I really don't understand the bad reviews- If you're a consigner whose items were denied, it's not the fault of the employees. Stop blaming them. The store picks items based on trends, brands, season, what sells well for them, and condition. I love Finders Keepers. I have been consigning with them for about a month now and have sold a ton of stuff. The women who work there have been nothing but friendly and kind to me. When they don't accept an item of mine, it's not an issue. Not every piece of clothing is going to be wanted! I think the prices are really reasonable, especially for very lightly used or even new expensive clothing. I love how they get new clothes in daily so I'm never bored with the selection! read more

Dissatisfaction with recent experience with Finders Keepers. First, this consignment lacks professionalism from the owner to the employees, transparency, and honesty. Finders Keepers use misleading information to promote and sale their inventory. They use questionable authentication services to lie, cheat and steal from consumers/ customers. An item may come back as fake when it's in fact authentic, and an item make comeback as authentic that very well could be fake and the shop refuse to take accountability. If an item comes back fake Finders Keepers will sell it as authentic. Lee Ann Harris, the owner runs and operate a con of a business, by using shady authentication services, stealing or misplacing consignor items and then not taking accountability of her negligent hiring and poor training of employees. I do not recommend this consignment shop unless you want to gamble on purchasing high price knock offs. I have been a consigner for a few years. I've had some decent success in unloading some clothing. I also sell on Ebay and Poshmark, but just have too much to sell and not enough time, so Finders Keepers fills in when needed. My advice to anyone consigning is - use the website to keep track of your items! I've noticed discrepancies on occasion, but the worst thing that happened to me was when my brand new Dooney & Burke cross body bag was somehow "switched" with an "as is" Dooney & Burke shoulder bag that was almost worthless I noticed this error on line and went to the store the next day and OMG - they went to the back room and pulled out the "as is" shoulder bag - which looked absolutely nothing like the bag I brought in. It was very dirty and basically falling apart and I was surprised that they even accepted this to sell. They corrected the situation, but if I hadn't noticed this by checking on-line, I'm sure that I would have taken a big hit. I still don't understand what happened as the two bags did not look anything like one another. The other thing to do is mark on your calendar when your items expire at the store - so you can pick them up if they don't sell and either donate to the charity of your choice or try to sell elsewhere. As far as the people that work there, some of them are friendly and others not so much. It's really just business in the end, so I don't care so much about some of the strange attitudes and the frequent excuses for not accepting items: we have too much black now - or these are brands we don't take - when they selected the same brands last time I was there and the same brands are hanging on the rack! Venue and Atmosphere The store is bright, with a well-curated selection of clothing on the mannequins. Clothing is organized by size, and sale racks are clearly marked. Designer merchandise is behind the counter near the shoes. Also, their dressing rooms are spacious and well lit. I purchased a brand new winter cat, brand new statement blouse, and athlete leggings for under $150. Great deal! Service The workers were polite and helpful. If I could not give any stars that would better represent my recent experience at Finders Keepers. First off - let's call it what it is: USED CLOTHES. But for some reason the people who work here think they are better than you. Some self-imagined caste system is going on for sure. So after losing a ton of weight, there were tons of clothes that I had put together to be sold. I had plenty of items still with tags on them because I bought them while I was gaining weight and once I could actually wear them, they were now too big. Sizes ranged between 4 and 18 with the majority in the 12 column. I brought in the limit in a tough reusable bag as they asked online. I made certain to follow directions (again on their website) and nothing on their list (also online) of what's "not accepted" was in the bag. When I dropped the clothes off at the counter, the clerk explained that they have to have at least 5 items to "open an account" for me. I was told it was okay to go grab a cup of coffee or browse around... I chose to check out their merchandise. Now I'm a thrifter through and through and can spot a good deal. But as I was sorting through clothes in the shop, looking at tags it became clear that this place was not about to let you find a deal. Nothing was under $30 - even the super sale rack was disappointing. After a while, my name was called out. And I could hear the disappointment in the woman's voice across the room - I walked over and she heaved my bag onto the counter, "We're not going to be able to take any of these things," she said as she touched the big bag. Then she pushed a pile of three items my way with a piece of paper on top and said, "We might take these if you take them home, wash them and try again." Wait what? Wash them? Most were brand new clothes and I made sure that everything was washed and ready before bringing in, so they were all clean. I picked one out of the pile and said, "Look it still has tags on it! It's never been worn, how can it be dirty?" She stuck by her condescending judgment and said, "Well you can come back and try again." Who the hell is this person to be looking down their nose at me, so snarky and insulting!? Then I opened the big bag on the counter and looked around inside. I pulled out item after item, each was still neatly folded just as I had placed it in the bag before arriving - she never went through the whole bag! I waved a Theory dress at her - again still with price tags of $250+ - her response, "No." I collected the clothing put into the bag and walked out. Never to return again. Absolute waste of my time and energy and it was very upsetting to be treated like I was lowly scum, something on the bottom of her shoe. May I remind her that while she sits on her imagined perch, high above all who enter her used clothing store, at best she only makes $20 an hour. That is your value, Miss Thang, barely $40,000 a year - less taxes that's $34k or $17/hour, and in my opinion, you are overpaid. Avoid this place! It was at one time a great store... but since the change in ownership, it has lost focus. It's not worth the aggravation to your well-being. And the stuff on their racks is absolutely overpriced. I tried on a couple pairs of shoes that at first interested me but on closer inspection they had stains on them. Another, decent priced pair of Coach loafers had the Coach emblem hanging off about to be lost. Junk, really. Worn, overpriced, junk. Lowest priced blouse I found was missing a button, $40. A cool but very worn and pilled sweatshirt, $50. No. No. No. DO NOT GO HERE to BUY OR SELL. Do not PATRON THESE SNOTTY, RUDE PEOPLE. Go to PoshMark, the RealReal, Rent the Runway - even ThredUp and eBay would be far better to deal with than these ghouls. 1 star - only because I had to give one in order to write a review - READ it as ZERO stars. read more

