I've been going to a nail place for years in Franklin lakes but my girl is out of the country and I desperately needed someone for a pedicure. My girlfriend recommended Bliss because of their spa pedicures and I immediately had to try it. She raved about the jelly spa pedicure and of course, that's exactly what I got. I made an appointment for 1030am the day before so I walked in and was taken care of right away- not that they were super busy, but it was nice not having to wait in case they were busy. I chose my color and sat down on one of 6 or 7 pedicure lounges and my nail tech began working on my legs. The jelly pedicure is amazing! Just soaking my feet in this weird gelatinous substance felt amazing and she rubs it all up and down your legs while massaging your calf. She makes sure that she gets in between your toes as well. Once that's done, she rinses off the jelly and scrubbed my legs with this exfoliant that smelt amazing. That and then a quick hot stone massage really relaxed my muscles. For a small nail shop in Paramus, the services weren't bad at all. I spent about 45 mins there from start to finish and got a quick neck massage when I went to get my toes dried. I do wish that my cuticles were worked on a little bit more along with my ingrown nails on my big toe, but for what they did and the spa pedicures as an option, it was definitely worth it. I will come back again to try the rest of the spa pedicures! read more

i have been going to bliss nails getting a simple gel manicure every time. and often, it's just fine, no issues, a four star manicure (depending on who does your nails, sometimes it does hurt a bit). whatever you do, DO NOT GET A DESIGN. i have gotten nail designs at other places before, and made the mistake of trying here. i showed her a picture asking if it would be possible (a simple polka dot) and she said yes. the monstrosity i left with will definitely be keeping me from coming back ever again. so disappointed. read more

I started going to Bliss in June 2024 and ended in August 2024. Within few visits, the quality and the process used completely destroyed my nails. The nails were filed so hard that they became paper thin. The products that they used burned my nails and my skin, leaving my skin itching, swollen and peeling for fours weeks. The cuts and open wounds were so painful to the point I couldn't use my hands. I went back to the salon after few days of this occurrences to show them what happened. The owner was not there, and the asian lady took a picture of my hands and told me she has no idea what caused it. I canceled my follow up appointment and never went back. Four weeks later, my nails are covered in fungus and look disgusting. Skin is still not completely healed after four weeks. This has been a nightmare. read more

The people here are weird. They seem to all have attitudes and some don't speak a word of English. It's very hard to communicate with them. If you don't make an appointment you will get stuck with the least experienced person they have to do your services. Terrible experience. Not only was it dirty, I had to tell manicurist not to use any of the products she had used from her previous male client ( who obviously had toe fungus.) She was going to use the same pumice to scrub the back of my heels. I think she fudged it up on purpose when applying the polish. Very sloppy and red all around the cuticle. worst pedi I've ever had. Asked for french gel- again- filed them crookedly and looks homemade. I will pay extra and go to Eden's in Washington twp. Shame! read more

I've been here before for a quick eyebrow shape - which by the way, they do very well. I had a little time, so I decided to get a pedicure quickly. First off, polish is great quality. Secondly the woman who had given me the pedicure had done such a great job! She took great care of my cuticles and messaged the pressure points in my foot. I feel like I have brand new feet! It is the day before July 4th and it is a full house, however, she managed to make everyone feel at ease. The staff is polite and hospitable and their skills are unmatched. I'm pleasantly surprised and I think I can speak for everyone here today by saying we are satisfied. I found Bliss on Yelp and based off of mixed reviews, I took a chance. My gel manicure came out SO nicely. They offered a basic gel color selection, all very pink or neutral, no bright or crazy colors were available on the day that I went. The place appeared to be clean and organize and my technician was very attentive to detail and professional. I stopped here on my lunch break from an office nearby and was in and out in about 45 minutes. There were a few other women in there but all were being taken care of and only a couple were waiting to be serviced. This seems like a place that is always busy and is in a great location - easy to get to. read more

I like this place mostly for its location and you can be seen pretty much right away even on busy Fridays and Saturdays. This is because they are usually fully staffed which is great. The location is super convenient for me. I really liked my last visit with Kelly. Also you don't ever see them trying to dilute their nailpolishes which is a huge plus. Not the cleanest in town, but again the most convenient. Wish they had more choices for the Vinylux nail polishes. 3.5 stars :) read more

My girlfriend and I have been coming to this establishment for quite sometime as it had been convenient as well as offered pretty minimal wait times. Unfortunately the service provided is not quality, we have both experienced bleeding on both our fingers and toes due to rough treatment and cutting to close on the cuticle. On more then one occasion my eyebrows were left uneven from a waxing. I stopped having them wax, as i figured their forte was nails.... I suppose I was wrong as when getting a pedicures I have to request on more then one occasion to please be more gentle. I am not certain if the staff does not understand me or if I was being ignored, as I had to repeat it quite a few times. In addition the staff will not cut your toe nails, the last two times I went for a pedicure they would solely file, when it was apparent my toes needed a cut. I asked several times to have them cut and was refused. Very upsetting treatment, there are many nail locations in Ridgewood which have gotten nice reviews will have to explore. read more

I am a person who cannot get a gel manicure to last on my nails for more than 5 days. I came here to get a gel manicure and for the first time ever, I feel like I got my money's worth. It has been 2+ weeks and the gel manicure has lasted, which is a miracle considering how rough I am with my hands. I appreciate how friendly and kind the staff is. I wish that there was more of a color selection for regular polish.. there is barely any OPI. If you are looking for a luxurious spa experience, I wouldn't suggest this salon because there are other salons in the area that offer a more tranquil vibe/experience, however, if you're looking for a quick and great manicure/pedicure, this is a great option. read more

