I have been doing my own mani and pedis at home but I desperately needed some cuticle cut and care. I let my trusty helpers guide me here and I'm glad I came. A basic mani n pedí is $40. Note Friday and Saturday cash only. Luckily this was My first time so they accommodated my debit card payment. They have plenty of pedicure chairs. They abide by Covid guidelines and have plenty of plexiglass partitions. The pedicure was not rushed and they put extra time for the massage. I just don't get why I can't control the massage and my position on the chair. Not sure why I see a lot of nail shops do this but I'd like to have control with that. That's really those only negative. They are super attentive, they do not rush the service and do an all around good job. The place is very clean and they sterilize the instruments prior to usage and provide free tor separators and disposable flip flops. Parking is ample it's located in the shop I enter with Ross. If I could give this salon a negative 10 stars I would. They only cater to Caucasian women and did dip on natural nails turning out lumpy uneven and with product all over my fingers! I expressed how unhappy I was and the man in the establishment stated to me "the best " did my nails and he wasn't going to fix it. The pedicure was just as bad with polish all over my cuticles. Came here for a gel manicure. This is a basic, no frills nail salon. It definitely doesn't have the spa like feel the way some places do. This is a walk-in only salon, but I was able to get seen right away on a Friday afternoon. Overall, she did a good job with my manicure. And, it lasted a solid three weeks! One hangup I have is that even though it says online they take credit cards, apparently they are cash only on Fridays and Saturdays. I don't see the point in this, but it should be better advertised. They did end up taking my card, but they seemed annoyed. If this was advertised better, I would have stopped and taken out money beforehand. read more

My go-to nail salon for gel manicures. $25 and it lasts for 2-3 weeks. Whenever someone says it peeled right away it's bc the brand of polish doesn't hold we'll to your nails. Example: I know opi peels quickly for me but Gelish lasts 2-3 weeks. On the contrary, opi lasts for my mom. The owners Lynn and her husband are very sweet. This place is always super busy too. I used to love it, it was my nail salon for years but lately they've gotten very rude. They only take cards Monday - Thursday but when you actually go to use your card they make comments like "you can't just pay $25 cash?". If you don't want to take cards that's fine but don't advertise that you take them and then give customers a hard time when they try to use them. I've witnessed this and have experienced it many many times. Vicky who works there has also gotten very rude,pretty much yelled at me when they put the wrong color on my nails and I asked them to change it. It was embarrassing and uncalled for, they messed up and I was paying for it. I gave them one more shot last week because my new place was so busy. I went in for gel and Vicky did them, didn't say a word to me and it was done pretty sloppy. I won't go back. read more

I came in on a Wednesday afternoon with only an hour to get a mani-pedi for an event on Saturday. They were able to get me in right away, did my manicure partially during my pedicure to help get me finished on time and still did all of the leg massages/hand massages. My nails looked great and lasted without one chip for Saturday's event. They lasted overall for about a week, and my toes still look great! I really appreciated the rush service and how well the manicure lasted with my busy week and big event. I got a regualr manicure- no gel or anything. Noooooooo! I spoke too soon! This always seems to happen with nail places--I find one I like and everything's great...but then it goes wrong. OK, I'm being overdramatic here, but I went for my first gel manicure at Wonder Nails about 10 days ago. I've gotten gel manicures before, but it my first time getting one here. I was tempted to do so because if you get one at Wonder Nails and then return for your next one, they'll remove the first polish for free (whereas if it was from somewhere else, you pay. I find most places charge you anyway for removal, so I was tempted by the free-ness of this place.) The lady, who didn't speak much English (I don't care--this is just for the benefit of people who do care about that kind of thing) removed my old polish with some plastic fake nail pieces (acrylic? I'm not sure what the terminology is.) I hadn't seen this method before--everywhere else I've been has soaked my nails in acetone (they did that here too) and then used a cuticle pusher to remove the polish. I find that irritates my nails a bit too much, so I'm very intrigued by the idea of this different method. It was a lot more comfortable and seemed to work well. She then showed me the colors, and HOLY MOLY, there's a lot to choose from. She also pointed out which ones were the newest. The selection was great, but I finally settled on a magenta-y purple. I love the color; I'm still not sick of it. She did a good job of shaping my nails. What's the problem, then? The gel is peeling up off one of the nails. Those of you who have had gel manis know this is basically impossible. And granted, it's not like sticking up off the nail, but if I were to try, the gel would probably come right off the nail in one big piece. I think she may not have been as careful as she could have been, or maybe their machines just don't work as nicely as others. So it's not enough that I will never come here again. In fact, I'll likely still come here for pedicures and regular polish jobs. I just don't want to pay that much for a gel mani ($25, which granted, is relatively cheap) for it to peel off my nail. Oh, and BEWARE: They don't accept credit cards on Fridays and Saturdays--that's a pain in the gluteous maximus. read more

I used to love this place, but the last 5 or 6 times I've been there were disastrous. They are downright sloppy now. My gel manicure has not lasted more than 4 or 5 days because they painted on the skin causing it to peel. Also, the last 2 times they didn't have the exact color I chose so they took it upon themselves to substitute what they thought was a close color without asking me. How has nobody reviewed the wonder of Wonder Nails yet? This is absolutely the best place in Delco to get your nails done. They give you a great foot and calf massage for pedis, are friendly and attentive, and your mani lasts for a decent amount of time. Plus, they just redid the place, with FANTASTIC new massage chairs. I was referred to Wonder Nails by my cousin who RAVES about the place but I had a horrible experience. They tried to soak my hands in DIRTY water that they had just soaked another customer's hands in. They also tried to use dirty instruments on me. Then rolled their eyes at me when I requested fresh water. After wintnessing them only rinsing out the foot-baths and not sanitizing them, I decided against the pedicure. The girl messed up my nail polish after finishing and rather than re-polishing the nail, she did a CRAPPY touch-up job that looked so bad, I wound up taking all of the polish off and repainting with my own polish after a couple of days. I will NEVER go back to Wonder Nails...unless I want to get FUNGUS!! read more

Whenever I am in town to visit my sister, she always take me here for a beauty treat. She is very fond of this nail salon and I don't blame her. The salon is clean and well organized. The staffs are always friendly. They seems to go extra miles to keep the customers coming back. They even give customers who get a pedicure a free pair of socks to keep their feet warm.
