items expire at the store - so you can pick them up if they don't sell and either donate to the charity of your choice or try to sell elsewhere. As far as the people that work there, some of them are friendly and others not so much. It's really just business in the end, so I don't care so much about some of the strange attitudes and the frequent excuses for not accepting items: we have too much black now - or these are brands we don't take - when they selected the same brands last time I was there and the same brands are hanging on the rack! It's just par for the course when doing business here.
