I received a gift certificate to go here from my daughter since close to our work. When I said I had a gift certificate they kinda side eyed each other like disappointed not new money. Although clean and nice the service was just ok. I only got nails my the dazzle dry nails and I felt she did not listen to my request for round shape, etc.. On a side note My daughter got a bad toe infection from pedicure as she was cut during that had to be treated with antibiotics needless to say we have never been back and never will read more

I always like coming here for a regular mani or pedi. They're pretty friendly and have a wide range of options. I'm not a massive salon girl so as far as your standard polish jobs, they rock! Bliss Nails is unreliable in their scheduling. They'll schedule you, and then when you get there, there's no guarantee that you'll be seen at all and they'll try to reschedule. They also have an employee named Diane whom I only saw once because she kept twisting my hand, and when I asked her to go easy on me, she got angry with me. Everything could improve at this business. I went to get a regular manicure, I was charged $5.00 extra dollars to remove old gel nail polish. I had to wait 20 minutes and when they finally found someone to do my manicure she complained that everyone is not working, ans seemed very put off that she was asked to do more work. She then complained about her job in Spanish with a coworker. She did not buff my nails well enough and I can see little lumps under the polish. Will not be returning to this nail salon. read more

The salon is beautiful and so clean. The spa pedicure is SO worth it. The scrub, lotions, and massages while you are in a massage chair are amazing! The lavender treatment it comes with is great. Plastic bags like the pedicure tubs. Gel mani from Diane lasts 3 weeks for me with minimal chipping. She is the best!! Clearly she is in high demand because numerous others asked for her too. On weekends and near holidays, it's best to make an appointment. They do take walk ins but when it gets busy, you may have to wait. read more

I have been a customer for only ten years however what I experienced on Friday has certainly made me NEVER want to return. First off I have noticed for awhile they won't used the sterilized tools unless you ask them too which I always do then the one tool my manicurist began using was rusted. When I asked her not to use it she got very frustrated. She also dumped the water my nails were soaking in, into the water that my feet were soaking in. I was entirely grossed out. If that wasn't bad enough, I ordered the spa pedicure, barely got a massage instead it lasted an entire 27minutes (I know this because they had a timer) and my pedicure was done before my manicure. now to top it all off on my calf I noticed a pimple like mark a few days later and my friend who is a nurse took one look and told me it's ring worm and most likely from Bliss nails. ever since the past manager left that place has gone down hill. I've sat there at 5:00pm while they poured solution on the floor and mopped with a broom. it's a shame because this used to be a wonderful place but forget it now. the health department will be getting notified. read more

I loved this place! It was recommended to me by my sister-in-law. The people there are very nice and professional. The technicians give you their undivided attention and pay attention to detail. My appointment was with Diane and she did an amazing job! The also have massage chairs to sit in when you get a pedicure. Very disappointed with the attitude of management at this salon. My sister and I booked an appointment for a gel manicure and pedicure, each. While we were in the pedicure chair, we were told that we would each need to pay an additional $10 each to remove the dip powder from our nails. Normally this is included when receiving additional services. I could see if we were just having it removed, but we wereb both getting a new gel manicure and pedicure. The manager got rude when I questioned the policy. I will not go back, as there are many salons that will include this in their price of a new manicure. read more

