Tony and Tina are the most fabulous nail techs! They go out of their way to make sure the customer has an extremely positive experience. They are up to date on all the newest trends and styles when it comes to manicures and no chip. They are very good artists-very creative! I also appreciate that if I don't know what I would like to do with my nails, they always have great suggestions. The rest of the staff are also very skilled, but Tony and Tina are my favorites! The salon is extremely clean and very quiet. For pedicures, you have your choice of multiple different types, based on how much pampering you would like. A decent manicure at best. I had just had my engagement ring cleaned professionally and he didn't even give me the chance to take it off before rubbing lotion all over it. They seemed like they were in a big hurry, jerking my hands around and putting them in the dryer aggressively. The nail tech didn't clean the nail polish off my skin after they came out of the no chip dryer. My mom also had a negative experience. The nail tech filed my moms nails down when she told him she didn't want them filed and said, "I don't care how you what your nails filed." Her nails are jagged on the ends where he filed them. My sister had a good experience, her lady was really nice and she didn't have anything negative to say. We were asked to leave a positive review so I'm assuming that is where all the 5 star reviews are coming from. read more

I always like going to Blizz for pedicures and the dip manicures. They do quality work, the people are pleasant, the place is clean and organized. It can sometimes be loud. After lockdown for coronavirus, I was nervous. However, everyone wore a mask including the other clients. They weren't taking walk-ins and the appointments and the stations were sufficiently distanced. They took everyone's temperature when they came in. While nothing in life is 100% safe, I feel like they did their best to reduce the risk as much as possible. read more

I've been going for a long time and lately I feel that the nail technicians are rushing to finish nails. This time that I went I left very unhappy and with crooked nails. I called and asked for a refund and to get my nails taken off and the owner said she could not do that, offered to fix them but obviously I wouldn't want the same thing to happen. I've been here before and have been happy with the service and the results. Not today, unfortunately. My pedicure took all of 20 minutes; it was rushed and the cuticle work was really poor. She had to ask if I wanted a 2nd coat. (Yes, thanks; in 25 years I've never had anyone NOT automatically put a 2nd coat on.) I would also have liked a base coat, but that didn't happen. I'll go back because today was the exception, but I will be sure not to get the same tech again. I'd add her name, but she didn't say, I failed to ask, and she has disappeared from sight at the 25 minute mark. (Edit: I now know her name, but don't want to mention it and ding her in case she was just having a bad day.) read more

I decided to try a new place to get my nails done today. we arrived early and it took a little time for us to get sat down but that's alright. Queen started on my nails and i decided i wanted them longer she turned around to talk to Tina and then walked away to help someone else and she didn't do my nails at all. very rude. then Tina is doing my nails and being very rough and asked me how long i wanted them i asked her to go a slight bit shorter and she refused and then charges me for the length when i didn't want them this long to begin with. then i'm looking at my nails and she tells me "it's too late to fix anything now, you'll have to pay more" again, VERY rude customer service. My opinion I pay for MY nails how I like them so that shouldn't be a problem. overall i do not recommend this place, my nails and too thick, lumpy, they hurt and the color is not what i asked for. Tina noticed i did not like them and didn't offer to fix or reduce the price. I have never had such a bad set off acrylics and i was so upset i was crying when i left. read more

Been coming here for about a year.. at first they were okay. Then they would try their hardest to get me to spend more money. One time they did the deluxe pedicure when all I asked for was a regular. Charged me for it too and pretty much told me they weren't gonna do anything about it. I mean I don't know the difference?? I just lay back and let them do they're thing. Now the last time I went there the guy doing my nails was rushing and being sloppy. wouldn't even fix my nails after I asked for straight red and white lines and he made them not even close to straight..had to go back and ask for someone else to fix them I was so upset they looked so bad. And the design was simple. Lastly what will make me never go back is the fact that he pushed my cuticles down so far it hurt when he did it and every single one of my nails cuticles are peeling down. I would rather drive 10 more minutes to go to a place with patience and care for my nails as I'm paying a lot of money and want it to be worth it. The usual one that I go to was just getting too bad for me and when I tried other places , they wouldn't consider my opinion and do it their way . I've gone to this place 3 times now and I can definitely say that this is going to be my go to salon from now on . The atmosphere is great , tony and his staff are absolutely amazing and kind . Couldn't have been more disappointed. This isn't the first time ANY of this has happened, but i won't be returning to let it happen a 4th time. I checked in on the sign in sheet for my 5:00pm appointment at 4:43pm knowing they're usually busy and are always overbooking. 2 5:00pm appointments and a walk in got seated before i did, until they realized i had been sitting for 35 minutes. They then chose to say i didn't sign in and i had to show them i did. I got take back to a station and i was getting an acrylic removal and a new full set put on. I already had some broken nails so it was apparent my nails were thin and damaged. In a previous visit, i had my nails soaked off which was AMAZING. My nail tech decided to use a nail tip to pry under the acrylics i had on to pop them off and MADE ME BLEED on 2 different fingers. They also glued tips onto 2 fingers that had exposed nail beds since they were ripped off and torn short. My nails were done in less than 35 minutes and they didn't turn out bad looks wise, but i'm now stuck applying antibiotic cream to the underneath of my nails 2-3 times a day since it started oozing and is very painful. i will NEVER go back. read more

This was my first time at blizzard nail salon & my first impression was the place looks nice and the employees were nice as well. I had an appointment and walkins were seated before me. Once I was seated the man who did my nails was rude & was refusing to do what I had asked. During the process he rushed all of it, I'm not sure if that was because it was getting close to closing time. He was very rough with grabbing my hands and with the tools. I could then see that that salon was not very clean, and there was no soap to wash your hands. I will not be returning to salon. read more
