Sat outside on a Friday night with live music. Music was great and an appropriate sound level to still enjoy conversation. Normally I'm not a fan of WI wines, but all of the wines we tried were very good. The Rose, Sauvignon Blanc, and White Stallion. The White Stallion was our favorite. In terms of food, I was shocked with how amazing the lobster was cooked. The tuna tartare and burrata were our other two favorites but it was all good. All of the staff were so friendly and our waiter, Connor, was so fun and nice. Can't wait to come back!

The ambiance here is great - lots of space to either sit around the bar or in alcoves off the main area. They also have a great patio with another bar for nicer weather days. They have indoor fireplaces and some outside too. The staff were friendly and quick to refill water, but weren't too helpful when asking for recommendations. One individual admitted they don't know much about wine so it seemed better to just make an educated guess. The flight was a little steep ($18 for 9 oz total) for what we received, but seemed better than the lesser option of the tasting. We didn't really love anything. The sauvignon blanc tasted watered down, and the taste seemed off with the moscato and barberra per others in the group, but the super tuscan wasn't too bad. The group's general consensus was that everything was okay but too expensive for the portions/quality. Nice for the ambiance/vibe but that might be about it.

Great wine room! We decided to take a little day trip to cedarburg and stumbled across this newer wine room. We loved our experience from the moment we sat down. We chose to sit at the bar and were convinced to try a flight. The experience was amazing as the manager talked us through some of the different wines. They have a great selection and we even decided to grab one to take home with us. This wine room has reasonable pricing as well and is the perfect spot as they also have some snacks/food options. The patio looked amazing as they even have fire pits that you can enjoy with loved ones.

Finally! It seems I've been waiting so long for Blind Horse Cellar to open in Cedarburg. Well, it was worth the wait. Although they were doing a soft launch for their wine club members, I got to go in and take a look around. We ordered three wines from the wine list for a wine tasting. Every wine that I tried was fantastic. I loved the winery in Kohler, Wisconsin, so I couldn't wait to see their new tasting room in Cedarburg. The ambience is amazing. There are banquets and a fireplace inside. A long bar that is perfect for wine tastings. The outdoor patio overlooks the river and is beautiful. There's plenty of seating. We were there on a very warm fall day and it was gorgeous outside. I can't stress enough how amazing their wines are, the Customer Service was also amazing. If you are in Cedarburg, you must go!

Nothing but great things to say! So happy this tasting room opened, we visited about 1 week after the official open. Everyone was so nice, the wine was great and a good value. We had a couple tastings, a few glasses of wine and we had to take a bottle home. My favorite wine was the Super Tuscan. I haven't had one in a while and this one was SO good and very true to form. I'm very excited for summer because the patio is stunning with a view. Highly recommend you stop by!

I have been here a few times and always love it. Been meaning to write this for a while. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. It's always packed so you may have to wait as it's a cozy space. The wines are great and it's a relaxing and warm environment. Tried a couple of the food items too and they're really good. Can't wait for the weather to warm up and sit outside.

They have a very large selection of cheeses from Wisconsin, the US, and abroad, with lots of unique offerings. We tried a chicken soup Monterrey jack and a mustard Gouda, both of which we really enjoyed. The chicken soup cheese actually tastes like chicken broth from a rich soup, which was definitely a new experience. The room is decorated and bright, and felt like a great spot to stop on a Saturday afternoon. It's a nice change of pace from the usually-crowded bars through downtown Cedarburg. You should be aware that the tasting room apparently can't serve charcuterie boards themselves because of the class of license (maybe no food service cert.) but they're happy to help you enjoy any of the cheeses you purchased in the store and offer you some wine(s) to accompany them. The bartender graciously offered us some crackers to go with the plate and we were able to put together a satisfying little wine tasting experience! The one thing I would like to see is a few more wines on offer for the wine flights; at the time, they were a bit heavy on sweet white wines, which is just not my taste but may be popular in the area. They also have a cocktail list, beers, and their own brand of several liquors, so there are plenty of options. We will be back for a nice afternoon glass of wine and some cheese. It's also a good source of reasonably priced cheeses and wine if you want to have a picnic at the parks nearby.

They also have wine and tropical merchandise to purchase. The wines are made from tropical fruits. The range from sweet to dry and are offering free wine tasting. You are given a sheet that list all the wines and you have the opportunity to try six wines. Plus you get to try a wine slushy. Some of the wines I tried were: key lime, white gold peach, Florida banana (tasted like eating a fresh banana), coco polada (their take on a pina colada), and strawberry blush. The Hot Sun is their take on a bloody mary and smells like a tomato. Overall, it was a great experience and the wine pours are very generous. The bartenders were very nice and you can tell they were having fun explaining all the wines. Definitely a must try!

We came just after opening on a Friday- Megan, the owner, was there to great us and was very friendly and answered questions we had about the wine and smoothie mixes they have for sale. None of the wines are made by "Sunshine Winery" but instead are all brought in from a winery in Florida. The craziest thing is that NONE of the wines in the shop contain any grapes. I have never tried a wine that didn't have grapes in it!! We took advantage of the great offer to sample any 6 wines- I am not a huge fan of banana flavored items but decided to taste the banana wine and it tastes just like a banana laffy taffy! My favorite was probably the "Blueberry Blue" - it was listed under a dry wine but I would say it still had a sweet finish. I do think most of the wines I tried are too sweet to enjoy much more than a glass but I am still amazed that there are that many wines made from non-grape fruits. I think it will be an even better place to visit once they are able to sell wine by the glass. Again, I wasn't ready to commit to being able to drink a bottle of the wine since it was sweet but would definitely come in for a glass. The location is super cute & full of bright colors. The also sell smoothies & we sampled two of the flavors while here- they are designed to be made with wine mixed in so that will be a great feature too once wine can be sold by the glass. We left with a bottle of the orange cream smoothie mix & I cant wait to try this at home! Thank you for a fun experience during our visit!

Both the wine and the chocolates were very nice. We wound up buying a bottle of the Tuscan reserve to take home with some of the chocolates we couldn't finish. We started with a flight of old fashioned cocktails. We tried vanilla bean, honeycomb, and our favorite the cinnamon appke. For dinner we both had the Friday perch fry. The perch itself was very good with a nice panko coating. The fries were good too but they could have been warmer. Our server was very attentive and friendly. They were definitely on the game. Can't wait to return!

There is ample parking on site making this winery very accessible. We were treated by the friendly bartender who I believe is the owner. We also ordered a large cheeseboard which was more than enough for two. There are pizzas and soft pretzels available at night on the weekends but since we were here on a Friday afternoon they weren't serving those yet.
