Not very transparent in what to expect and receive from this location. I called and asked for kids pricing on mani/pedis. They gave me a price for the 3 young girls with me. When we arrived, signed in, picked out polish and then sat down, they told me 12 doesn't count as kids...they needed to be 11 and younger so they have to pay adult prices. When we signed in, No where does the age listed to show what kids age range is to be considered kids. Would have been fine, if they told me that on the phone or even as we're checking in once I filled everything out but the salon decided to tell me after the girls picked their polish and were sitting in the chair. The Website when you open shows under new management with 30% off but you have to read that it has an expiration date of 2/29/2024, if you're reading the whole message. Why do they still have it up if they're not willing to honor it. On top of that, why do they still have it up and not honor it. I like knowing what I'm going to spend, especially if they're little ones. Different when it's you or when you upgrade, you expect the change. Not a very pleasant experience! read more

Several years ago, I watched this building under construction while I was undergoing chemo at a nearby medical office. When I saw that a nail salon was going to be located there, I couldn't wait to be a patron. I have been a customer ever since today I tried a different treatment, which was their top end manicure (sorry, I forgot the name). The young lady did a magnificent job on my nails, including helping me choose a color. But she provided the very best and most welcome neck, shoulder and upper back massage ever. I think they have changed ownership in the years I have used the salon. But the staff has been consistently been so kind and so attentive. Never again. I arrived at 11:29 am for my 11:30 am appointment. After waiting 10 mins I was told "just a few more minutes." So I asked the owner why he allowed me to make an appointment if it can't be honored. He responded with something which literally made no sense. At 11:45 am I finally had a technician start on my pedicure. At 12:25 pm he was done with my manicure AND pedicure. Now I'm not interested in a 2 hour mani/pedi but the fact that they were both finished in 40 mins tells me all I need to know. Proof of the worst manicure ever attached. I'm someone that gets my nails done every 2 weeks so it's unfortunate they'll be losing my business. BEWARE! Absolutely horrible experience. My boyfriend's mom went to get her nails done and OMG it was chaotic. The nail tech lady applied the wrong color, decided to add snowflakes details AFTER she said no AND she forgot to GLOSS one of the nails. Absolutely unprofessional and sloppy! The sad reality is that they can do really good work, but the inevitably charge for things that didn't happen or don't perform all of the services. I asked for a classic manicure with nexgen for three trips in a row before giving up on actually getting the manicure. They didn't charge me for these manicures, but they did charge me for other things that didn't happen. On my last visit I asked for my natural nails in a round shape, but they charged me for a special shape, which is an extra $10. Today I went back and got the color - but nothing else - changed, and somehow they charged me again for a special shape. Again, these are my natural nails. Even if it was a special shape last time (which it wasn't), they didn't have to shape anything today. And still they charged me an extra $10. It's too bad. Their design work is great, but I'm not going to pay $40 for NexGen and then $20-25 for special designs if they're still going to charge me even more for things I didn't get. There are a lot of nail salons in the area. I will go elsewhere. read more

Came in with my sisters for the first time, as my older sister just moved in to the river walk. Came in everything was going fine until we had to pick the color they where rushing us. Finally, we sat down my sister and I did the nexgen and came out very transparent and it's a dark color. My older sister got just a regular manicure with regular nail polish he kept trying to up sell her to get gel/nexgen. She opened two doors the door to walk out and the car door and her nails got messed up! We came back in and the guy said "I told you that isn't good" he gave us an attitude and did not want to fix her nails. We told him that he at least should fix them since she paid for the service. I am not one to leave poor reviews, but I hope management sees these reviews that are being left and fixes the issues bc it is a beautiful shop! Both visits, the water in the basin is just cold. I don't want my feet on fire, but warm would be nice. Especially if I'm waiting 20 mins to get a pedicure....which only lasted about 10 mins (for an upgraded option). I usually get my nails done as well but on my previous visit, I had dip done and it lasted about 2 days before it was cracking and falling off. So I figured I would just save my money. We also asked if our 13 year old daughter would qualify for the kids pedicure and the gentlemen said yes - no problem. When my wife and daughter went in, they were charged $30 each. This place is super nice, and I hate that I didn't have a good experience... I wanted nexgen and toe polish change. She polished my toes while literally bending over squatted down under the nail table. I couldn't see what she was doing and it literally took her all of 5 minutes! They looked so bad afterwards I asked them to clean off the polish around my cuticles and made me feel as if I were asking to much!!! My nails look ok, but I asked for the best nexgen tech and her service was good but not precise. There was glitter on a few nails that she had to file off after she was done. I came home and had to fix a few areas that were not filed... I'm disappointed because I'm looking for a new place in Flower mound but I will keep shopping around, might give this place another chance but I haven't decided. Approximately ten days ago I went in and asked for a pink ombre and paid 65$ for the worse pink ombré that I have ever received. I was looking for a new nail salon so I gave this one a shot. The first time was decent, but the latest visit was just bad. They don't soak off gel, they just dremel it off. The lady I got the last time was not gentle. She did not use any cuticle remover and I had to request that she go all the way to the cuticle with the polish. EDIT July 2020: new ownership since I wrote this Got my nails done 9 days ago and wasn't happy with them. The ones on my right hand are much bigger and longer than my left. They're super thick and the lady didn't even get them all the way to my cuticle becua she was "afraid of hurting me" (??) Didn't say anything the day of as I had already been there two hours as the lady was going super slow and I was out of time. Also the woman was standing right there by the counter when I was leaving. Haven't had time to go back in this past week and then today the nails started falling off. I called today expecting them to be professional and offer to fix all of them. They said they'd give me a discount on a new set. Excuse me? So they wanted more of my money to fix their own mistake. The woman said she would have fixed them had I said something sooner, but after 2 days they will no longer fix anything for free. Will never be going back. Overpriced and rude. I had a coupon so that's how i found the place but it was hard to find the address. They were okay on friendliness and service. Was really fast getting started but ended up taking forever on my nails. I would usually appreciate this but she didn't do as good of a job given the time.