Actually, could be way better, so I'm not surprised at the 2.8 overall rating. I'm a veteran consigner (consigner and buyer). I've been consigning at Finders Keepers for about 4 years. While I've had some success with authentic high-end labels, I have to brace myself to stay calm every time I go there with items to consign. As other reviewers have noted, there is an air of superiority behind the counter. The demeanor of the staff is unpredictable, from kind polite that often feels disingenuous, to just plain rude. A common reason given for not accepting items is "We have too many jeans", which is true but when you look around the racks are crammed with low-end and unheard-of brand items that are not in great condition, when mine are always high-end brands (eg - Rag and Bone, AG) in perfect condition. Another reason given is they have "too much black", when again they are low-end unheard-of brand not in great condition when mine are high-end brands (eg - Alice & Olivia, Milly, Theory, Vince) and in perfect condition. They refused two Theory Matching Good Wool Blazers and Trousers (black and dark navy), size 10, both unworn with tags! Good Wool can be worn year round. They also refused several pairs of Vince pants and trousers, size 8-10, in perfect condition. And most recently, they refused a pair of Stuart Weitzman black velvet and suede winter sandals with 1-inch heel (retail $400), size 6, worn once and in perfect condition. I checked out their shoes in size 6, which were all clunky, low-end brands except for one pair, and none were in perfect condition. I get it on one level, Finders Keepers is not Neiman Marcus, but that's the point; it's not Neiman Marcus! But, you can offer Neiman Marcus-level clothing at affordable prices (there's a reason people shop at consignment stores) and make money. I suggest you examine your business model, including training your staff, who according to other reviews have given you a reputation for poor customer service. read more

I am so disappointed in my experience with the Boutique. The staff is so uppity that they make you feel like you are not deserving of being in their presence. These are used clothes for consignment, get a grip and loosen up! If these were our best clothes we would not consign them! This boutique is located in the same plaza as Suno and Sarah's donuts. They have a private lot for parking. The store is split into two sides, one side for men and one side for women. The clothes are organized by sizes and types and prices are clearly marked. There are fitting rooms in the back of the store that you can just walk in to try your clothes. I was lucky and came during a weekend where they were doing 30-50% off dresses. I got two dresses for $41 which was reasonable since one of them was from Madewell. I think their prices are a little higher than other thrift stores I've been to, but you can find cute and good quality items here. The staff are also all very friendly. read more

Please apply a layer of thick skin before entering. I've never had such a "put off" attitude from any of staff until I went in today. From the moment I filled out my slip, I could sense, the young lady was feeling a certain type of way. I know it could not have been me because I just stepped foot into the boutique and I was friendly for I've been shopping and consigning here for well over 15 years. About 15 mins into my drop off my name was called. What I was told is something I've never been told before about why my pieces weren't accepted. No issue because I'm accustomed to " no" having done this over the years. BUT! There's a way and a place to say anything that's not positive. I'm a high level manager at my workplace and it would be totally out of line for an employee to speak in the "volume" that I was spoken to and to repeat it over again like I don't understand. I was on a mission to find more work pants as well as a fancy frock for a wedding and figured I would give Finders Keepers a shot. The prices seemed reasonable, and the clothes were all in great shape, no Goodwill smell to be found. The organization of the garments by type, size, and color was super handy. There were even snacks by the chairs facing the dressing rooms so that was a nice touch. The dressing rooms are self-serve so you don't have to ask a staffer to open up a room; I hate locked dressing rooms. I didn't interact with the staff, and no one said hi to me upon entering even though I heard them say hi to some other people. Maybe I just sneaked in stealthily. Unfortunately I left the store empty-handed but I decided that it would be worthwhile to return in the future when there's some new stock mixed in. read more

