We had our windows in Master bedroom and living room and dinning room done by Glamour Decorating. They sent someone to come measure and gave us a quote. Then, a week later they called to ask for a second measurement by a different guy - They did not show up at the time slot we rerquested and we waited at home for so long without a courtesy call for being late. We called the first guy who gave us a quote and he said the office should be handling this. There was no one to follow with our order throughout the process. After weeks of waiting, we called to find out if we can schedule an installation appointment. These people said they are out of fabric for our electric roller blinds. We made a deposit and don't believe that fabric was not reserved for us. Again, we waited for weeks without a follow-up. We personally went into the Madison Ave shop location to made a complaint about the situation. Then they made an appointment for us. We were hoping the manager would personally make an apology for the service we received, but not a word from him. The lady staff was very nice at the shop, and she felt bad for us. Listen, a few days before the installation appointment, they post-pone our delivery date they promised. What a disappointment !!!! Finally, 2 guys came to install these long over-due electric roller blinds. They did a very good job installing the blinds and cleaned up before they left. Horrible Family Run Organization. The son, Jonathan, was so aggressive to sign the contract he called multiple times and offered discounted price everytime. Well there was reason to all of this first they couldn't delivered on the desired style then after continuous back and forth trying to cancel the contract they won't allow. It's simple they didn't have the material and style to fulfill the order so why couldn't they return the deposit? Being forced into making decision to continue business with the company we had to deal with Jonathan and Abraham unprofessionalism and rudeness. Things continued to get worst, the workers showed up to install few curtains but other were wrong size Jonathan was quick to the request full payment despite an incomplete job. Truthfully, stay away from the company and take your business elsewhere. This family is very incompetent at taking care of their customers but has made plenty profits to brag about the numerous locations and rob theicustomer enjoy to drive latest BMWs. Just got quoted "about $6300" for 5 windows and 2 patio doors for insulated curtains. Guy was very proud to show me a video of the sweat shop where old ladies, "sew everything by hand", too. They want to charge about 900 per window/door for some insulation lined fabric? Just gross, not a good experience and the kid's pants were falling down with his underwear showing. Such rip offs!!!!!! The owner abraham gave me an estimate for our master bedroom 2 windows $12,000 but gave me a discount so $8600, for the 2 windows. I left him a deposit of $400. The next day i went to a store in my neighborhood and for the same exact thing $3600, so i messaged abraham and told him I'm gonna use the other company he said he can work with me and took $2000. off saying there was a promotion in my area. After me asking him if $8600, was the best he can do. So i asked for my deposit and he said its non refundable. After 1 day he didn't order any fabric etc. please don't use this company!!!!!!!!!! Worked with Johnathan several months back for curtain and drapes on two standard windows and one bow window. In the end, I ended up getting an entire package with pillows for the sofa along with a table runner for the dinning room (for an additional cost of course). The entire process can get overwhelming with so many fabrics, color options, and styles to choose from. However, Johnathon made it so easy! Giving his honest opinion and keeping our concerns in mind, he helped us choose the perfect curtain and drapes for our living room. Which we constantly receive so many compliments on. I did my research before contacting Glamour for my decorating project on 10/21/17. I met Abraham for the designs and I was excited about it. I deposited $300 towards my project. On 11/5- he asked to come pickup an additional payment and I've confirmed it was ok. He changed this appointment time about 5 times but I was ok about it since I was repainting the living room. At 8:00pm, he called to say it was late and we should reschedule. I rescheduled for 11/9 (I don't do weekdays but I knew they needed the additional deposit), they called to confirm and I left work early. While on the train, they changed the time. I was ok. Later the evening, they changed the time again. My husband was like, you should cancel that job because those people have no idea what they are doing. So I made the decision to cancel. But Abraham was so unprofessional, he did not allow me to explain the reasons for cancellation. He didn't want to hear about it. His concerns was all about himself, never about the customer. He said some very rude things to me but I won't get into it. Even his son that showed up, was rude to my Mom. I won't be recommending this company to anyone and I will make sure that my reviews and experiences are heard. They should value people's time and money they invest into a project.
