I was very dissatisfied with how my acrylic nails turned out. I asked for coffin shape and I got square. No they wouldnt fix it. I didnt want to make a fuss. She dropped tje acrylic brush on the floor and honestly kept using it on me Not hygienic!. This is why I don't go to nail salons. I found clear press on tips on amazon and.gel glue is way better than 65.00 ugly nails. I mean they are ok but just basic. You pay for nice nails. I got something I could do on my own at home. I have avoided nail salons for 6 months and still a bad experience. Save your money. Please! Someone give me an honest review here. Now I will be disappointed for a month. Yes they need to work but retrain your staff. How about use technology to show what the nails may look like when done. Try to produce a better product. read more

Hard a great experience! One of the best pedicures I've had. My technician took his time, asked before he did something- like using the grater on my foot which is a no for me, and gave a great leg rub, as did the other technicians. My aunt heavily recommended this spa, came over for a basic no chip and the owner (Gigi) convinced me to try nail dipping. I was super apprehensive at first because I never tried it, but as she was working on my nails I immediately fell in love. This was such a cool experience. Gigi was nice and personable and answered all my questions - and she is a PRO at what she does. My sis had a different nail tech who also did the nail dipping on her and she was so pleased with the final results. So so so happy and will be coming here on a regular basis now! read more

Terrible experience. I have gone here before and it was okay, not the best but not the worst. After this- Will not go back. Started off bad when I asked her to add the plastic tips since my nails were very very short after having removed my prior nails a week ago. So she didn't even have to spend the time soaking the old ones off! I should have walked out at that point because it just got worse from there.... The tech left cuts on 7/10 fingers with the grinder, I guess she thought that was funny and my punishment for asking to have the tips added. She just kept saying- I have to get the cuticle. Very rude person. Even said she was wasting her time. Terrible terrible experience. The complete opposite of the experience you're looking for at a salon. She didn't do the dip as it's normally done. No lotion/hot towel/hand massage nothing. She wanted to do my nails her way only and as fast as possible and wasn't happy when I made my simple request. Not sure if she was having a day but damn, this was shit service all the way around from beginning to end. And this doesn't even cover the half of her crappy service and behavior while I was there. 0 out of 5 stars to be honest. read more

Absolutely loved the experience here! I called last minute this morning looking for a manicure before the afternoon and they were able to squeeze me in. I got there right on time and they have so many different colors to choose from, I loved it. The owner was so talkative and engaging in conversation, super sweet. The environment was very friendly. I probably have the worst cuticles and my nail tech spent so much time taking care of my cuticles and I really appreciated that. I love how close this is to my new home, I think this will be my regular spot from now on :) UPDATE** I am always so pleasantly surprised in the best possible way whenever i go! I have someone different every time and everyone is still just as amazing as the last! Definitely a great team! I called the other day super last minute asking if they had any openings and they asked if i wanted to come right now so I did, they were so busy, someone in almost every chair, but I got there, picked out my nail color and instantly was sent to a station to sit. I got a toe infection after getting a pedicure. They use the same clippers and other tools on everyone. Never sterilize tools.

I have been going here since it opened, but starting last summer, I started going frequently. It's clean, the staff is friendly, and their prices are unbeatable. I've never had a bad manicure or pedicure (I always do acrylic nails). I've had my manicures/pedicures done by various employees and they have all been good. Linh, Gina, and Tony are all great. I have been going to Linh for almost a year now. I have a summer cottage near their shop, which is how I found GNailsSpa. When my cottage closed in the autumn of 2015, I continued to go to Linh all winter even though the drive from my home is 45 or more. Because of the excellent work of Linh, and Gina's well run, clean, friendly business, it is worth the drive for me. I highly recommend this shop, and I adore this hard-working family. Linh is always ready for me when I arrive for my appointment. She does beautiful work and it lasts three weeks! Her nail art is excellent as well. read more

If I could give this salon less than one star, I would. I came in on a slow day with my sister for a set of gel nails- French, no color. A friend of mine told me they charge 40$ for gel nails and she always does only French there, not only did they do a shit job, but the man charged me 55$ for gel! When their brochure in the salon says 40$. I asked and he said he gave the deluxe gel with French and it is 15$ extra. It been getting my nails done for years and have never heard of this! Not only did they do a shit job, he didn't even make me feel comfortable while grabbing at my hand forcefully and grinding at my fingers with the buffet and the file. I had to go home and reshape the nails he did with a standard emory board file just to get the square, like I told him 3 times. Terrible service, bs prices & one of my nails began lifting and broke off after 2- 3 weeks so I had to go to another salon closer to home to get them taken off and removed, and a no chip instead. I previously went to G Nails Spa, liked Gina, and a few others. Yesterday, ​the older woman​ who did my pedicure was just o.k. However, she told me to sit at the last station, which I did and moved my chair in so my manicure could be done. She pushed the sytlists chair in so far, she hit my right foot, and had to re-do my right middle toenail. Then, she sat at the chair and asked if I was just going to do a re-color or do the cuticles and manicure. I told her that I came in to do both a pedicure and manicure. She asked after my right-hand​ nails, she cut my cuticle on my ring finger enough to bleed. She asked if I wanted someone else, and I said why doesn't she want to continue. She told me a little too late she was new at doing nails​ and wants to please everyone. She also cut my cuticle enough to bleed on my left middle fingernail. There sore enough today​ to put on triple antibiotic. To say the least, the right ring fingernail nail polish is already chipped. I'm not going back there again. I'm looking again for a new nail spa. read more

The staff is so nice! They get to know you personally and address you by first name and make you feel so welcome! They do a great job on everything the acrylics don't break the gel manicures are TO DIE FOR. The salon is clean and organized and they do great eyebrow waxing as well. Just came from here, got a full set. If I would've bought some press on nails it would look better. This is the worst nail service I have ever received. The nails are uneven, there's no arch and she didn't even know how to shape them. The girl that did my nails has no business doing acrylics. Has potential. Made two appointments for 11:30 but only one of us got our manicure. We left because they couldn't get to the second. 85 degrees outside but no A/C. Manicure is way overpriced at $15...super short and little attention paid. $18 including tip felt like robbery. Will find another salon in the future. read more

OK. I will be fair and say that my nails look amazing and she (not sure of her name. Niki i think) did a great job. She was friendly and the others were too. My ding on the score is I don't think it was very clean. I was seated in Station 1 attached to the check out counter. Nail polish bottles were everywhere. The previous patron, or someone, had a juice box that was still sitting on my side of the station that was left there until after I sat down. I went to put my purse on the floor, and it was disgusting, like it had not been swept for days. The station still had nail dust from the previous manicure on the edges of the station. The checkout desk looked very cluttered with garbage, lotions and nail polishes. I recently moved into this area and wanted to give them a try. I will say that I may continue to drive to my previous salon in McHenry, as the cost was the same, but cleanliness is so important. Perhaps it was because the boss was not in. Who knows. Again, not dinging the people or the wonderful job on my nails, just not happy about it not being clean.
