After an exhaustive and dead-end search for shutters for my large bedroom window, I discovered Blinds, Etc. It was meant to be! Dennis called right away. Everything went well. The shades exceeded our expectations. The installer was personable, expert, and pretty much available 24/7 to make adjustments. An important take-away is that these folks are offering a house brand of Hunter Douglas. Nevertheless, the house brand seems to be more cutting edge. We especially like the battery arrangement for the motorized shades. You recharge the batteries while leaving the shade in place, just plugging them in to a wall charger once a year or so. And the manual skylight shades move so easily and friction-free! Lastly, window treatment pricing can take your breath away. But working with Blinds, Etc we were able to save serious money (thousands) due not only to lower pricing but the advice that Dennis conveyed. read more

We purchased a brand new Pahlisch home last month and was given a preferred vendor list by the builder. Their preferred window covering company was Budget Blinds. So we set up an appointment with them and went in and received an estimate for all our windows and sliding doors. The estimate seemed high, but I didn't really know what to expect because I have never purchased higher end window coverings before. We almost pulled the trigger and ordered the window coverings based on the relationship Budget Blinds had with our builder. Thank God at the last minute we decide to call one more company to get another estimate. After doing some research and based off the reviews Dennis at Blinds Etc had, we gave him a call. He came out the next day, met us at the home and gave us a ton of options and excellent customer service. He said he would have an estimate to us by the next day. As promised the next day we received his estimate and it was substantially less than Budget Blinds, our builders "preferred" vendor. We went ahead and ordered with Blinds Etc and a few days later I received follow up email from Stacey, the owner of Budget Blinds asking if we had made a decision. At that point, I let her know that Dennis with Blinds Etc's estimate was substantially less than hers, so we ordered with Blinds Etc. She then responded to me with this. Hi Jeff, Thank you for getting back to me. I did not realize you were getting another quote. What product did he sell you? If I would have known you wanted the cheapest shade possible I would have been able to quote accordingly. We do offer price match guarantee as well..I could have found a comparable product and gave you the best pricing with the best warranties. No one can beat our services and 5 year no questions asked warranty! First off, the shades we ended up getting were at least the same quality if not better. Secondly, they come with the same five year no questions asked warranty. Lastly, don't gouge me because you thought we were not getting another estimate and then tell me you will price match. You are the builders preferred vendor, you are getting the lions share of their business because of your relationship with them. You really should be giving your best possible pricing out of the gate. Our window coverings came out fantastic! We couldn't of asked for a better experience with Dennis! We have a couple investment properties that we are going to build later this year and Dennis at Blinds Etc will be getting that business as well. read more

I highly recommend Dennis if you need blinds in the Bend area. He is very knowledgeable and takes all the time you need to decide on the right blinds for your space.
