$40-60 I have frequented Bliss for over 3 years. Loyal to only them. My nails got shorter and shorter. I loved them when I first started, but customer service has dropped. I paid for long acrylic/gel nails and got filed shorter than my nail quick. When my sister left a review about her disappointment, they embarrassed my mom by refusing her service. She was completely unaware of my sister's review. She was trying to get an eyebrow wax before her trip to bury my father's ashes in Ireland. She was so upset and embarrassed. This is completely unprofessional. They told my poor mom that they have served us for years, to which I reply "you are welcome". We can go to countless other places, but chose YOU. We paid and tipped you for every service. read more

Quick service, although they filled up quickly just a few minutes after getting in. Did a great job with my daughter's first pedicure in making sure she was comfortable (7 year old girl). Pedicure is over two weeks old and looks great still (gel). Nails were sns over tops because my natural nails were much too short and my tech paid attention to my requests for length and shape. After that same two+ weeks the area she did looks great still. Just gotta get it redone due to my own nail growth! I was told upon leaving the salon, the owner followed me out to sidewalk that he was not happy doing business with me. I asked for explanation and he simply repeated not happy doing business with me. I am reading numerous reviews that read exactly as mine. They should evaluate how they treat new, returning or drop in customers because there are many nail salons around so it's not hard to go on up the street and get kind service without the leers and stink eye as well as the foreign language which without a doubt is full of talking about customers without them understanding. read more

After getting my nails done here for over one year consistently for once a month. I was told I could no longer make an appointment and would be served as a walk in when time permitted moving forward. The only reason I actually came to this nail salon was for Mon. The owner and his wife are never friendly and are very rude and unprofessional. I will not be returning here ever again after being talked to so rudely and with no explanation for why I can't make an appointment moving forward. Also, to add I never missed an appointment and getting in without an appointment isn't always possible here because they will turn you away if they are too busy even if they have multiple hours till they close. read more

The past few times my daughter and I have been here, they acted annoyed when we came in even though we had an appointment. Wednesday, July 24th my daughter and I had pedicure appointments at 5:30. We walk in and immediately, the older lady had an attitude with us. We didn't even have time to look at colors and she was directing us to our chairs. After taking my polish off I was asked to put my foot in the water. Huge mistake, the water was scalding hot. I immediately pulled my foot out and grabbed my foot. She looks at me like I'm crazy then asks if it's too hot. I look at my foot and it's red, very red and was stinging. She never mentioned it pr asked if I was okay. I was also planning on getting a manicure as I had a gift certificate. That didn't make her happy either. After she burned my foot, I just wanted to finish my pedicure and leave, which I did. I understand that mistakes happen but I never received an apology from her or the man, who I believe is the owner. After this visit, we won't be going back. I hate it because it's so convenient. I'm not sure what is going on there but its definitely not the same place it used to be. read more

This morning, (06/14/2024) upon arriving at Bliss Nail Salon (North Church Street location), I was greeted with, "May I please speak with you outside?"  I assumed that I was about to be thanked for how gracefully I handled yesterday's appointment. Yesterday whenever I arrived for my 5:30 pm appointment the salon was extremely busy. So, I offered to return the following morning. Instead, I was informed by the manager that "He was not happy with me, and no longer wanted me as a customer." Since, I'd always been pleased with the service I'd received for over two years. I was hurt, shocked, puzzled, and most importantly, curious as to his reason for not being "happy with me." In my disbelief, I even asked if perhaps he had confused me with someone else. I also asked in all sincerity if there was some issue that could easily be resolved. Despite the tears in my eyes and my persistent plea for an explanation, the manager would only repeat, "I'm not happy with you." I've NEVER been in any type of customer/service situation in which I was DENIED service. I understand that providers have the right to refuse service, and they deserve that right. HOWEVER, an explanation might prevent future issues.  What's so very interesting (and somewhat helpful) is that according to Facebook and YELP, I am not the first Bliss Nail customer this has happened to. Interestingly, other loyal customers have shared having the exact same experience, with the only explanation, "I am not happy with you." I shared the most recent Facebook post that described the exact same experience with the owner, and that post has now been deleted. Obviously, their business is so successful that it's easy for them to refuse to serve loyal customers who live in their community. read more

