I made a Friday morning appointment here before we made our way from Naples to Boca. It was conveniently located next to the Ritz Tiburon where we were staying for the week and definitely easier than dealing with straightening my own curls in the Florida humidity. Gracey was my fabulous stylist- she was lovely to chat with, was fast (I was in and out in 30 minutes) and made me look like I hadn't been on the water slides with my kids all week. They were pretty busy on this particular Friday morning, but it was also season in Naples so I guess to be expected. The blowout lasted several days until my kids dragged me on some more water slides in South Florida. I love a good blowout salon and would definitely try this one again when in the area. read more

I have gone there multiple times for my gender reveal, maternity shoot, birthday party, etc. and been more than satisfied every time. I cannot speak any higher of this place. I am in town visiting for a special occasion. Staying on Marco Island, I literally called this morning three hours just to see if somehow anyone could squeeze me in, come to find out they could! The receptionist could not have been any more kind in not only accommodating me but helping me find my way here as I missed the salon a few times, she stayed on the phone with me until I found my way here. My stylist, Julia, took notch service, she has been doing this for years and nailed my every request as well as using caution with my sewn in double wefts. She absolutely slayed my look, down to my particulars of how I like my "side swoop" bangs accompanied by a beach wave look. I highly recommend this salon to anyone who needs to pop in or you know that you are traveling here and would like to preplan an appointment. I recently went to this blow dry bar to get my hair blown out and got it curled for a holiday event. I noticed after the appointment that the stylist who was blowing out my hair and curling it burnt off a piece of my hair, a complete piece of where the curl was is gone so it's a lot shorter than the rest of my very long hair. I am so mad because my wedding is in a month... I do not recommend anyone to this blowdry bar to anyone. I urge you to go elsewhere because the integrity of your hair is worth way more than the damage that they caused there. read more

I went to Blo while vacationing in Naples this weekend. It was not a good experience. The wash was average. I asked the stylist to do beach waves and that is not even close to what I got. She briefly rough dried my hair and then put it up in sections and started flat brush drying it. Every other place I have been to round brushes my thick long hair. This includes the Blo in Birmingham, MI. She dried a section, sprayed tons of hairspray and then used a flat iron to curl it in very small sections to the very ends. It did not produce beach waves. She was taking a very long time. And, when she got to the last section, she did not dry it completely she just flat ironed it and my hair was burning. I stopped her and told her to dry it first. It was the worst blow out I have ever received. I would suggest more training. I would also add that the music playing in the salon was terrible. The one positive is that my hair smelled very nice from the shampoo and hairspray. My 2 friend's stylists did a nice job on their hair. So there are good stylists there. The stylist didn't say one word to me the entire time I got my hair done, it was so awkward. Then, when pulling back my hair she scratched my eye somehow and just gave a quick "sorry". My eye hurt the entire day, I have no clue how this even happened - it was gross and painful. She also wore her mask under nose the entire time. Why make it mandatory for your guests to wear masks if the staff can't even figure out how to properly wear one? Go to Air Bar on 41, it is much better. read more

We recently visited Blo Blow Dry Bar as a bridal party to get ready for my best friends wedding. First and foremost, the woman who did the makeup was WONDERFUL. She was very sweet, did great work, and made sure each guest for exactly what she wanted. The hair services were a completely different story. I'm sorry that we can't name any names- we were never given any. The bride came with a vision in her head of what she would like her hair to be- a beachy, slightly messy fishtail braid. She was immediately told that that would not be possible (why? She has bra strap length hair.) and was given a side bun with two crown braids. When asked what she thought, she told the truth and said it wasn't what she wanted, and asked if the stylist could make some changes. The stylist got upset that she was going to have to take all of the hair down and start over and was very rude *to the bride* for the duration of her appointment. The bride still left unsatisfied and just had her sister redo her hair when we got back to the hotel room. It looked amazing once we re-did it. As for the hair on the rest of the bridal party.... it fell flat. Literally. There was no volume up top, and the curls were falling out before we even left the shop. My lady did give me a touch up before while still there, but it still fell out within an hour. Our friend with short hair got nothing CLOSE to a style. It basically looked like she just got out of the shower- no texture, no volume, nothing. Overall, it was an incredibly disappointing experience. To tell a bride "No, we can't do that." is COMPLETELY beyond the pale. The rude behavior of the staff was inexcusable. And the bride, of course, STILL had to pay full price for all of the services, which seems completely inappropriate. Nobody got what they asked for of their hair. read more

The first time I booked an appointment they called me the morning of to tell me that they didnt have a stylist available to do my hair. I gave them another shot eventually and got myself and mother an appointment for her birthday. The girls did not dress professional, looked like they just rolled out of bed, didn't mention their names and didn't offer us anything to drink the entire visit. I eventually asked for champagne and she said they didn't have any which is crazy because I've been to many blo bars and champagne is pretty much a given when you go. Our hair looked okay, basic and curled which is why I gave it the two stars but the stylists attitudes, attire and professionalism were less than par. read more