I use to love this place now I just like it. I come a distance to get my nails done here because it's spacious clean and quick. They give a nice neck and back massage with every manicure. However it does depend on who you get some just wipe lotion on you and call it a massage others will relieve you of your tension. The woman I had today completely skip the neck massage and I had to tell one of the workers and they did it instead. This very woman cut my nails way below the normal level and now my nail bed is exposed. It's very uncomfortable. Another negative is the $29 extra they charge to get gel added to your spa pedicure. I have been here before and had a satisfactory experience. This time, however, it was not good. The technician had a very heavy hand cutting my cuticles, and I was left bloody and sore on several fingers. Once that happened, I was just waiting for the experience to be over. She seemed to slop the polish on, and did not take any time to be careful. The result had gel on the edges of my fingers. I came here out of convenience, as I had to stay in town for an extra hour. Never had to wait more than 10 minutes as a walk-in. They honor appointments which is great. The Hispanic women they have do a much better job then their Asian counterparts when it comes to pedicures. They are competitively priced for gels and tips. I've been going to Bliss Nails since it first opened back in the early 2000s when I was in high school. Amy and her nail techs done my nails for SO many different occasions--dances, graduations, weddings, vacations, you name it! They always accept walk-ins without an appointment, which is great. Sometimes I've done a walk-in after work and they've even stayed late to accommodate me, but the quality is never sacrificed. They have a great selection of colors in both regular and gel polish (and always help me find matching colors), as well as reasonable prices. The massage chairs are great for relaxing pedicures (I highly recommend the Honey & Milk Spa pedicure, which includes a 15-minute leg massage, hot stone, and callus treatment. So relaxing and my feet always feel amazing after! If you forget flip flops (which I often do) they'll give you temporary ones or wrap your feet so you don't have to ruin your toes on your way home. Nice quick massages after manicures (these always make me want to pay extra for a massage!). I also get my eyebrows waxed here and they always do an awesome job--quick, painless, thorough, and cheap! I tried a free wax at European Wax Center once; Bliss does just as great a job, if not better, in much less time and for a much lower cost. The salon also offers free WiFi for clients and a business card visit tracker that earns you $10 off after your 10th visit. I keep meaning to ask about their cash-back rewards program. Salon is always clean, everything is sanitized routinely. And one of the things I love most is that they'll fix my nails if they chip within a few days; I can come back and they'll take care of it for no charge! I used to go to Etopia in Paramus but after an ownership change I was looking for a new place. Bliss Nails has been a breath of fresh air for me. The facilities are chic and modern, always clean, and the staff is very friendly. I have become somewhat of a regular now and they recognize me when I come in, which definitely makes me feel welcomed. I come by whenever I'm free and it always has a good crowd, a testament to the quality of service. On occasion I bring my 4 year old niece and the women working here are so friendly and accommodating to her, definitely a kid friendly atmosphere. Bliss has a large menu of speciality pedicures which include different oils, treatments, and massages, my favorite is the jelly (which comes with a 20 minute leg massage) but if you're looking to splurge I would recommend the honey and milk pedi. All in all I continue to be impressed with the service I receive at this salon. I normally don't write reviews but I had to because my experience was so horrible. Found this place on yelp because it was a middle meeting ground for a friend from college and I to meet up and get a pedicure. The place looks really clean, and the chairs are great but the woman who did my toes was horrible. I was talking to my friend to my right and I felt a pinching while she was doing my big toe, but ignored it because that happens. It wasn't until she RIPPED whatever she was messing with before out of the side of my nail where it meets my skin. I didn't realize it because my previous nail color was red, but I was BLEEDING. A LOT. AND SHE PUT MY FOOT BACK IN THE WATER AND FINISHED MY PEDICURE. It wasn't until I got home to admire it that I realized how much blood there was, and when I cleaned it up it kept bleeding. I cleaned it up with alcohol, hydrogen peroxide and bandaged it with some Neosporin hoping that would be fine. Nope, a week later it's swollen, red, and very sensitive to touch. I found myself in urgent care where luckily I caught it in time to just be treated with antibiotics. The doctor said my nail was cut so deep I may form an ingrown toenail - and I did. I'm mostly confused because she never took a nail clipper to my toes, so she must have ripped the side of my nail with the cuticle cutter. This could have been avoided if she just used the nail clipper. Anyway, if you want a reckless pedicure by people who don't know what they're doing, go here. My friend who didn't have the same problem I did agreed that it was simply a low quality job by people who didn't know and or didn't care. read more

I usually call ahead and make an appointment but walk ins are also welcome and I have never had to wait long. Salon is nice and clean and an in easy location to get to. I have been coming to bliss nails since my last place closed in the fall of 2017. I am thrilled and have nothing negative to say about this nail salon. The place is neat and clean. I use the same nail technician every other week and have become her standing appointment. She is gentle on my sensitive nails and has offered suggestions on how to keep the color gel on. My regular spa pedicure was mediocre with barely any soak time. A lukewarm towel and weak leg massage. Midway through this pedicure there a change and another gal polished my toes.? Odd. And certainly not Blissful. The salon itself appears clean and the instruments are sealed which is always a good sign in my book. read more

The owner, Amy did my pedicure. From the beginning, she seemed annoyed with having to do it. She rushed though and the nail polish which I paid five dollars extra for looked thick and chunky after drying. When i pointed it out, the owner said she would put another coat on it which would only make it worse. Since they were closing, I said I would come back the next day. When I returned, the owner directed another employee to redo my nail polish. After we started, the owner came over and said the girl should only have redone my two big toes. Are you kidding me?
