Needless to say my hair w as processed incorrectly and turned brassy orange. I was invited back at no cost to try again or "put it back" to original. I chose to put it back. I was told that would entail dying it to the darkest root color match. That ended up not being so, rather turning out black and not done at temples. it looked like a bad 5 minutes for men dye job. Furthermore I was charged $90. Then I was asked for a tip via text after I left. friends and neighbors are appalled and even asked to know where it was done so they can avoid the salon. I went to Sally Beauty Supply a few days later. People who don't know me said " that's too dark and poorly done." I'm sa d, frustrated, and very disappointed. This isn't high salon work!

First of all there are no multiples ~ as in: Makeup Artists & Hair Stylists as described above, but rather there is single person, Laura Vlad, so just a bit of false representation on he part to make everyone think she is part of a team. It is a room and not a clean room, and then there is Laura and possibly her daughter if she cannot find a sitter, as was my recent situation, 5 hours with Laura and Laura's daughter in a 12 x 12 room ..oh great! And all while she is charging outrageous and completely unjustified fees based on her talent ( or lack there of). She just destroyed my hair with the worst color of my entire life. left it on way too long and fried it and then gave me the most ridiculous excuse for a cut I have ever experienced, I have a ball 5" wide and 4" long on the back of my head of hair that is 2 inches long and then drops into 4-5 inch rough ugly pieces of hair. My advice is do not walk away but "run away" from this place ~ she is totally out of her league and should not be licensed in the state of Florida. read more

Every bride should book Vogue Hair Design for their wedding day! I am from New Jersey and I had my dream wedding in Naples, Florida. I went for my trial a month and a half before my wedding date and I was really impressed with both my hair and my makeup. Laura was very flexible suggesting and willing to try different hair styles as I was still not sure what I wanted. On my wedding day I have never in my life felt so beautiful!!! My make up and hair looked perfect, lasted all day and all night and I received so many compliments on how beautiful I looked. I've had my hair and makeup professionally done a few times here in New Jersey but I never looked and felt so beautiful. My 5 bridesmaids and the rest of the bridal party got hair and makeup done and all of them looked amazing! Laura did a beautiful job on my blonde highlights, low lights, and haircut! I'm new to the area and was nervous about finding a salon I would be happy with. I read great reviews about Laura online, and I was not disappointed after leaving her salon! She loves what she does, and it certainly reflects in her work! She doesn't rush and takes the time to study your hair and listen to your requests for styling! After finishing my hair, she stayed and discussed/showed me different hair styles for my upcoming wedding in November! She was already booked to do a wedding on my wedding day but she coordinated an appointment for me with one of her associates! Absolutely amazing stylist and overall atmosphere in this salon. Detail oriented, perfectionist and very talented in regards to her job but also a pleasure to spend time with such a sophisticated and smart woman while she is doing your hair. What I love the most every time I'm getting my hair done with Laura is that she will never assume that you want your hair just as the last time she did it, but always consulting with you to find out about your lifestyle at the moment, so she would give you the right look for it. Laura is so talented... a true artist, you can tell that quickly as she focuses In on you & the hopes & dreams you have for your hair! As the other reviews have said, she listens. I recently moved from New York City and I was in desperate need to find a stylist that will manage to "hide" my flat head, which is always showing if I don't have an adequate hair cut! A friend of mine recommended Laura at Vogue Hair Design. What impressed me the most is that, without even mentioning anything, Laura noticed right away the "trouble" area and suggested the perfect cut and color placement in order to camouflage and build body! Laura always does an incredible job coloring my hair and always takes the time to make sure my vision is fully executed. I always leave feeling great about my look.
