Awesome experience! We had blinds installed a few years ago by a NYC company. One of them broke, and the company wouldn't come out to NJ again to fix it. A local business said they only worked on Hunter Douglas products and might not be able to get the right parts. Then... cue drum roll... Ziegler said they would pick up the broken blind and return it the next day. Turns out, they did even better. Sean came in the specified time window - hallelujah! - after calling to say exactly when he'd arrive - double hallelujah! - and happened to have the right part with him. Can't go wrong! Have used blinds to go in the past and they were terrible from start to finish . Ziegler & Sons are the total opposite. Fair pricing, excellent service and installation. After the wonderfully professional service we received from Ziegler a few years ago, we contacted them recently when we needed custom Roman shades and wood blinds. As usual, Ziegler did not disappoint. They were very accommodating and helped us select the fabric we wanted from the many books of swatches they have. Trisha was very helpful during the fabric selection process and Sean was very professional and skilled throughout the installation. Family owned business run by Ken, son Sean & daughter Trisha. From start to finish everything was done to perfection. Sean brought over books and samples, very informative and patiently listened. Trisha always replies and calls back promptly, resolves any issues and answered all my questions. I honestly could not be more pleased with my experience at Ziegler and Sons! Unfortunately, I left the windows open during a heavy storm and badly stained 3 handmade off-white linen window treatments. It seemed like they were damaged permanently beyond repair, but Ziegler and Son's were able to restore them to brand new, and they were more reasonably priced than a competitor who told me that he "might" be able to clean them. I need to mention as well that both Sean and Trisha were extremely professional and warm, and a pleasure to do business with! read more

Definitely 5 Stars: I have used Ziegler's in the past for window treatment cleaning. They always do a wonderful job. I just had brand new Luminette blinds installed in my bedroom. The last ones were 16 years old and time to replace them. Ken and Sean of Ziegler's installed them this morning. They look beautiful ... see photo. Two really nice and friendly guys. They were quick and neat in the installation. They wore masks and even took off their shoes before entering my apartment. They completed the paperwork for my rebate and included a stamped addressed envelope. All I had to do was sign, seal and mail it. I have recommended them to many of my friends. I used Ziegler once before for all of my first floor blinds. They are gorgeous! Since then, we took a wall down and extended the kitchen into the dining area. The construction was very messy to say the least. I also changed out windows to mostly larger ones. I called to have them clean the ones that we were keeping and quote us on something more elegant for the new rooms. Omg! They did a beautiful job again! The old blinds look like new and my new shades in the kitchen/dining room are so elegant and perfect. They sell only quality brands that will last. Why should things be so difficult. I called several places in Manhattan..who would get back to me. Most did not. I wanted one roller blind. I got comparable prices from Ziegler and a shop on LI(who a cousin used)...both about 40% less than the Manhattan shop. I then found an online price that was even lower. I called back and Ziegler beat the price. (I did not call the LI store). Within a week of receiving my check, the blinds arrived in my apt at a better price than expected. read more
