(She is Elite / Senior Level.) The stylist who I first used here moved in 2025 and I decided to stay with this well run, "everyone is welcome" salon location and become Nicole's client because I saw her work "walking" in other clients during my time there and also because she had been doing a stellar job for me in keeping my brows in good shape since 2023 and so I knew how delightful she was to work with. It was a very good choice. EVERYONE IS WELCOME: For we women who have our Social Security Eligibility birthday in our rearview it is my experience that it is often so that we get treated as second class citizens in salons. I appreciate that Nicole makes me feel as important as younger clients and I've seen her patience and skill in practice for all ages. As related note, not all the stylists in the salon cut men's hair, my previous stylist here didn't as example, but Nicole does and my husband has been her client since 2023. APPOINTMENT PROCESS: I appreciate that appointments are made with the salon, that is one isn't calling or texting the stylist directly, and the calendars are well managed. It may take a few weeks to have an opening for your first appointment, but then they are easy to schedule at planned intervals. Appointment reminders are sent by text but if you need to call the salon there is a number to use to do that. SPARKLING CLEAN & WELL MANAGED: The owner is on premises much of the time, and she also does some of the scheduling, so attention is paid her to have things as they should be. Professionally run. AVEDA PRODUCTS: Sold in the salon. PARKING: A private lot for convenience. ACCESSIBILITY: There is accessible, aka ADA, parking in the lot. Clear floor space inside that usable by a person in a wheelchair (as one woman who entered after me for my last cut was after having an accident) to get to and from stylist's chair and shampoo area. I have had multiple sclerosis since my college years so I pay attention to accessibility and I very much appreciate that Nicole is comfortable working with a person with disability. LOCATION & TRAFFIC HEADS UP: On State Street conveniently located for me just minutes east of Eagle, I think this location is technically Garden City although the address says Boise and if so it is far west side of Boise. Beware of traffic making a left turn out of the lot onto State Street if you're crossing traffic headed west. It is fast moving at this uncontrolled entry onto State.