I come to this nail salon often and usually love my mani/pedis. The extra massaging of the hands and feet really won me over. During the winter they put the special wax on your heels and it really does wonders. I'm also glad they brought back the back massage while your nails dry! I came in 2 weeks ago and had Jessica as my manicurist. She was awful. She cut me twice and did nothing to stop the bleeding and completely skipped the lotion/massage portion of the manicure. She was in such a rush (no clue why, there wasn't anyone waiting) that she missed a bunch of spots on my nails and even left polish on the skin around my nails. I had to say something to the hostess in order to get her to clean them up. She was awful, I strongly suggest staying away from her. Edited- I came in and had Diane give me a basic manicure and as soon as she started applying my polish I asked why she hadn't cut my cuticles and she just shrugged and continued painting. Although the reviews were mixed, I decided to give this place a shot, but I'm kind of regretting that I did. When I walked in, I asked if they accepted cards because I had no cash and the receptionist said yes, no problem. I go to pick out my color for my mani/pedi and the receptionist is waiting for me to pay. She tells me that customers pay first before getting the service. That made me a little weary because what if they didn't do a good job? Anyway, I pay and go to leave the tip on the card--remember I don't have cash--and there's no spot for a tip. I specifically asked if they took cards because I didn't have cash! At that point, I assume there is an ATM in the salon for me to take some cash out, even though I hate paying the fee. I'm walked to another room for the pedi and like most reviews on here, the massage was great, but I couldn't enjoy it because I kept scanning the room for an ATM. Then another lady comes over to start my manicure. She cuts me, which I understand happens, but doesn't apologize. Doesn't even acknowledge the fact I'm bleeding. Then, she rushes through the entire manicure! The coats weren't even (some spots only had one layer of polish and chipped within the hour), clear top coat all over my fingers, and bubbles everywhere. There wasn't even a line of customers, so I don't know why she was rushing--not that a line of customers warrants a rush job. If you're wondering about the ATM, I never found one. I still feel guilty, but once the room was empty and my nails felt dry enough, I left. Had the service been better, I would have gone back to the receptionist and ask how to tip with my card or even ran to the nearest ATM to bring cash back. PS: there were also refrigerated bottles of water and wine, but no one was drinking and from what I saw during my time there, no one was offered. read more

I've lived in the area for 20 years and was looking for a new nail salon as the quality of my old place was going downhill. After driving past Bliss a few times I stopped in one night after calling ahead to make a gel mani and regular pedi appointment. The salon was beautiful (and large) inside, and the staff was kind and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised when I sat down in the pedi chair and an employee came over to do my gel mani at the same time. Talk about time saving! I was in and out in ONE HOUR and the quality was perfect. Plus, they give an amazing foot scrub and massage with lotion as well as a back/neck massage while you're waiting for your nails to dry. If you're looking for a new nail salon, I highly recommend Bliss. I will be recommending this salon to everyone going forward. read more

Blooming Nails really saved the day!! I had planned a spa afternoon for my sister's bachelorette at the Nail Bar. Long story short, they have horrible customer service and almost completely ruined my sister's bachelorette. Don't ever go there. Anyway... Last minute we decided to try Blooming Nails because it was close. When I called and asked if they could take 9 ladies for mani pedis last minute they said no problem! We show up five minutes later and are taken almost immediately. The place is very clean and decorated nicely. They have beverages (soda, water, tea, etc.) available for free! Everyone had a good time. They did a wonderful job on our nails and even stayed open late JUST for us so they could finish with the design my sister wanted on her nails. Excellent customer service. I've gone here over the years and while I've always thought it was expensive for a manicure ($30) it used to be worth it. They would spend a lot of time massaging and perfecting. My last manicure with Diane took 15 minutes total. No massage, she rubbed lotion on very quickly and the manicure was toast in under a week. Not worth the money or crappy experience. read more

This place was truly amazing! When I first walked in I though I was walking in to some heaven right here. It's straight up new and looks pretty amazing. I got a french manicure and a spa french pedicure that was a special of $35. All together it was $59. It's pricey, but I would say it is worth it. They massaged up and down my legs for awhile, at the same time doing my manicure with a women to the side massaging your hands. They give you a nice hot towel right on your neck as you get in a nice massage chair that is oh-so amazing. The people here were VERY friendly and did a great job on my nails. I felt like I was royalty for the time. It lasted I would say about an hour long. The owner who was walking around was checking very carefully what her employees were doing and made sure they were doing a great job. I only had 2 problem, but it didn't matter much anyway. One of them was when she was pushing the cuticle down on my toe nails, some how it started bleeding. I didn't actually feel much of anything, so I didn't mind, and all she did was put some blue, liquid stuff on it and it stopped bleeding and felt fine. The other problem was when the white line that goes across your nail with the french manicure, the stroke seemed to break in the middle of my nail. I addressed it to them and they fixed it right away. They then took me over to get my nails dried and a women came over and gave me about a 3 minute massage. It felt pretty amazing and was so luxurious. The service was straight up amazing, but I came on a Monday afternoon where only 3 other people were in there with me. This place is a keeper! I will be going here all the time now and whenever I need and mani or a pedi, I will go here! read more

