Asking for the repair of…read morea broken shade, Heather was not only super friendly and customer service oriented, she sent me a YouTube video to show how to take the shade down myself, so I wouldn't have to pay for them to come out to take it down. When I brought the shade to the showroom, I was greeted and listened to and got my questions answered very professionally. Expecting to have to leave the shade for repair, I was pleasantly surprised that the repair was done right there and then and when asking what I owed, I was told that I didn't have to pay anything. I would have been happy to pay for the service. We will go to Classic Window Coverings when we need new shades in the future! Thank you of the great experience!!!

I recently had a minor malfunction with one of my blinds. I called Classic Window Coverings and Dakota was sent out to home to evaluate the malfunction. 3/25/2022 We need to update our review sadly. Having had…read moreShutters in past homes. These just aren't the best Shutters. Todd is absolutely the nicest man. But the Shutters on the bottom aren't in a track. So when we open them their flopping out there on the bottom, where our past Shutters we could open partially, or all the way. That's a lot of stress on the weight of the shutter! Todd was supposed to come back and take care of the bottom half of a set behind our TV that didn't close correctly, he never called or came back. There are reasons we imagine. Which will remain between us. This was a large Shutter job. But they just aren't the quality of Shutters we've had in the past. They do not open and shut easily despite Todd trying to adjust them. He did say he was trying a new supplier. We've also had the ability to use an opener on the outside. With these being cream in color that would have been our preference. The wood piece in the back is stopping the Shutters from closing completely and when trying to open the Shutters stops them from folding open all the way as well. This is our assessment. Hopefully Todd went back to his OLD SUPPLIER! Like they say ~ if it ain't broke don't fix it. We wish him the best of luck. We wish they had turned out better and hold no hard feelings.

The problem came when on delivery when they unwrapped the windows there was a chip in a largest pane and a broken screen on a smaller window. No fault of this installer. They told us that they would arrange for the repair through Milguard's warranty. This was mid-March. Mid-May and we still hadn't heard anything. So we started calling. We were told a few different things each time we called. A manager would call us back- they never did. It was up to Milguard and they had no control- turned out not to be true. I even asked them at that time, if I needed to call Milguard if they could just point me in the right direction, again no returned call. Finally last week (late June) my husband went in person. That day I got an email from Milguard stating the ticket had been created. 3 months and multiple phone calls and they had never even put in the ticket. Once the ticket was put in the screen was ordered and shipped within 2 days through Milguard. If anyone had ever bothered to call us back, we probably could have figured this out the first time we called. And mistakes happen, we would have understood. But being told things that were not true and having no follow up was not acceptable. 5 stars for product and installation. 0 stars for follow up with customer service. Cannot recommend. We had 8 more windows and a slider to replace, needless to say we will look elsewhere.
