Ok so I was in a huge rush when I entered into this salon. Usually I go to a place a few stores down the block but I decided to try this place out. 4$ for eyebrow threading, not including tip. The lady I had was excellent, the first lady that was free did not seem like she wanted to take me, which was odd, but then the lady I ended up having was such a refreshing surprise after my initial experience. After a horrible facial across the street, I will never trust my skin to any other threading salon than Feminas. Their facials include a massage as well and I add on a scalp massage for a full day of no frills pampering. Get in early and be ready to wait on a weekend as they are usually pretty busy. I got my first eyebrow threading here, very quick and super cheap ($4), and not bad. Wish it would have been a little more even thread on both eyebrows, but not mad at the price. Also got my first facial here, definitely a longer process, and the process slightly hurt my nose when the lady was tackling my white heads, but my face felt much smoother right after, and the redness in my nose faded after the next day. read more

I travel all the way to Queens to get my eyebrows done here. They never go wrong! only $4! Yes it is painful, but all my eyebrow experiences have been painful. It's not a high end salon but their work quality is good. I have recommended this place to many other people and they love it too! Now it's time to try their facials. Never tried that. Heard their bed massage is good too (only available for women). read more

Have only been to a handful of threading places in the area, but this one definitely outranks the rest. Lots of staff, so minimal wait time, clean, well-priced, and they take credit card! :) Regarding the skill - the lady I had wasn't too painful and was detail-oriented / thorough and ended in an awesome face massage. Ive been coming here for 5 years! I live in the Bronx and work in Brooklyn now and i STILL travel all the way here to get my eyebrows done. They are so awesome and get it right everytime. Also PLEASE get the $20 facial. Its a special and includes steam, mask, black head removal, the whole works!... The whole process takes about an hour. Try them out :) read more

I been coming here when they first opened. 2010? Time flies wow, I was pregnant then. I lived in the area and came frequently. I still came when I moved to The Bronx. I'll take the subway ride. Now I'm farther closer to Westchester County and due to no parking in the area it's rough but if I'm in Queens period I'll squeeze a trip with a passenger who'll stay double parked lol. No words to describe how I looove this place! I gone to other places for facials and it's nothing like coming here. The eyebrows always on point and all their other services. Now, I'll try to come 1x or 2x a year for their facials and every other couple of months for their eyebrows. I miss being close. read more

I was really excited to see such a highly rated threading place so close to where I live - but alas, it was too good to be true. Let me preface this by saying that I hadn't gotten my brows threaded in well over a month, so there was ample room for them to work with and a proverbial clean slate. I stop by on Saturday around 5, and it was pretty empty so I was seen right away. The woman asked me how I wanted my brows, and I said as thick as possible. I'm Asian and thin brows just do not work for me since my brows are so light already. Red flag #1: She starts working and it is the most painful brow threading I've had in the past decade. I teared, but gave her the benefit of the doubt. Red flag #2: She asks me to hold my left brow while threading it, and then decides to freehand the right brow, never once asking me to hold it to help draw the skin taut and establish an arch. Red flag #3: She is holding a very long conversation with the other women in the salon, pausing at times to chat - I'm paying you for a service, the least you can do is give my brows your full attention for 5 mins. Red flag #4: She gives me a very rough lotion rub and dusts off the hair before handing me the mirror to check her work. I get just enough time to see that she smeared some of my teared eyeliner down my cheek while "dusting" and that my brows are painfully thin before she takes the mirror away. Red flag #5: Even paying was a terrible experience. The man who acts as a cashier was watching a video on his cellphone, and instead of pausing it to let me pay and leave, decided that it was of the utmost importance to see it through before collecting the money. I salute your commitment, sir. I have the same type of commitment to never come here again. I am now left with very thin, uneven brows that I fill in obsessively before I leave the house. I understand that brows should be sisters and not exactly alike, but what I have are 2 anorexic sisters, one of whom had a severe growth spurt and the other who never got fed milk in her life. One star for my terrible brows. It was a very cheap $4 eyebrow threading - but you get what you pay for, worse brows than what you came in with...unless maybe you get the owner, which is what the other girls in the past reviews seem to have been lucky enough to do. read more

First experience of a Brazilian wax and the owner was the one who did mine. I called 20 mins before I got there to see if it was busy or not the lady told me no one was there. I hurried there due to being there once to accompany my sis in law to get her eyebrows threaded and it gets packed I got there at 12: 50pm. I went in to a private room and got undressed from the waist down. She put baby powder all over my area and started. There were just two spots that hurt but not pain that I cried like a gasp. I was sweating from the nervousness but for no reason because it wasn't that bad. The private room was clean and the owner was really nice and kept talking. This is the only and I repeat only place I do my eyebrows. The owner does my threading with son much detail and care. Knows exactly how to do them with precise precision and the exact shape I want them. She never fails me NEVER!!!! Very packed on the weekends so I tend to go mon-thurs. read more

Ok, I've been doing my eyebrows for god knows how long, someway, somehow they always end up messing my eyebrows. They either make them too thin, or uneven. It's been very difficult for me to find a place where they understand what "just clean" means. Other threading places over do it.
