I bought a lot, so I got a discount and they'd probably screw me over for that. I am making necklaces for a children's hospital fundraiser. I am using semi-precious stone beads/freshwater pearls, nice glass. This is coming out of my own pocket. I would be ashamed to use these beads, let alone take the time to string them. I learned my lesson and paid the "stupid tax".

The staff person immediately was curt and when asked to check with her manager, she returned to say all sales were final. The item I purchased was discounted but it did not say that it was a final sale on the merchandise or my receipt- which was never even asked for. I like to shop local when I can. But local businesses who refuse to kindly work with the consumer is why it's not easy to do so -their loss.
