I paid $100 for nails that looked absolutely nothing like my inspiration picture. she added glitter, extra lines, very uneven dots, my picture had a flower in it AND gems, she didn't do EITHER of those. Don't even waste your time with this place. Right before my engament photos I went to get nails, and idk who I had, but she seemed very rushed and I left in pain. My fingers were in pain for like 3 days. Also I had an appt last night for two pedis, and called in right before and told them I was going to be 15 mins late, and they wouldn't take us cause they had to leave 30 mins before closing. Now, before I speak about my last experience, Ann has previously done my nails and she was extremely personable, kind, reassuring, and did incredible and this review has nothing to do with her and I highly recommend her. This salon, without a doubt, has great nail techs that know what they're doing and are efficient with it but the man who sits on the right and answers most of the phone calls lacks some serious customer service training. Don't dare to ask him to change a polish color, 1 nail in and before curing because he will slam the polish bottle on the table and just not acknowledge you or polish curing wrong in the light will result in him aggressively yanking your finger and forcefully placing in it off positions. At the end, when it came time to pay he fully ignored me and waited for the other lady to do so. Now, I do believe in tipping especially for services such as nails, hair, etc. but that doesn't mean you simply deserve a tip for doing your job that you chose to do. So, due to my experience, I decided not to tip and just pay for the service and in doing so resulted in the girl checking me out telling my artist and him giving me a horrible glare. In the end, i decided to give a small tip simply due to the quality of work but in my eyes that is still not a good reason to add a tip. Treating someone like a human being shouldn't even be a good reason to tip. I do not see myself coming to this salon ever again and I would only recommend it if you enjoy people treating you like crap and then expecting a tip out of it. read more

I love how this is very close to home! This first time experience was great. Upon entering our reservations were immediately confirmed and were told to wash our hands in the sink area before our appointments started - which confirms to me that they are very aware of COVID and have taken great precautions with this pandemic. My friend was seen immediately and sat down to get her manicure started. I spent about maybe five to seven minutes looking at all the color options for my pedicure. What I did notice as well (maybe for all nail salons, not just this one?) that when you pick your color, you don't pick out an actual nail color bottle anymore, but they just give you the different fake color nails that have held together by a metal ring - maybe it's safer that way due to COVID and not everyone touching the same nail color bottle? But yes, that was very different from the last time I visited a nail salon. I was taken to the backroom for my pedicure, in which I was one of three people who were getting a pedicure at the time I came in. The gal who worked on me was pleasant and she was quiet, to herself, and did her job. She was gentle and didn't give me any discomfort in handling my feet. Grateful she wasn't rough, as some gals are (from previous experience in other nail salons). I had a gel pedicure so it can last longer, and it can dry faster. The prices are competitive and I would definitely come back here again! The place is clean and you can tell they take pride in their work. read more

Ever since moving from Houston, it was hard for me to find a place that had the same quality of work that I had done in Houston. It took me about a year in Utah County to finally settle with a place that I could call home again. This private local shop is owned by a family that works hard day and night to have that customer satisfaction. During this pandemic, they've adjusted and implemented rules and structures in their facility to adhere to all CDC regulations to ensure safety of their clients and staff. The cleanliness to the facility is superb and the staff are friendly and are personable. They know who you are and what you want every time you walk in. With their enforced guidelines, it allows them to maintain a healthy schedule so that they can achieve these standards for all of their clients in a timely manner. Loved my nail tech Mariah and recommended people to her multiple times. Very nice salon and always clean. Mis-scheduled one appt. (either on my end or theirs) and turned to a bigger deal than it needed to be. Offered to work with them on getting a new appt and was pushed for me to figure out the dates that the nail techs were available. Poor customer service. They cater more to a specific type of person (young white girls) Jason and Dan - I don't expect a response and don't want a response. Ann did my nails today, and did an excellent job! Her recommendations were great & she was so kind and personable. She also checked in a lot to make sure the shape and color of the nail design were right at each step. She made me feel really comfortable, especially because my hands get sweaty sometimes and she was really understanding and accommodating about that. Elissa did my gel manicure and I am very pleased! This was my first visit ( recommended to me by my sister) and I loved it. I called and they had a cancellation for the next day so I was able to swoop a morning spot! The vibe is relaxing and it's extremely clean. You can tell how new the salon is because of the decor and the odor reducing vents. Right now they are appointment only with masks optional. I am very appreciative of my technician's flexibility due to my nails being too short for some of the design options I brought in, we landed on a unique half and half angle and it's perfect to match the dress I'm wearing this weekend to a friends black tie wedding! I'm not a fan of my feet but the girl who did my toes shaped them and I could tell the whole time how attentive she was to details. First off, I do not recommend the salon at all. I went in here for a little self-care day to get my toes and nails done and I just had a baby two months ago so of course I had to bring her with me. As soon as I walked in I was given evil stares by the men upfront I'm assuming because I had a baby in a stroller with me. I went back to get my toes done and the woman who did my toenails was extremely kind and was asking questions about my baby which I thought was nice. I went to the front to wait for my acrylic full set and was looked at with disgust most of the time. It was finally my turn to get my nails done and my nail tech was not very personable and just overall rude. He did not engage in conversation with me at all even when it came to how I wanted my nails done. My baby began to get fussy so as he was switching hands I was using the other hand to care for her. I tried to talk to the nail tech to make things more personable and comfortable and was ignored the whole entire time and just given sassy looks and short rude responses. My nails came out extremely crooked and not how I wanted them at all and when I told him about the crooked thumb nails completely he dismissed me. He said he would fix it and he never did. My nails are more crooked than a politician and he didn't seem to care about fixing his problem and having me leave as a happy customer. He didn't care for my cuticles and trim them or anything it's like he just glued the damn nail on and put some acrylic, filed it and sent me walking. He just seemed like he wanted to get me out of there because I had my baby with me. I do not recommend the salon if you want to have a personable comfortable experience with your nail tech and if you have young children that you have to bring with you. read more