They are racist! My mom walked in asking to get a pedicure and manicure done and since she doesn't speak or understand English all that well, I had to go there to translate. They had told her to come back another day but when I called a minute later to ask if they were currently taking walk ins, they said yes. I have been going to Bliss regularly for about 7 years with no problems. However this year something has drastically changed. They are no longer talking and being friendly with customers and the last few times I was cut by the drill and my nails were lumpy. The owner was very nasty to my nail tech last time when I was chatting with her. It is obvious they have been told to talk less and work faster. The service and friendliness were all they had going (they are not cheaper or spa-like) so now I'm looking for a new nail salon. read more

Andy checked out my nails, assessed their condition..inquired about my work And recommended the sns nails. He let me pic my color and explained that the finish would be somewhat different then sculpted nails since it's a powder that you dip not that is laid on. Not to sound like a millennial or a boomer....respectfully, if I could give this place 0 stars I would. In fact, if I could give this place negative stars, I would. My sister went just went here and the nail techs were extremely unprofessional and downright rude. If you feel the need to be mean to your customers just because you are, and I quote, "Just so passionate about nails" then perhaps you need an anger management class or a different job that trains you in professionalism. You are not a nice person. And being nice DOES come with the job. I don't care if I sound like a Karen or a not-very-nice person myself because a person that I care about was treated like trash. If it was less than satisfactory service, that's one thing. But harassment of someone who is always graceful and kind???? Oh I WILL say something. And don't think this won't be reported. It will. Although they did do a good job I will jot be returning because of how poorly they treat their customers. A man, who I believe may be the owner, cussed at my friend because she went back after two weeks and wanted her nails shorter this time. So bad. It took over 2 hours to get my nails done. I made an appointment, but didn't get into a chair for 20 minutes. After getting to a chair, I sat with my hands in a bag of acetone for an hour before someone else actually sat down to do my nails. The tech was very sweet and the only reason for the one star I'm giving. They talked me into SNS, but didn't understand what I was asking for when I said I wanted pink and whites. I only got pink at first. After explains the white part, She attempted to fix them, but they looked horrible. I just let her finish and left. 2 hours to get my nails done was enough for me. The SNS started popping of after 55 days and turned yellow super quick. read more

I will not go back here even though it is the closest nail place by far to my house. The staff there are rude and short with you with the exception of one younger girl who is very nice I've tried to go here a few times, but never feel welcome and feel like the service was rushed and the staff were rude. I went back today because it was so close to my house, and I was charged $27 for a polish change on my toes only, no pedicure, no Spa just changing the polish! It is like seven to $10 normally in other nail salons. I rarely leave negative reviews so if I'm leaving one, you can believe I had a very bad experience. read more

Not happy with the way my nails look at all. The shape is supposed to be coffin. Some of my nails are quite uneven. The color is cute but shape is everything. The work was subpar at best and definitely not worth $35. Employees were nice but I still didn't feel welcome. The establishment was very clean and smelled very nice and not like super harsh chemicals which is a pro, I guess. I will not be returning here. I've had better work done for less, however I don't mind paying good money for my nails. The work just needs to be great. read more

The most rude and arrogant man I have ever met. they refused to show me their license so I could report them to the state. Made an appointment for 1pm and they refused to do my nails. Come back tomorrow is all he said. Of course I was upset and asked why he was refusing me service. After waiting over an hour for my turn and while waiting soaked off my sns polish I was asked if I could come back the next day to get finished. Since I worked beside them he hoped I understood. Well I pay full price like everyone else and I tip. I am a customer I am not a friend or family that you can just slide to the side. He was very unprofessional and said this in front of everyone so I was very embarrassed that he denied me service in front of so many people. He left me to start on someone else. If he had asked me to come back tomorrow before I soaked off my nails i would have done so happily but you do not start a service and then just leave them looking ugly! My nails and fingers looked horrible and I had to go to another salon to get them finished. I will not recommend this salon to anyone else read more
