I went to this salon because of all the good reviews, but I was very disappointed in the experience. My haircut was good, not great. The stylist who do my hair was totally distracted the entire time I was in the chair - talking to other stylists and clients about what he would be doing at his side gig over the coming weekend. Apparently it was a wedding hair and makeup gig that was a big deal, and I get that he was excited about it, but when I pay to get my hair done that's my time and I expect the stylist to pay attention to what they are doing enough to give me a decent hair cut. The salon clearly has a large regular clientele, so the little wait (with water, coffee, tea offered) was fine. Every time I come into town I always make sure to book my hair appt. with either David or Danny. I'm picky when it comes to people cutting my hair. I've never had any problems with either of them cutting and styling my hair. I even had both Danny and David do my bridal hair and makeup along with my bridesmaids. They really listen to you when you're telling them what you want. They are always so much fun to be around. Those are just a few reasons I'll only go to them. Had my hair done by David today for the first time and I am so happy not only with the results, but with my entire experience. Granted I was there for a very long time, but I hadn't had my hair done in over 8 weeks, so the outgrowth was pretty bad. David started with asking me what my budget was, which was amazing and greatly appreciated. David took his time, and made sure that I was happy every step of the way by periodically checking in with me and he went above and beyond with the services that I received. Overall this salon has a great vibe, it's clean and I love the decor! David and Danny periodically checked in with staff/assistants to see how they were doing, it's nice to see business owners do that with staff. I found both David and Danny very personable and you can tell they care about the staff and their clients. I also received a nice little Christmas parting gift of hand sanitizer and a cute bottle opener key chain (that will definitely come in handy ). Can't say enough wonderful stuff about this place. I've gotten two partial foil, gloss, and haircuts by Jen and get crazy compliments on my hair. She is meticulous and ensures she's customizing my "look" to match my preference. The whole staff is friendly and enjoyable: Jen, Danielle, Kat, and the owner. I wanted hand painting done for color instead of fouls and he's the one to go to! He is very professional, friendly, and for experienced!
