I was checked in by the owner herself and then told to wait, which I'm 100% fine with but, she proceeded to seat several others in front of me that also disn't have an appointment. I asked about it and was told that she "forgot about me" after SHE checked me in. I attribute this to the fact that she thought the groups of women in front of me were more money to her than me. He was rude and very much unprofessional. My nails look as hot damn mess. They are uneven, sharp jagged edges with acrylic everywhere. The polish has streaks, bubbles and all around my cuticles, they look as if a preschooler did them and then he had the audacity to charge over $100.00. Yes! I paid because I went to them in a emergency situation needing their services. HOWEVER, I will sweep an ocean with a plastic broom before I EVER give them a thin dime of my money again. As for you Mr/Mrs Sonny you need to ENHANCE and ELEVATE your customer service skills if you intend on staying in this line of work. Worst pedi ever. Nails are uneven, not compared to each other, but nails were not cut straight. An older man did the pedi. I asked for his name, but couldn't understand what he said. Actually, couldn't understand anything he said. When removing the old polish, he repeatedly ran the dremel over my cuticles. I told him it hurt, yet he continued until I pulled my foot away. He was in a hurry and it showed. When he used the pumice stone, he wore down part of my heel to a wound. This was the roughest, worst pedi ever. Not at all relaxing. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I'd heard this place had gone downhill and now I've experienced it. My friend got a pedi as well. I wanted a nice set of nails for vacations but the tips were put on my fingers with gaps in between in nail and the tip, the shape of the nail was very sloppy and the design was even worse. The staff is very standoff like, they give you side eye and do sloppy work and expect tips. The salon charged me $30 for just polish on my toes, no pedicure or anything extra. I had this lovely lady working on my pedicure but she was a little rough while fining, she filed in my skin and it resulted in a minor laceration on the knuckle of my toe but other than that it was an amazing experience, the environment is very clean and luxurious. Went for a fill in, ended up getting a full set (which I did not need). The tech was struggling to get the old set off, i was in a lot of pain, but thought that was normal. got the new set in and after my hands and nail hurt so bad. a few days past and my right hand pinkie began to bother me, so bad that i could not move it, it was bright red, hot to the touch, and throbbing. upon my research, i found that it is not ideal to get a new after having an old set taken off. i am not a nail technician so I did not know this and that I most likely have nerve damage on my pinkie because of this. my pinkie is still extremely sore and bruised. I ended up paying OVER $100 for my services and i'm extremely upset! I will not be coming back :( this was such a scary experience update: it has been a week, my nail is beginning to come off. First of all, they charge to take off your nail polish that they will be changing- so remove before coming if you decide to go. They are very rude when you do not understand what they are saying. When you get a pedicure they will cut nails, but not shape so they look terrible. The atmosphere is nice and clean, but will not be returning. Today while asking for another polish color because she was unsatisfied with how it looked on her, she was harshly scolded and yelled at in front of everyone by the owner for being "difficult"She is always respectful, kind and more than nice to everyone there so this utterly shocked and confused her. She was embarrassed and unfairly made uncomfortable in front of everyone in the salon. I truly don't understand if a tech has an appointment scheduled for 12:15 why the hell would you give them a walk in at 12? I have heard the same experience has happened to multiple people and they need to fix it or not even allow appointments to be made. I've been going here for two years, but I'll never go again after today. I had an appointment for my bridal nails at 1 PM. The dude cut the skin around my toenails BADLY and charged me callus removal without performing the service. THEN, I move on to my manicure. I sit in this woman's chair for TWO HOURS as she proceeds to give me the worst shaping of my entire life. The icing on the cake was that she kept leaving me in the chair while she answered texts and gossiped with other nail techs. Finally, I spoke up and told her she was making me late for my waxing appointment. She told me to go ahead - she would hold her chair for me and finish up when I got back. I was gone 10 mins. Came back and she's taken another client. Told me I'd have to wait another hour. At this point I tried to pay for my pedicure and half of a manicure and leave, as she hadn't even polished or finished shaping them after almost three hours. The owner insisted that I owed her $95. As I argued, she interrupted to say "It's $105 now or I call the police!" .........I paid my bill and left. Went next door to JC salon, was seen immediately, served a complimentary margarita, and the nail tech fixed my atrocious nails for only $10. She then made me a complimentary cuticle scrub to take home since Bliss cut me so bad! WILL be returning to Wychell at JC Salons. NEVER will recommend Bliss again.
