I truly do not like anything besides using my real nails since I can not get used to long nails and the damage it causes my nails to get longer nails takes months to recover from it, that's just me. The color polish chips easily and fast with daily house chores and at work constantly typing, they don't last. This time she did gel clear polish, my nails look pretty and natural with a shine to them. I can never keep my nails long enough either but Ana was able to get my nail shape beautifully, clean up my cuticle, and the massage was heavenly! For my pedicure, Tina was amazing! She took her time, removed calluses and shaped my toe nails beautifully. I do not like long toe nails, the shorter the better. She filed them down and cleaned my toe nails cuticles beautifully. Her massage, she really has amazing hands. My lower legs were definitely taken care of. My son and husband joined me for Valentine's Day, they enjoyed their pedicures! The hubby said he almost fell asleep with the amazing foot massage, paraffin wax, and hot stone massage. Our son is autistic and they definitely went the extra mile to get him comfortable with the pedicure. If he was not ok with it they stoped to get him comfortable. A few things like the paraffin wax, he did not like and they let him feel it first to see if it was something he would enjoy but he was not feeling it. Not the experience I hoped for. I visited this salon for a…read moredip removal and a pedicure, and unfortunately, I left feeling incredibly uncomfortable. When I explained that soaking my hands in a bag of acetone irritates my skin, the technician dismissed my concern, saying that wrapping each finger individually "takes too long." I calmly expressed that I needed to be mindful of my body and health -- something I don't believe should be up for debate during a service. Rather than accommodate this in a respectful way, she wrapped my entire hand in a large piece of foil like a mitten and poured acetone over it. At the same time, both she and a colleague began speaking to each other in another language, and while I can't say for certain, it felt clear they were speaking about me. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary. I made the decision to leave, and when I tried to dry my feet (as I had just started a pedicure), the technician abruptly pulled the towel away, saying it was "only for hands." I walked out with wet feet and a really negative impression. My daughter was with me and even she commented on how tense and unpleasant the interaction was. She told me she appreciated that I stood up for myself, which, at least, was a small silver lining. I wasn't trying to be difficult -- just trying to take care of my skin -- and I left feeling dismissed and disrespected. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone who values being heard and treated with basic courtesy.

The kid's chairs are located in a back room that uses to be what they called a "man cave". Looks like this place used to be a bar because there are several bars throughout. As a licensed aesthetician, I know that the proper way to walk someone is first cleanse the skin with witch hazel and then put baby powder to make sure the wax does not stick too much to the skin. Well I don't typically wax I get threaded but there's nowhere in Tomball to get threaded, so I settled with waxing right before an event. I went in the place looked nice and clean. I was seen right away. When the lady started dipping into the wax I asked her if she could cleanse my skin first she looked annoyed went to the back room and grab some sort of facial towelettes that look like the ones you use for make up removal. I thought strange that they don't just have some witch hazel. After she cleansed my lip she immediately put on the wax my heart stopped because I was like oh my god where is the baby powder. But by then it was too late. One minute after I was waxed I knew I was burned. The skin was raw and fresh. It was really red but I knew it was gonna look even worse in the following days. I went back and after 10 minutes because my lip was on fire and asked for more aloe. I got another annoyed look and a small squirt of aloe. Honestly I should ask for my money back but I know how that goes in these kind of places. Won't bother. Moral of the story to the owners: I know it's not typical protocol for these kind of nail salons, because sure maybe most people skin is not this sensitive . But you definitely need to have some witch hazel and baby powder in case somebody is sensitive. If you have sensitive skin I really recommend either going somewhere with that waxes correctly or just pray to God that they come up with a threading salon somewhere.
