My nails grow really fast so I have to have them done every two weeks. Don has been doing my nails for 10+ years and at this point he is family to me. Not only him, but his sister Cathy, Long, Mary, Gwen and the whole crew. I am pretty much a germaphobe and I appreciate all of the precautions they take to not only prevent Covid spread, but nasty bacteria. They have plexiglass shields between you and the manicurists, they sterilize their instruments, and they use plastic liners in their foot bowls. A couple of years ago, Don gave me a little added sparkle to my pink and whites for Christmas and I loved it so much that I decided to keep having him doing my nails this way. Once in a while people notice it and I have gotten so many compliments. I highly recommend Bliss, but just know Don is already booked every other Saturday at 4:00pm. read more

I tired booking an appointment with their website link... Big mistake considering is sent me to another businesses website. I show up 20 mins before my appointment, simply because I was already close by and wasn't going to go home first just to come back. However I was in no hurry knowing my appointment wasn't for 20 mins I walked, their door also says walk-ins welcome but that wasn't the case. I entered the establishment a man named Don asked if I had an appointment I said I did at I told him my nail and the time of the appointment and what the appointment was for her prompted me to pick out a color and wait for my appointment time, which again completely fine as I was early. However 20 mins go by I haven't been spoken too, 3 different people who came in after me and only one of which stated they had an appointment began to get worked on. At this time a women approach's me asking my name I give her my name she walks away without saying anything else. 10 more mins go by another women comes up to me saying they do not have my name down for an appointment I try to show her my appointment details on my phone and she insists it's at another location, which okay yes it was at a different location because thats the link set to their website. However the part I found extremely rude was how she grabbed the gel polish colors from my hands, I asked if I could just do a walk in she again insisted that I couldn't and I needed an appointment. After these rudeness I encountered I no longer wanted to make an appointment and took my business else where. I'm really disappointed with the quality of the mani-pedi I received at Bliss Nail Spa, even despite the ladies being very sweet and attentive. Within a day of getting my nails done, the color was already chipping and had fallen off, showing uneven edges both at the cuticle line and at the edge of my nails. I also had 2 hangnails appear when I had zero going in! Maybe because it's pretty dim inside they can't quite catch all the details well, but that's no excuse when paying over $50 (plus tip) for a mani-pedi!! I wish I could've gone back to get a refund because this is not acceptable service for what they are charging. I was very surprised and not in a good way. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because again the people there are very kind - but for the quality, this is more what I would expect from a super cheap mani-pedi joint. To start I communicated I wanted a fill with gel manicure and a gel pedicure but was asked three other times after if I wanted a DIFFERENT service. Then I was separated from my friend whom I was getting pedicures with and when I asked if I could sit next to her I was told "no, you can see her from here". "Here" was at a desk so my fingernails could get done while I got a pedicure,which is understandable, but also nowhere near where I could see my friend let alone chat with her. But check out the picture to see my mobile pedicure. I was facing one way for my pedicure and had to turn my body 90 degrees to face the correct way for my manicure. It was uncomfortable. She was very detailed and took her time. I got a basic manicure (gel nails), pedicure, and designs on both my hands and toes for $67. There is a huge selection for gel colors! They also carry a lot of OPI which happens to be my favorite nail polish because it seems to last a lot longer than other brands. I am kind of picky with my colors and wanted something really fun. Kate was so patient and allowed me to take my time choosing. She even helped match the berry color I was specifically looking for. When the first color I picked for my manicure came out too light, she graciously removed it and helped me pick out a better color. Overall, this was a great experience. The end results for my nails and pedicure was great. They massage your legs for a long while and it was heavenly. The nail tech did my nails just like I want them. The only draw back to me was that they said they could do them at the same time. The other salons would let you relax in a massage chair for the pedicure while the nails were done sitting next to the massage chair. They rolled up a tub of water and while my nails were being done at a table, I had to twist my body to have my pedicure which was extremely uncomfortable and kept sliding down the chair. read more

I have pretty beat up feet from running and tight shoes, so my toenails are ingrown and very painful. She fixed them completely. And pain-free. I originally had a terrible experience with a nexgen manicure and voiced my opinion on Yelp. However, the manager reached out to me almost immediately and handled the situation very professionally and gracefully. I would recommend that if you are to get a manicure and pedicure done, to at least make sure the manicure is done outside the pedicure room so that the nail technician can get use of the brighter lighting. I truly feel that my initial experience was an error that was due to the lack of lighting. I returned to have a pedicure a few days ago and had an overall wonderful experience. Since i had to choose one star I guess I could say convenient location. This place is terrible. The only covid protection is to squirt your hand with sanitizer at front desk. Then you are seated four feet away from others in chairs. Don, my manicure man, has mask not even covering his nose and he is about two feet away from my face. These people only speak to clients to tell you to put your feet in the water etc. Then non stop they babble in their foreign language to each other. When I got in my car after terrible not improved cuticles and foot calluses I found the chemical smell was so intense I ran home to scrub myself and remove poorly applied polish. Tried this salon after reading reviews for about 10 nails salons. This was was nice, smaller than most here which I think makes the atmosphere more cozy (certainly more personal). The staff were very nice and accommodating which is always a plus. The only critique I have is I would rather wait to get my nails done after my toes, not at the same time. Having someone work on my feet and my hands at the same time makes it difficult to enjoy what's going on, lol. The woman who did my feet, Hannah, was very nice but you can see where the first coat and the second coat don't meet (one of my pet peeves). In my opinion it makes the pedicure look sloppy. The woman who did my hands, Mary, was very gentle however the filing is a bit lopsided (not too bad but my nails on my right hand angle more to the left ). I am always hesitant to try a new salon when I get gel polish because you really never know how they are going to remove the old polish. Many places file it down which is so damaging to the nail. My go-to-place in Florida soak cotton balls and wrap them on your nails with foil. This salon however, has you soak your nails in a bowl full of acetone. Essentially the same thing, just without the cotton and foil. I have to admit I didn't prefer this way only because the acetone covered more skin on my hand than I would of liked, and now my hands are super dry. With all that said and the other options available in Argyle, I would go back. read more
