Went here after work with my coworkers as this is the salon most of them go to. The salon itself is very nice and clean. The staff are very friendly as well. My coworker suggested we all get dip nails, so the lady at the desk directed us to the nail colors for dip. It was a bit overwhelming, lol; however, I hadn't been to the nail shop in a while and didn't have a color in mind before I go so I blame myself for that. I found a color, and then we all were sat down. I ended up getting nail extensions (short) with my dip set and adding swirl design. Overall, I think they did a good job. My only complaint is it felt like they were rushing because it was 5 of us and an hour and 30 minutes before close. The job was kind of rushed so the shape of my nail was compromised. It wasn't horrible, but they weren't as square as I'd like. I still liked my nails. I just wish they would've taken a bit more time with us. read more

The place is nice But The people are a bit rude. they were very aggressive on me and my family members nails and cut my sister twice on her nails. The water was really hot and they weren't doing much to even help out with that and I told them a few times that it was really hot. The nails didn't even look good at all and when we went to the front to let our nails dry in the purple light, they all rushed to the front to make sure we wouldn't walk out without paying which made us feel very uncomfortable. I do not recommend this place and it's very expensive with a lot of hidden fees. read more

I have started going here after several years at another place. I use Vi as my nail tech. She always does an excellent job. They take the time to soak and to push your cuticles back. They also trim your cuticles which other places do not. I get a dip powder manicure, it usually last me between two and three weeks. I am very hard on my hands. Very easy to choose a color from their wide selection on their color board. Only negative is it's always very cold in there, and I have to bring a sweater or a jacket. read more

I was so disappointed in this place. I walked in and waited for an hour until I was seen while others came in after me without appointments and got their pedicures. The girl who cut my toe nails dug into my skin and so I ended up leaving with my toe throbbing. I then got a simple polish change with gel and I asked for my nails to be shaped and she said no that my nails were too short for that. It made me mad because I have gone to several other places and they have always been able to. The girl did a good job painting my nails but two days later the gel peeled off on three nails. When I got to the register I was astonished by the cost. I ended up paying almost $100 for a basic pedicure and polish change for nails. ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT!! This place is way overpriced for what you get and the polish peels off so easily. read more

I had my nails done here four days ago and one broke. They charged me $5 for a repair but what is worse they were unprofessional in the process. They spoke Vietnamese the entire time and when they asked me to do something there was no please or thank you. These nail techs need lessons in how to treat customers. They seem to be only visiting with other techs while they are doing the customer's nails. I understand workers visiting with other techs some time but this was most of the time they are with the customer. They also refused to give me a receipt if I paid cash. So disappointed. I was a regular here for several months and always had a good experience. They quickly went downhill leading up to this - they knew I was getting married last October, and in around August the owner of the salon suggested I have my wedding party get ready there. He offered to book the back private room so we could get manis and pedis and he'd have champagne and reserve a couple employees so we could go at once and make a day of it. Once I got a final headcount I gave it to them over one month in advance. I asked if they needed a deposit but he said since I was a regular that's not necessary, took the names, services and reserved us. I work our next door so a week before the wedding I went in to say hi and make sure everything was set - he said yes and was excited. We get there the day of our services and everyone looked shocked. The owner looked shell shocked like we'd never spoken. He started grabbing us and spreading us all over. No big deal, not worth fussing about but was very disappointing as I'd built it up to the bridal party that we'd be treated special and have our own room with champagne and made sure to bring a lot of extra cash to tip accordingly for them to go so above and beyond. The owner then tells me he'll see me after his current client who had just started. He went 45 minutes past my appointment time and it got to the point that I had to just go with a new employee to not miss my rehearsal dinner and the nails were average at best. Nothing he suggested or promised happened. Oh and my 15 year old sister asked for a basic mani and they ended up giving her a gel acrylic and the price went from $20 to $55- she didn't understand the mani but I was abundantly clear several times about who was getting what. It made me late for our hair appointment and thus late to my own rehearsal dinner. Our booking was at 1, I wasn't seen until 2:15 and had to go with a new artist who didn't do my trial run so it came out nothing like I wanted for my wedding day, after so much talk. We were on a first name basis at this point and they didn't so much as apologize. I've left out names because I feel bad, but it was such a disappointing and more importantly STRESSFUL start to the wedding weekend. I hate bridezillas and I debated leaving this review but I'd want to know what I was getting into. I would have gone elsewhere if I knew the owner would not come through on anything we were promised. Beware, they charge more than the listed prices on their menu, which was a bit surprise at check out. The menu makes no mention of changing for these "additional" services that are typically included in basic nail salon service. They got very angry when I asked them about the extra charges and pointed out to them that the additional charges are not listed and are a basic expectation for the service request at any nail salon. read more

I've been a regular at Blissful Nail Spa for a while, even before they were Blissful at their location across the way. I'd schedule a pedicure with them every two weeks, in and out, no problem. Recently, I decided to start doing Acrylic Nails with them. My first experience was AWFUL! The young lady that did my nails did not do any pre nail prep (removing cuticles, buffing, filing, trimming); she just started putting the nails on. I HAD TO CALL HER ATTENTION TO ONE THAT WAS EVEN CROOKED. Had I not said anything, she would have kept going. I then told her I wanted the shortest length possible. When she finished, they looked like knubs. I told her that they looked awful and she said it wasn't her work but my fingers! Not wanting to make a scene, I paid and left. Today, August 23, 2020, I went back for a do-over and spoke with the manager to advise that I wasn't happy and show him the previous work. He informed me that it was hard to tell by now, but he would certainly get someone to do it right. After receiving my pedicure, I was placed in the nail salon to wait, and wait, and wait, until finally I got up (mind you with acrylic remnants all over my hands) and asked to pay for my pedicure so I could leave. He said, oh, your nail tech is ready. I'm like, I have been waiting for 30 min! I have to go. He said he only had three girls that knew how to do Acrylic. FIRST OF ALL, if you are running a business, you need to be adequately staffed. I promptly paid and received same day service elsewhere - AND MY NAILS LOOK GREAT!!!! Watch out! Be prepared to spend over 100 bucks on nails, pedicure, and eyebrow wax. I pay $49 in Arizona for the same exact services I got here. That is absurd! The West Coast is usually way more expensive for everything compared to Louisiana. Maybe they charged me for wine that I didn't accept. I am glad I didn't. They may have charged me for that as well. Okay, so perhaps I should have looked around for prices, but I figured a few dollars more or less would be my final bill, but double the price I never expected. Sure, they were super nice and my feet are soft, but my nails look lumpy and NO! It isn't my fingernail that is lumpy.
