I contacted EV Guys along with three other companies listed in PSE's Recommended Energy Professionals (REP) Directory. After speaking with all of them, I chose EV Guys because of their professionalism, high quality work, customer focused approach, and reasonable pricing. Behrang, the owner, is exceptionally knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. He presented several design options and walked me through each one in detail -- including panel capacity, breaker selection and layout, installation locations, and cost considerations. He answered all my questions thoroughly and helped me feel confident in my decision. His responsiveness and consideration are outstanding. After the installation, whenever I had questions or needed help, he replied promptly -- even on weekends. He is also an excellent project manager, handling scheduling, accounting, and the permit process smoothly and efficiently. His crew delivered top notch workmanship: precise, clean, and fast. You can enter from the Trader Joe's parking lot. It's located on the bottom level - P0. There are other businesses nearby, too. If Trader Joe's is not really your jam, PCC Community Market is across the street. There are a few shopping stores as well as places to grab a quick bite. Overall, it's not a bad place to park, charge, and shop.

This is a nice office building with several places to grab lunch M-F but retail is all closed after 3pm and on weekends. No wifi in garage but take the elevator up to lobby for a beautiful sitting area and outdoor space. But after hours you may have to work to find your way back into the garage so keep an eye out for signage.

Although I'm sure there are some exception cases, after deep dive research, I'm 100% convinced that hardwired EVSEs are safer and more stable than just plugging a Level 2 mobile charger into a NEMA 14-50R 250v outlet (as we'd done with the Tesla, because that was the standard in 2018). Andy did a great job communicating with us and then prepared a fairly priced sensible proposal. With Max, their highly experienced journeyman electrician, scheduling and install went smoothly. The work passed its Seattle DCLU electrical inspection. Now two-weeks later everything is working as expected. Note: I also used Puget Sound solar 24 years ago, so I'm a returning customer. They have expertise, reputation, and a commitment to sustainability.

He provided straight talk and gave me a rate that was right in line with everyone else. However, Andrew's character integrity, and honesty is the reason I chose this company. There are a lot of people out there installing EV chargers right now, and if you don't have it done correctly you'll be wishing you did. He offered me a matched price on the wall box charging unit that Costco is selling for $499, which is about $200 less than Amazon, and we had the installation done about a week later. We love our EV, and now our house is future-proofed. Max came out and took the time to install it professionally and neatly. Next time we need electrical services will be calling Puget Sound Solar. They aren't as fast as the Superchargers but, less expensive, $0.29/minute vs $0.48/minute at Supercharger. However, it's allotted charging time is 1 hour, so if your battery is very low you may not be able to charge to the recommendation of 80% in that time. That being said, it is easy to kill an hour walking with some coffee/donuts while I wait. David G.
