I went to this salon because of all the good reviews, but I was very disappointed in the experience. My haircut was good, not great. The stylist who do my hair was totally distracted the entire time I was in the chair - talking to other stylists and clients about what he would be doing at his side gig over the coming weekend. Apparently it was a wedding hair and makeup gig that was a big deal, and I get that he was excited about it, but when I pay to get my hair done that's my time and I expect the stylist to pay attention to what they are doing enough to give me a decent hair cut. Services I've had include: a blow out, full makeup, hair cut , gloss and highlights, so safe to say I've experienced everything at Teez. David provides excellent service when applying makeup. He made me look natural and highlighted my natural features. The front desk phones are always answered in a polite manner. And if you email them they get back to you ASAP. The salon clearly has a large regular clientele, so the little wait (with water, coffee, tea offered) was fine. Every time I come into town I always make sure to book my hair appt. with either David or Danny. I'm picky when it comes to people cutting my hair. I've never had any problems with either of them cutting and styling my hair. I even had both Danny and David do my bridal hair and makeup along with my bridesmaids. They really listen to you when you're telling them what you want. They are always so much fun to be around. Those are just a few reasons I'll only go to them. Had my hair done by David today for the first time and I am so happy not only with the results, but with my entire experience. Granted I was there for a very long time, but I hadn't had my hair done in over 8 weeks, so the outgrowth was pretty bad. David started with asking me what my budget was, which was amazing and greatly appreciated. David took his time, and made sure that I was happy every step of the way by periodically checking in with me and he went above and beyond with the services that I received. Overall this salon has a great vibe, it's clean and I love the decor! David and Danny periodically checked in with staff/assistants to see how they were doing, it's nice to see business owners do that with staff. I found both David and Danny very personable and you can tell they care about the staff and their clients. I also received a nice little Christmas parting gift of hand sanitizer and a cute bottle opener key chain (that will definitely come in handy ). Can't say enough wonderful stuff about this place. I've gotten two partial foil, gloss, and haircuts by Jen and get crazy compliments on my hair. She is meticulous and ensures she's customizing my "look" to match my preference. The whole staff is friendly and enjoyable: Jen, Danielle, Kat, and the owner. Very warm greeting my the receptionist and owner and my stylist Charles was awesome! He knows hair, has been doing this for over 30 years! He came from my hometown area Boston, Ma! I wanted hand painting done for color instead of fouls and he's the one to go to! He is very professional, friendly, and for experienced! He uses the European method with steam which makes the hair more moist and the hair color comes out great! The hair color line they use is Goldwell, a very well known color line which is great! Complete Lack of Respect for me. I called in advance and booked an appointment with Sir Daniel; I confirmed my appointment with Sir Daniel the day before the appointment; I checked in on the day of the appointment and asked for Sir Daniel; I didn't get my hair cut nor colored by Sir Daniel. After checking in at reception, I was taken to David's chair for cut and color. At no time up to this point did anyone tell me that Sir Daniel would not be doing my hair and that he had in fact been out for several weeks (he was out before I booked the appointment). Even David didn't say anything about him doing my hair instead of Daniel. Did they think that I wouldn't notice that David not Daniel was in front of me? At first I was embarrassed by how they treated me then I was baffled by the experience and finally very angry. I needed a cut and color desperately so I had no choice but to go along with this game that they played with me. If at any point someone would have told me that Daniel wasn't available and would I mind booking with David, I would have said fine.