I drive 45 minutes to meet my friend at bliss. I was 11 minutes late and walk in to Dan (the owner) yelling at me saying I can sit next to my friend but they will not see me because I'm late. I understand if they are busy and they didn't have anyone to help me but there was one other person in the entire store. I try saying well can you just change my nail color not even do a full pedicure? And they said no they won't help me because I'm late. They say they have a group of 4 people coming and so they won't have time for me. K great. As I'm sitting there talking to my friend I go to the bathroom and see 3 of their employees all on their phones!!!!!! for 30 whole minutes while my friend gets her nails done. I understand if everyone was busy but they were clearly trying to prove to me that being late is wrong over earning a profit Needless to say I will be never coming back. Dan learn how to run a nail salon. Every other time I have waited for 10 minutes to get my nails done but glad to know it doesn't go both ways Also let me add that was my 4th time at bliss. The man (the owner?)who I spoke with was so rude and condescending to me as I answered questions as to "what kind of manicure I wanted?"Like, I don't the eff know, just a manicure!.... So knowing that I would be doing business with someone who clearly could learn a lesson in friendly communication skills, I have serious doubts that I would be comfortable in an establishment like that. She fixed an amateur job done elsewhere (which resulted in fat, thick, missed spots and nicks) BUT Anne was gentle, made sure she got the right nude for my skin tone, helped me relax and was careful about drying (not rushing me even though she was quick). I'm so pleased with the salon's cleanliness, careful care for what I wanted and they speak English so I could communicate what I didn't want from the other salon. I have come here since they opened. (Not just myself, but my 3 daughters as well.) Today I arrived 8 minutes EARLY for my 11:30 appointment- which I called to schedule 5 days ago. When I arrived, the owner, Jason, said my appointment was for 11 (it absolutely was NOT for 11- because I would not have made it for that time since I had to drop my boys off prior, and would not have been able to make it by then.) He pointed to his appointment book, said "No, you late," then literally turned his chair away from me and pretended I was not standing in front of him, completely ignoring me. I love this nail salon! I usually go to another place where it takes 3 hours for me to come out of there with a manicure and pedicure! Here it only took 1 hour!! I know it might be because they aren't that busy yet due to being new but I hope the service continues to be quick. The place is beautiful! Very luxurious looking. Everything is branded with their logo! Even the staff had shirts and aprons with their logo. I also liked that the staff had name tags! I like knowing who does my nails. Their was an older gentlemen going around cleaning chairs and picking up nails colors and towels. I think he was the owner and showed he really cares to keep his place nice! Bao did my nails. I loved them! I think he did an awesome job! He used hot stones on my pedicure which was okay I just thought it would be more of a wow feeling but not really. He dipped my hands in wax after my manicure and I love that! Lastly, he wasn't talkative but I didn't really mind it. They had a fridge but I wasn't sure if the drinks were complimentary. I think a sign with a hint would be nice. The place is also pretty big. They have a lot of stations. You can tell a lot of detail was put into this nail salon. I highly recommend you take your money to a place that will be kind to you since you are paying them after all. I missed an appointment because my grandma died and then months later I got sick. I've been going here for close to 2 years because it was close, convenient and my nails look fine enough ( not great and don't ask for something different while she is doing it. One particular person gets very offended and then makes you pay more to have her get your nail shape right. Anyhow, by far the least professional place I've ever been. The two boys at the front are NEVER kind and always act like they are better than- it gets old really quick. One of them actually hung up on my today when I was explaining to him. HE HUNG UP! He's an unprofessional child. When trying to reschedule my missed appointment I was told that I am disrespecting them, which set me off because I always tried to be kind and ask about family etc. I definitely won't be going back to this place. We all deserve to go out to get our nails/pedi etc and have it be a fun, positive experience. Find somewhere else to go read more