I love Blooming Nails! Regular, $28 pedicure is amazing! I wish I had had more time because I would have splurged for one of the upgrades. My girl, Sandra, gave the most amazing leg and foot massage. I went with my sister who had an equally great experience. Best pedicure around and hands down best value! It lasted a good 40 minutes. Then, when you dry, you are offered a neck and shoulder rub, complementarily! Of course, don't forget to leave him a little tip! Definitely going back and this is my new go to spot for pedicures. Got a regular pedicure and gel manicure. Had a smile on the entire time made sure to say thank you. The place I normally go to is closed on Mondays so I decided to go here on my day off. NEVER AGAIN will I go here. The employee who did my pedicure was so rough she cut me. Was clearly rushing. The treatment she used with wax to make my feet soft , she didn't even put on my entire feet, half assed it. Was not gentle at all on me. A different employee did my gel manicure and it turned out to look awful. Asked her to fix a couple fingers that were clearly messed up with streaks and she put a ton of top coat on to the point where the tips of all my fingers were hard to the touch. Felt and looked like I had super glue on my fingers. Polish all over my fingers. When asked to fix it she made it worse. I went to go sit at the foot dryer after and she told me that I didn't have to dry my feet and that I was good. So I left since I was totally annoyed and GUESS WHAT!? Toes weren't dry and are now look bad and are messed up looking as if a toddler did my nails. $60 down the drain. Will never go again. Jessica did my manicure and Veronica did my pedicure. read more

This place is terrible. My sister and I decided to try it out and although it was nice how fast Veronica finished my nails, it's been not even a week and all the gel on my fingers are either chipped or completely off. A day after we got our nails done we decided to go back for our toes, again it was done very fast, I got a light pink and she did 1 coat so it looks like I have no polish on at all, after I tipped her I went to dry them and noticed half my toe wasn't even painted, when I went back to ask the girl who did mine to redo them, she sighed very loud and seemed super annoyed. Let me start off by saying I live in Exton and come here every 2-3 weeks for my gel manicure and a pedicure every so often. I travel a good 20 mins. Lately I haven't had the greatest experience at Blooming Nails. First and foremost, the receptionist is awful. There was this young girl there that was incredible and now the woman that has short hair is not friendly loud and very bossy. Secondly lets talk about how they have beverages but never offer them to their guests. Then I think well, how long has that wine actually been sitting there. I am very confused about that. After a days work I would like to have a glass of wine if its there, and it is!!! Lastly, I love the gel manicures. They last a long time and they never disappoint. But a suggestion is to ask the client if they like the color after the first application on the pinky nail. I hate the color I just recently got and they never asked me that. Diane is so friendly and nice and there is another girl whose name I don't know but begins with an H. She is so friendly and those two women make me want to come back. Women want an experience at places like this. They always come back, so if their experience is top notch, you best believe they are coming back every time and with friends. That is why I am giving this review 3 stars sometimes my experience is great other times (like today) was not! And get a new receptionist someone that is friendly!! read more

My last time I went was during the holidays and I paid $30 (including tip) to have one of the inexperienced techs push my cuticles back so hard that I now have a dent across each fingernail. I do not like to give a bad review to small companies but my experience at this salon was not good. I received a gel manicure on 11.21.19. The manicurist did not soak my fingers at all and when trimming my cuticles it was painful and in addition she barely cleaned up nails. My gel peeled off on its own in full pieces exactly 1 week later. I would not go back. read more