A group of 5 of us went before a black tie wedding. Four of us left unhappy. My hair looked nothing like the photo I provided. I even asked if the texture of my hair was able to accomplish the goal. I was told yes. I ended up brushing out most of what was done and recurling my entire head. My hair was straight before the wedding even began. Far too much product was used. I loved this place. It was clean and the atmosphere was hip yet relaxing. This is definitely a girls getaway type spot. There is, conveniently enough, a men's luxe barber shop called roosters right across from here. I had a groupon for a $25 blow dry. I ordered the "pillow talk" which consisted of styling my hair in soft curls. Overall the styling was fine, I would still do a better job myself but that may be me just being picky. I did feel though that the stylists were a little mediocre when it comes to things outside of what they have been taught for the franchise. For example, I now have red hair and when the stylist was going to wash my hair the water was super hot. That's a big no no. You must wash red hair with cold water. Sure enough I had some major fading after the fact. I also had a mani/pedi which was great. The girl was Puerto Rican which I loved. No offense to the hundreds of Asian nail salons, but Hispanics do it better . Much more attention to detail, she made sure my cuticles were taken care of and my polish was on point. The service overall was great and the owner was so sweet. She even gave me a mimosa to chill and the wifi password. I would definitely be back :) read more

Came here for a bachelorette party - a few stylists were good, and the makeup artist, Katie, is particularly good. Some stylists though, had no idea what they were doing. Our main complaint is that several in our party were essentially tricked into paying more. For example, I was told that my hair was too short for basically anything besides an updo (which turns out to be an extra $25...never mentioned at the time). One girl got charged an extra amount for having "a lot of pins" and others for braids. We were never informed of these charges at the time, leaving the maid of honor with the awkward responsibility of telling people they owed extra. read more

Lauren Cancelosa was the BEST! I was in Naples for a wedding and just didn't want to deal with my hair. Lauren gave me a great blow out AND full makeup service. She was very communicative about what she was dong and asked a lot of questions about the look I was going for to ensure that I would be happy. If I lived in Naples, I'd definitely go see Lauren regularly. I removed one star for the salon itself. I called ahead to ask about eyelash service and add it onto my appointment. When Lauren reached into the bin to get the eyelashes there was only 1 false lash left. Luckily, I had brought my own as back-up, but what if I hadn't?? Me and my friend had an afternoon wedding to attend. We had spent the day at the beach and didn't want to deal with our hair. They have a book with the different blow out styles they have making it easy for me to pick one out. I choose the curls and really loved how it turner out. She is attentive and takes the extra time to section your hair before drying and using the appropriate products with a flat or curling iron to seal the style. There are definitely things that I did and did not like about Blo. Firstly, I had spoken with a girl there names Hannah on several occasions to coordinate a small party for 7 girls. She assured me that there would be 4 stylists available so we would only need to have 2 rounds of girls getting their hair done. However, when we showed up there were only three meaning that 1 of the stylists had to rush through hair styling 3 of the girls! The hair turned out great at first, but after two hours all of the hair styles were drooping. All of the beautiful curls looked terrible after only three hours! If you decide to come here, make sure that the use product in your hair to keep your style looking good. Also, I have been to other drybars where they offer sparkling wine and water, but this place didn't do either. read more

Tried calling over 5 times to schedule appointment and phone line was busy so I went online and scheduled my appointment for bonded extensions and blowout. I tried calling 8 times the morning of my appointment, because I never received a confirmation call about my appointment, but the phone was busy. I got there and they didn't have the type of extensions I scheduled for or the correct color. They didn't have any extensions my color (brown). So needless to say I was disappointed that I scheduled something in advance and they were not properly prepared. I will say that my stylist Carolina, was very pleasant and offered her assistance in putting extensions in my hair, if I went out and bought them myself. I got married on April 16, 2016 and chose Blo Blow Dry Bar of Naples to do hair and makeup for all of my bridesmaids and myself. Prior I had called many places and they were quoting such high prices and being since bridesmaids already pay for dresses, shoes and everything else, I wanted to find some where good and reasonable. Blo Naples was just the place! They were amazing and so welcoming. They allowed us to bring in lunch for all my bridesmaids and set up a whole lunch and beverage table for everyone. Everyone's hair turned out amazing and after being there for three hours, they did quick touch ups before we all left and sprayed us down well. Jenna did our makeup and made us all pop! That girl has some mad makeup skills! They took lots of pics of us with their camera and even sent them to me which was a huge blessing since I didn't take many! I was NOT impressed. A few of the girls were standing and sitting around outside when I walked up. Nobody smiled, and I was barely greeted when I walked in. They had me sit down, & nobody offered me anything to drink until my stylist showed up. I couldn't even tell you name of the stylist who did my hair, because she never said my name or introduced herself to me. The scalp massage she did was excellent, but the blow dry was just sub-par. For $50, I should walk out of there feeling like a million bucks. Instead, my $50 feels wasted. I wanted a nice treat for my birthday...and that's not what I got. read more

This is my first experience with a blow bar. I scheduled it because I had a black tie event to attend. My stylist, Rachel, was very nice. My blow out not so much. She worked on the back but became very hurried when a drop in customer appeared. After signaling her coworker five more minutes, she hurried on the front. I had to ask for more curls and then to my disappointment they didn't stay in for the evening. What a waste of $50!!!! read more