I love shopping at Finders Keepers! They have such a great selection. It's so hard to shop at the mall after shopping second hand. Half the time it doesn't even feel like secondhand shopping. They have so many items that are new with tags! I got a gorgeous Sea New York dress for under $100 recently. The people who work there are super nice too. I was looking for a dress to wear to a wedding and one girl, I don't remember her name. She always has on a cool outfit with fun colors. She went through the racks pulling stuff that she thought might work. I didn't find anything on that day but I really appreciated how enthusiastic she was to help me find what I was looking for. I still got a cute pair of flare jeans. They always have a lot of Anthropologie labels so I go there a lot for those too. This is definitely my favorite clothing store by far. read more

This place has such potential. The staff is so unorganized and don't seem to know what they are doing - except for the dressing room attendant, she was nice and helpful. The room with all of the handbags is a nightmare. I'm a purse hoarder, so when I saw a wall of purses, I got excited. But, then I tried to peruse them and then it started. Look at one, three fall from the hooks, put those up, 2 more fall... And so on. If you are looking for ladies plus sizes, they have a couple of racks- something you do not see everywhere. There was recently a management change here and everyone is so much nicer now! I'm always greeted by the stylish young people working there and if you have a few items in your arms, they'll offer to start a fitting room for you. Of course they all wear masks but it's the kindness and customer service for me. The clothes selection is hit or miss - lots of JCrew, Theory, Vince, Plenty. I am sitting in the parking lot in front of this location. I just entered and went straight to the jewelry counter because I was told they carry a lot of silver. I did see several pieces that I was interested in but the people all made eye contact but noone offered to help. I stood patiently while the male and young female carried on a conversation. The old white lady looked at me but walked off. I was really disappointed in the friend who told me about this place. Had she mentioned the customer service sucks I would not have driven all way over here. They're getting paid to sell someones merchandise but make no attempt. Woman who was working the counter was dismissive and a snob. Rude for no reason when I was just asking a basic question about consignment. Its really they're loss since her rudeness made them lose out on a chance to possibly consign a $2000 Alexander McQueen skirt (unworn with tags) which is more valuable than probably 95% of the merchandise in the store. First, I find it ironic that the director of communication decides to communicate with a dissatisfied customer via Yelp en lieu of calling me. Secondly, the shirt was in the store front on a mannequin but it was under layers of clothing. So there was no way a prospective buyer could see it. I know common sense doesn't grow on trees but I expect a retailer who specializes in selling people's clothes to employ some. I used to shop and consign with this boutique but will never again. This last time they did not take a single thing, from Tory Burch shoes, Kate spade purse, and various designer clothes that were all in almost perfect condition. This has never happened to me before! When I went in the shelves were almost empty (as if they did not accept merchandise from sellers or not as many people want to sell to them anymore). I looked around and the stuff that I brought in was MUCH nicer than what was on the shelves for sale (not sure why they wouldn't take my stuff, especially since the clothes and accessories did not seem to be all that great). I was shocked as I have never seen the store like this before. Perhaps, that is a sign? Not sure. This is the best menswear consignment store in the Atlanta metro, in my opinion. I both consign and shop at this store, so I'll address both. Shopping: Good: I'm consistently impressed with their selection. A $1500 D&G blazer for under $100? Yes, please! I've browsed through their larger-sized clothes (S,M, L, etc.), and they have a pretty good selection! Most of the designer pieces a Finder's Keepers run either Medium or larger from my experience, so you have to be patient and wait if you're a smaller guy, but it's worth it! I've found Prada pants for $30, Armani slacks for $40, and a couple other pieces I really enjoy here. They also have a nice selection of designer ties as well as shoes and accessories. Bad: My only complaint is that there aren't too many sizes that fit me here (x-small), but that's not the store's fault. Consigning: Good: The staff is always pleasant when I visit them, and the clothes that I take (usually brands like Guess and J. Crew) almost always sell, so it's worth my time. They wouldn't take the clothes if they didn't think they could sell them. Be sure to read their consignment policies and brands they accept before taking anything in! Bad: I don't like this 40/50 split in favor of the store for items under $50, but hey: it's more than I'm going to get if I took them to Plato's. Finders Keepers is a Sure Keeper! This place is an awesome place to venture to if you are on a budget and still want some quality in your life, this is an excellent place to get your shop on. While I did not venture in the men's section, I can say the women's section was pretty amazing. I got a lovely J.Crew Silk shirt and a nice Jones New York Cardi. My friend scored a demin military skirt for 10 bucks too! The awesome find was a Tory Burch dress, at only $95! (Sadly, still too expensive for me,but nonetheless, a nice fact to know!) They are lacking on plus sized clothes if you are a big or tall gal. The XL selection was pretty slim, and no plus (1X and beyond). If you are around a size 6 to 10, you are going to make out like a bandit. The purses and jewelry need a little bit more pizazz as well. Nothing really jumped out to me. My check out experience was lovely. I cannot wait to come back. If I was a local, I would so sign up for their email list. They will email you when there are sales and new items in store! read more