I am a local and read the great reviews on blooming nails so decided to give to a try. Seemed really nice at first glance! Sat down and my opinion quickly changed!!!!! I noticed my Neil technician was wearing one glove with a few band aids under it:( Though perhaps she had a cut but during pedicure she took off glove and had some kind off skin disorder!!!!!!! Yuck!!!!!!! I am an esthetician so I know all about flared skin disease and how very contagious they are!!!!! No glove is gonna and bandaid is going to stop from spreading infection especially since her hand was soaking in water ( with my feet) the whole time! Water is a great carrier for all sorts of disease if contaminated! Anyway as I start to relax a cleanup crew of like 10 women were buzzing about cleaning, sweeping, scrubbing, spraying, ect.... I like to see this kinda commitment to sanitizing but NOBODY wants to watch foot skin and funk being swept in front of you while trying to relax!!!!! It was so loud and distracting and gross!!!! Finally the cleaning is over, time to relax, Wrong!!!!! Someone is smoking a cigarette in the back and the place stinks, being pregnant I could not stand the smell. That, occupannied by the rough housing in the back room by the young " massage therapists)( sounds of constant slaps and laughter) Was extremely annoying!!!!!!!! I paid 45 for a spa pedicure and was not happy. Would not go back. The only plus was the massage while your nails are drying. read more

Five stars would have been a definite if it weren't for the rushed, so-so, manicure. I am torn with this new practice of giving a manicure while you are in the pedicure chair. Sometimes I feel like a princess being pampered, sometimes I feel overwhelmed like I don't know what to focus on. Having said that, I did like that my nails were almost dry by the time my pedi was done. And speaking of pedis, this was hands down the best around. It is more expensive ($28 for a regular pedi) but you get a full 5 minute massage on each leg, and that includes hot rocks. It was well worth it. And to top it off they have a guy who gives you another full 5 minute neck and back massage while you are drying your nails. HE IS AWESOME! Used to go to Pink Nails on W.C. Pike but this place was recommended so I gave it try. A bit more expensive than Pink Nails but well worth it. High ratings on the mani, pedi and brow waxing. And the massages that come with the services are incredible. My only complaint is that the nail techs seem utterly disdainful of the clients. They're polite but very cold. It's as if they're annoyed you can afford to get manis and pedis. I work hard, I should be able to enjoy myself without judgment. read more

I live in Havertown, land of the Nail Salon, and I travel to NTS for the spa pedicures at Blooming Nails. The place is very clean and relaxing. Long leg massages and I never feel rushed. The employees are very attentive to the customers and do a wonderful job. A 5 minute shoulder massage is the icing on the cake when nails are drying. This was our (7 of us, girls day out) second time here. Last year was nice.... this year we all agreed none of us will ever go back! We had a reservation but they were not ready for us to arrive. The techs were rude and talked about us (guess they didn't know we were bilingual). Which one of our daughters heard! The manicures and pedicures were not great. The manicures were the worst I have ever had done! Over all just rude....you would think a group would actually be treated nice! Blooming Nails really should have better reviews. I've been coming to this salon since 2008 for mani's & pedi's only - it's grown & gone through a lot of changes. Basic mani is $14, basic pedi is $30. They've gone through several receptionists & technicians and I agree some haven't been as good as others but overall the service is typically great. All of the technicians are professional (dressed nicely, not taking personal calls on their cell phones). They have a full time receptionist/cashier so your service isn't interrupted by your technician answering the phone or greeting customers. You pay upfront which I find more relaxing then paying in the middle of your service. They don't up-sell here. There isn't an ATM & they don't let you put tip on the card so stop at Wawa on 252 for some cash or hit the drive through ATM next door. As far as the services, the basic pedicure is better than any salon in the area & all of their massage chairs work. The basic pedi includes a long massage, hot stone, hot towel, etc. In the winter months they include a paraffin wax treatment. If you need to get in and out quickly you can get your mani at the same time as your pedi, but if you have time, I think it comes out nicer when you do the mani separate. Diane gives the best manicure. If you need special designs, I suggest going to NailBar on WCP - that's their specialty. While your drying you will get a back/neck massage. During Christmas they give their clients gifts - usually a hand cream & pedicure socks. For the standard mani/pedi this is the best in the area. read more
