Don't understand why the reviews are so high. I had rude ass technicians that kept on talking about me in Vietnamese when I am viet and speak it fluently. The nail tech complained about doing her job taking off my gel nails. Then the person doing my pedicure kept on saying I had on dip nails when it wasn't. Like it took the nail tech working on my nails over 30-45 mins to take off my gel nails and she kept on complaining about the time. Don't understand why she used the drill on my nails and it took off perfectly fine but after that she stopped using the drill and did the slower method having me dip my hand in water with acetone so of course that'll take longer. It was so disturbing that I told her I don't want my nails painted anymore and she was like "oh, why" like girl you kept on complaining about the time. Then the technicians kept on talking to each other about my ethnicity if I was Filipino or Thai when I'm neither. Also, the lady that did my pedicure re-uses her foot scrub tools, that is definitely not sanitary. I did not want service from these technicians anymore so I told them I do not want the nail color polish on me and to just be done with it. When I walked to pay to the counter I was charged $77 for not even receiving the full service, the receptionist didn't even bother to ask how my nail salon experience was. If you want to experience shitty ass service, racism, and have bad nails then go here. The owner Long texted me saying he was sorry I had a bad experience and if I come back then I'll be offered a discount. In what world would someone ever go back to a filthy place. Bliss Nails offers enhanced safety precautions and THE BEST quality nails period! My first visit back since Covid and I really admired the safety precautions being taken. Partitions act as barriers to maximize protection at each nail station. All nail technicians wear face masks and face shields over the mask and everyone is spaced apart. Don, Mary, Cathy and Long are always welcoming and the environment is relaxing and feels like family. Cathy makes my nails beautiful each and every time and I consistently get compliments on how beautiful my nails look. She is an expert and a wonderful nail artist! Long is a miracle worker. I have a missing toenail and by the time I leave Long has created a natural looking nail that not only make me feel comfortable wearing sandals but make me proud of my toenails. He is also a true nail expert! Went for a pedicure and it was wonderful. I get regular pedicures and this was the best I've had in a year! Greeted when I walked in, offered water before my service; chair is very comfortable and the massage features work well. Curtains in between clients, relaxing atmosphere and low lighting. I recently moved to flower mound and have been looking for a great nail salon to land at. I came in for a walk in pedicure on a Monday morning and Hanna was my technician. She was absolutely incredible. The massage after my pedicure was to die for and much needed after a long week of working on my feet all day. I would leave negative stars if I could. I'm not sure how this place has SO MANY positive reviews because this experience was so awful that I'm writing this while still in the chair receiving the pedicure. When my friend and I walked in, we were instructed to choose our color and we were taken to the chairs almost immediately which was great. That was about the best part of the entire experience. Most nail salons offer some sort of beverage, it did not seem like the case here, not a terrible thing but not ideal. We were not given an option of pedicure choice, I would have liked to possibly do a wax or hot stone add on but we got whatever pedicure they decided for us. After removing the polish, there was still polish left on the nails and I had to point it out multiple times before it was taken care of. She asked if I would like my nails cut, then after cutting she filed down my nails and also my skin. It was raw going back into the hot water and burned for the rest of the service. After filing, she pushed back my cuticles and cut the sides of my nails and again my skin. She filed again and then began to massage my legs. The right leg was good, a nice long 8-10 minute massage with oil. She moved to the left leg for less than 2 minutes with no oil, then back to the right leg for another 5 minutes. She moved back to the left leg again for 2 minutes, then 5 more minutes on the right leg before she began to pound my right leg as a "massage." Needless to say, my right leg got plenty of action while my left leg did not. Before she began applying the gel, she separated with my toes with toilet paper....yes, toilet paper. She applied the gel coats to my toes, and again my skin. During this whole ordeal, she would continuously say "excuse me" and move my foot around, where most places would just tap your foot lightly or even start to move it instead of interrupting the conversation with the person next to you. This was not a great experience and my toes are still burning afterwards. Zero stars, zero skin. read more

I was a bit apprehensive to try a salon which didn't have an active website, but my fears were totally unfounded! Their existing star rating of 4.8 was SO accurate. The receptionist was able to fit me in same day within 2 hours for a dip manicure and basic pedicure, they had a smallish selection of colors for basic polish out (with an extra area of recommended seasonal colors set aside) and a huge selection of both dip and gel color options. I was able to pick a fun summer color for my nails and a slightly darker option in the same color family for my toes. Laura did my nails at the same time, while Hannah did my pedicure. Laura mentioned they focus on "quality over quantity" and man was she right! They both took their time while talking with me and including me in their own conversations. The other technicians were booked and busy with their own clients, but everything in the salon was calm, quiet and relaxing! I didn't feel rushed, their work was impeccable, and I felt comfortable the whole time. I'm not in town often, but next time I definitely coming back. I went swimming with my boys later that day and was a little nervous the toes might not hold up, but they held up to an afternoon of swimming without a single chip! I'm so happy. read more

Came here for the good reviews and was disappointed! I was here on a Wednesday night. Called in the same day and came when they told me to. We had to wait like 20 min past the time, but it was fine. We had two pedi's, one mani, and one gel mani. Pedi's were great! Amazing! But our mani's were not great. My aunt's paint job was streaky, and when she expressed her concerns, the manicurist just said that was the nail polish. She put on a glitter top coat instead of clear to hide it. For me, after Long buffed my nails, I asked for him to do it again, but he said the polish would cover it (Spoiler: it did not and was very noticeable). The polish was really clear and I wanted it to be opaque. He had to do three coats. On my left ring finger, something got in the polish on the top coat. He said it would buff out, but it didn't. He did redo the nail for me because this was for my WEDDING. It was overall a sloppy gel mani and it literally started coming off the morning of my wedding. By the end of Saturday, the rest of the nails lifted so much that they came off. TLDR: disappointed :( read more

I came to Bliss Nail Spa because majority of the reviews were great. I was taken care of very quickly and the lady who did my nails was very nice and just let me enjoy my gel manicure. Everything was great up until the end. I am unsure of the man's name, but he told me "make it fast" SEVERAL times while I was trying to pull up my Venmo to make the payment. I get some error that my bank information needs to be updated which was weird because I always use Venmo with no issue. I didn't pull it up thinking "maybe it won't work or oh wait my bank information isn't in my Venmo." He raises his voice at me to update my bank information and to once again make it quick. I just asked if I could pay with a card. He told me yes, and while I was taking my card out of my purse, he AGAIN told me to make it fast and rushing me. He told me to make it fast probably 10 times in less than 2 minutes. I told him I was going as fast as a can, and he quickly acted like nothing happened and wasn't just rushing me. It was very shocking and uncalled for to be treated that way when I was just trying to pay. If this review was solely based on the woman who did my nails it would be a 5 star review. She was SO SWEET! The man, however, should not be speaking to customers that way. Hopefully he hasn't treated anyone else like that. read more