I'm 16, and my clothes budget is far below your average grown woman, but I still manage to find things that I love... and can actually buy. Yes, the vast majority of merchandise they have, is between slightly out of my budget, to "wow I wish someday I could buy think about buying something that expensive", but that doesn't mean that you can't find a lil something. My strategy is to look for some of the brands that are nice enough for them to carry, but not nice enough to trade my first born child for. These good, but not amazing brands, are where I find the best deals. Almost everything they carry is cute and in style. The ladies behind the counter seem to have good taste usually, but that also means that if you are trying to sell stuff, you should except a picky audience. The stuff they buy is normally in pretty good condition (but I do find that they will buy some designer stuff that's kinda rough because it's designer). This was my first time since they remodeled and added the men's side, and if you haven't been, it's really nice. It's bigger, but just as nice. They are still a fairly small shop, so it would be hard to go looking for a particular item, but if you like designer, and have the cash, you will find some really good deals here, and some unique pieces. read more

I have been a customer for over 15yr plus. I like the new look. What I don't like is the new culture. Clothing is way overpriced. I was in the store during the "Grand Opening" when i heard several customers say that they could find cheaper stuff at better prices at Macy's , TJMaxx, and the Realreal luxury consignment. FK should have more transparency with their consignors. For example if you check your account you should be able to see what your clothes would sell for if sold in 30/60/90 increments like other consignment stores. This simple excel column would build trust with clients. Ensuring that clients know what they should expect for payouts during the time frame that their items are sold. I noticed what the retail price for a item is listed on your account but could not find final sold prices or complete acct history after a certain period of time. The pricing is subjective at best. So you could consign 1000.00 plus merchandise and wind up with 60.00 dollars. There has been a noticeable change in climate since Bonnie sold the store , she told me the company was in good hands and would have the same warm feeling of community. Sorry Bonnie , you were wrong but hey business is business that's why I'm gonna have to take mine somewhere else. Finders keepers can be compared to housing Market in Atlanta, they have outpriced the average consumer and their Market is only for the well off. read more

Spent about 15 minutes looking at the merchandise for sale, while the condescending staff examined the shoes I brought in for consignment. I only saw one appealing item, which was overpriced and neither great quality nor a designer item. I have very good shoes I can no longer use because of a foot problem, some never worn. But their requirements for "first-time" consignees are unreasonable: flawless; must have 25 items, a requirement would about wipe out my closet, I'm afraid. I'll never return to this snooty place. Saks Fifth Avenue has good sales, and TJ Maxx/Marshalls has good designer clothes at reasonable prices. read more

The unhelpful woman who is always there, a thin older blonde, is enough to keep me from going here. There were 4-5 employees that I saw. One was working on the floor, 3 standing around with an occasional customer to wait on. Meanwhile, I'm waiting for my items to be checked. They are hanging in the corner and no one is paying any attention. Finally after 20-25 minutes waiting, a guy asks if he can help me. I tell him I'm still waiting, and he checks my things. Add 10 more minutes. It's obvious the consignors are not important at all to this manager. No professionalism. No thanks. read more

The prices are very close to what you'd pay new if these items were on sale. That is, if you find anything you'd actually want. If you're thinking of consigning with them, save your time and go elsewhere unless you fit their demographic of 55 year old women with a love sequins, lace and zippers. I came in with 10 pieces (6 of which still had tags) from top brands like Theory, Ann Taylor and Kate Spade and was told based on the brands, they would do better at their other store. I stumbled in here with some friends when we were getting some lunch next door. While there is a decent selection, it is just like any other consignment store. However, the attitude of the employee at the cash register is absolutely horrendous. The girl I had the misfortune of speaking to was haughty and condescending. My girl friend noted that every thing she said (when we asked some questions) the sales girl would reply in a very pretentious and rude tone. Terrible customer service. Yes, we understand that you guys *direct quote* "only carry high end designer" clothes, but the salesgirl's attitude indicated that the customer service training she received was anything but "high end". At this rate, I would just rather pay some extra cash at an actual designer store for quality customer service. read more
