Be Our Guest Event services researched several venues and resorts for me to visit, while simultaneously planning every inch of the entire weekend. After deciding on Bacara Resort we chose to give my guests their own bit of down time along with an incredibly planned out day for my wedding. My wedding day consisted of an amazing brunch on a veranda overlooking the ocean followed by 2 custom painted school buses that took us on a wine tasting adventure to 5 wineries. It was a day of fun and celebration and an incredible weekend of relaxation with family and friends. Tammie took care of every inch of planning my wedding- down to even my "something blue" so I didn't have to think, not to mention tactfully endured any stress that comes with a wedding. Tammie's selections in music vendors, flowers, etc. made the final choices for me a breeze as she knew exactly what I was looking for and most importantly, listened to my requests. My friends and family still talk about my wedding as being the most fun wedding they have ever attended. I give most of that to my hostess with the mostess!! Thats how my husband and I have felt since our 5.18.2019 wedding! From the moment I met Amy I knew she was our wedding planner. After talking to almost every wedding planner in the greater chicagoland area I thought Amy is just too good to be true. So in true OCD crazy bride fashion I asked for references and previous brides to talk to about their experience. Amy did not even blink or make me feel totally insane which is a quality every bride should look for in a wedding planner. We thankfully chose the full planning package, because we were planning our Chicago wedding from across the country. Amy responded to every midnight email, every pacific coast phone call and never made us feel like we were alone. She kept us on budget and when we were going over budget she wasn't afraid to bring us back to reality. Amy negotiated all of our vendors and got us the best deals, I cannot stress this enough! Before Amy we were getting quoted 2-3x the costs, and for brides who hate to negotiate she was a God send. Amys wedding day timeline is better than any book or planning binder you can find, she really knows what she's talking about with a month to month breakdown that becomes like your checklist and makes sure to keep your wedding day timeline on track. Leading up to the wedding she was there to lead our rehearsal, take all of our "extra" last minute buys to incorporate into the decor, and she happily took the role of "bad guy" to nix any unwanted suggestions from our adoring family. So many colors to choose from; we were able to find the perfect match! We also rented lighted pedestals (8 of them) for our ceremony from Czarina, and they looked even better than we had hoped! We rented them for HALF the cost of what we'd been quoted elsewhere. Overall, they were very easy to work with and very responsive to e-mails and calls. They showed up to our venue to set up earlier than scheduled (a huge bonus for our event coordinator), and did a great job! Everything was pressed and looked clean and crisp! We were so happy with how everything turned out--the pedestals, the chair covers, and the table runners! We couldn't be more pleased with the results! Her blue table linens and glitz were perfect for our event. The center pieces were so elegant and she designed a beautiful flower arrangement for our sweetheart table! At the wedding, I walked into the banquet and I had chills and my heart stopped! My room was Breathtaking. We had a lilac, charcoal, and glitzy theme and it was beautifully spread out throughout the entire banquet hall. They decorated all 30 tables, my cake table, head table, escort card table and the high boys in the cocktail hour room. I rented out her diamond cake stand which was gorgeous and the sequins head table/cake tables were drop dead gorgeous. The napkins were made into bows and glitz which was perfect for my style since I love bows. I have had so many compliments on the room and my guests all told me that it was the most beautiful wedding they've been to... I have to agree... It was really a dream wedding and it was all because of the help from The Chair Couture, Inc. Whenever I needed help for something in my wedding, Czarina was there with helpful solutions and ideas. I live in Portland, OR and happened to come across Pastiche Events while searching for someone to help bring to life the bridal party's vision of a vintage travel theme to be held in the Chicago area. Primarily we needed help with the food aspect of the shower, but Patty was able to assist us in so many other ways that were way beyond our expectations. The shower was pretty much perfect and the bride-to-be was blown away! Patty is everything you could ever want/need rolled into one amazing package--caterer, graphic designer, paper goods creator, event designer, and in general, a creative genius!
