UPDATE: since having to unfortunately post this review, it did bring the attention of a representative ( see below) My issue was resolved and my technician Joe is always wonderful. However, I still wish customer service would have been better without having to write a negative review. That being said, I love the blinds and Hope. There will be no more issues in the future. Terrible customer service!! I have bought numerous blinds from this company in the past and had issues with those, but figured I would give them another chance. I recently purchased roller blinds which within two weeks mechanical problems they were picked up and they were supposed to be replaced with new ones. The installer who himself was great only came with two of three of the blinds that were supposed to be replaced. Getting anyone to rectify this problem is virtually impossible. The store doesn't answer the phone. The in-house representative doesn't get back to me and the person from corporate doesn't know what's going on. If I don't receive a return phone call, I will be reporting them the Better Business Bureau, as well as the local news. read more

I strongly advise against doing business with Blinds to Go for several reasons: 1. Two different people came to measure at separate times, and got the measurements wrong. 2. I paid in full upfront. 3. The installer attempted to install motorized shades that were too small. 4. He even tried bending the mounting brackets to make them fit. 5. Just seconds after installation, the 118" shade fell to the ground, damaging my oak hardwood floors. I'm currently waiting for them to address this damage. 6. I asked him to leave my home, he wanted to leave the incorrect/damaged shades on my family room floor. I insisted he take the damaged shades with him. 7. Customer service has been terrible; I had to repeat my issue multiple times due to language barriers, despite speaking English. 8. I was informed I'd have to wait 7-10 days for the factory to send new shades. its been over 10 days and no install date. 9. Plus, I learned that my order is non-refundable for any reason. 10. It's been over 10 days, and I still don't have an appointment for a second installation attempt. 11. They removed my prior silhouette shades but broke the mounts, making reinstallation impossible. No I have no shades. 12. Additionally, they expect customers to hold the measuring tape for them, provide trash bags for cleanup, and the even handed over the wireless base to install it. Had shutters installed in kitchen and fabric shades in living room.Both are lovely and installation went smooth.Fast forward when I tried to wash my kitchen windows,I couldn't flip open my window because the hinge was in the way! How the installer didn't figure that out is mind boggling. I called the shop and was told the installer will fix the problem but I will be charged! wth???? I visited this location with my family, a man named Darrel Sergeant (33109) was assigned to help us out, what a horrible experience it was. He thinks and acts like he is a millionaire or owns multiple chains of "Blinds to go." Here are some of the comments he made to our questions: Question: Can a person standing outside see through these sheered blinds, his answer was no, it is common sense that you can not see through. I asked are the prices negotiable, his answer "I don't know why people ask these questions, this is not a flee market." I mean are you kidding me, how dare you treat other human beings like that. Learn some manners Darrel, you have to give respect to get respect. We had decided to buy the blinds and your dumb/rude comments cost you and blinds to go the sale. It is disappointing to see that a store like blinds to go has a horrible customer service. We will take our business to people that actually care about customer service and are proud of the work they do. I would advise you to be kind and understand that you may know everything there is to know about blinds/curtains etc, but customers may not know as much and they will ask you stupid questions at times since you are the "Subject Matter Expert". My experience with Blinds to go Go was a good one. Came in there late Monday night looking for blinds for my bedroom windows, and Traci was the lovely lady who helped up. She was sweet and very professional, and made the process go smoothly. I got my blinds in two days which I LOVED cause I didn't have anything up at the mean time. I'm in need of new blinds or shades. I couldn't decide so everyone told me about Blinds To Go. I figured this wasn't a place I needed to Yelp since I was just looking at some window treatments. When I walked in, I was excited the store was clean and very organized. There are 3 different counter spaces and each one of them had a customer except one. The store isn't that big but that's not the issues it's but so many blinds or shades you can chose from. Walking around the store for about 5 mins and I saw what I wanted but not one person approached me. Walking around more waiting for someone to be available. Finally, someone becomes available and actually bumps into me while walking. Here I am thinking to myself wow, right on time. No, not on time she doesn't even say sorry. I'm like I need some assistance and she goes well I'm busy and stood there. So I felt that my presence was not wanted and I left the store. I'm not sure if she felt, she was wasting her time cause I was dressed in leggings flip flops and inside out T shirt. Or this place just sucks when it comes to customer service. Regardless what the issue is I will never return to this location or recommend any here based solely on customer service. read more

It was easier than I thought, I regret waiting 5 years to do it! I have used blinds to go for over 20 years. Progressed from regular horizontal blinds to pleated paper to verticals and now to the cascade shades. Greg in the Valley Stream store was great. He knew all the fine details on all of the shades. I bought over 70 cascade shades in various colors for construction projects that I am involved in. The store called me in 2 days that they were ready. Unbelievable! I measured the windows myself and installed them as well. They take one quarter inch off of the height and the width so they fit perfectly- no mistakes. Very easy to install. If anything breaks with the metal cord or mechanism, I was told lifetime warranty. I was in your store on Jan 6, was helped by Grey Gardere who was wonderful. From looking at blinds to setting up measuring, ordering every thing was PERFECT!! It was one week and I had all my blinds. Blinds to Go has good looking blinds at affordable prices. This was the second time that I bought and installed their blinds for two different locations. I found installing the blinds on my own was rather easy to do. However, even if you don't feel confident to do the job yourself, the cost of having someone else do the installation is relatively inexpensive. I would use Blinds to Go again the next time I might choose to install blinds at my next location. read more

The task of finding a blind was simple at this store. The young staff was so nice and really knew their stuff. It was a pleasure to ask questions ,where the usual mall store people could be disinterested. Lastly and most importantly, the blinds took maybe ten days to get at the the store for pick up. This store sales person was very helpful and was great to work with. However, the installer that the store hires, Tony Cecco is the reason why I have to give them a 1 star review. The experience I had with Tony is atrocious. First of all, when the blinds came in, some of them were not made according to the specification so they had to be sent back. That is understandable, human makes mistake. However, Tony said that he will follow up with the store and get back to us. One week later, we decided to call the store since we did not hear anything back from Tony. To our surprise, the store did not know anything about this and thought the job was done. We called Tony, first he refuse to acknowledge that the installation was incomplete, then he got angry with us saying he is just an installer and bla bla bla. The other issues I have with these installers is that they just leave the trash lying around in our house when their job is done. Worst people I had deal with. read more
