The lady I had was excellent, the first lady that was free did not seem like she wanted to take me, which was odd, but then the lady I ended up having was such a refreshing surprise after my initial experience. It was definitely painful and that was expected since it's my first time, but she was so quick and meticulous as well with my underarms! The store has been renamed to i think Modern Waxing/Threading? It doesn't say Devi out front anymore. Nonetheless Neha was super patient with me and took her time explaining aftercare, what to and what not to do after waxing and after my underarms and Brazilian wax, she threaded my eyebrows and although painful, she was just as patient as she was before and I'm so grateful she was so sweet. I've been coming here pretty consistently for the last 6 years. I initially did not like this place that much until a newer lady (never got her name, just knew by face) joined in 2018 and started doing my brows, and I was so amazed by her carefulness and gentleness that I had a hard time being sent to the other ladies working there and would even queue up for as long as 30+ min so she could thread my brows! I even had a hard time going to other threading salons because she was so good. She left a few months ago and every time that I come here now and get a different lady, I'm literally just on the edge of my seat with lots of anxiety that they don't hate me and mess up my brows because I had a strong preference for my threader. They turn out fine most of the time, but I experience redness from the pressure they put on with the thread and constantly working on the same spot. It's a hit-or-miss place and it always hit when my favorite threader worked on me but now it's literally a gamble between hit or miss when I get thrown to the first available lady. Still, can't beat the $5 price for decent threading and they probably don't have any competition for that price point.
