Jenna came in super strong with lifting hay bales and everything for our western themed party. While setting up, Denise gave me a quick run down of what's being served; their menu catered to everyone from meat eaters, picky eaters, and vegetarians. The venue itself is beautiful to walk in to breathe in natural air, see horses, and play a variety of games from ping pong, basketball, horse shoe, or bean bag toss, and they even offer face painting for the kids and adults too. Their bathrooms are impeccably clean and well managed. Their team did so well in serving the guests of the event! He responded right away to our email, provided a detailed document with his packages and pricing, and scheduled an introduction call to walk through our needs and budget. We got married at Silver Creek Valley Country Club and he has past experience working there for multiple weddings. We got along with him really well and decided to book him as our DJ/MC and included sound/lighting/photobooth/sparklers. PLANNING We had a 1 hour planning call 1 week before our wedding to walk through our timeline, script, important moments, music requests, lighting and music cues, and overall logistics to prepare on-site. We provided him our full song list and marked the ones that were on the do not play list. We also provided him practice videos of our dances and specific time cuts of our songs. He asked all the right questions and was very organized. We felt like we were in very good hands. ON-SITE Hieu and his crew arrived early to set up and were ready to go for the ceremony. We didn't run into any mic/audio issues that I'm aware of and everything sounded great. We were a bit behind on our schedule but Hieu was very flexible and patient as we quickly tried to speed up the program to get back on track. He was very dynamic and had a great entertainer's voice that was clear and easy to understand in both English and Vietnamese. He customized the lighting for different parts of the night and had a sick set up for our group dance that turned into open dancing. We requested a lot of 2010s EDM, hip hop and pop songs and everyone was on the dance floor the whole night! We asked him to play bangers the last hour and it was definitely a party! ADD-ONS: The cold sparklers were AMAZING! I 100% recommend getting them if your venue allows it. We had them light up during our first dance lift and group dance and everyone went crazy! The Magic Me photobooth was also super cool! We were able to customize the background, message and photo print design ahead of time and a team member was there to help take photos and keep the line moving. We received the digital photo gallery a few days later and it included both standard and animated GIF versions. BONUS: Their team took a super awesome video reel of our wedding highlights and posted on their social channels.
